I have had my nexus one since day one and I love this phone. Best phone I ever had. But I was thinking of finally getting something new even though my nexus one is in great shape and running smooth. I was looking at the
Nexus one s
Nexus one x
Galaxy nexus
Samsung galaxy 3
Which phone is the best or are all 4 very solid phones? Also where can I find the best price on them? Any insight on the phones or pricing would be great. I'm with Cincinnati bell so looking for it to be unlocked. Thanks for any info.

Hi, my used galaxy s2 is about to die and I'm looking for a replacement phone. I don't want another Samsung as both kies and rooting causes me problems.
I want a fast phone that doesn't break the bank on android. I was looking at the HTC one s but have read about a home screen error?
Suggestions please. Thanks.

...the one x is a bit too big for my needs I think.
Budget around £200, bearing in mind on certain sites phones are available cheaper than official shops.

I currently have the toro (VZW Galaxy Nexus), and I am thinking of replacing it with an S3. I am on my 8th replacement phone, and this is really pissing me off. I have had so many problems with this phone, but I like the fact that it's a Nexus. My friend has a d2att and it's amazing, so I'm wondering if I should ask VZW to replace mine with a d2vzw.
I want your guys' opinion on this. I will be flashing my current setup if I do get one (AOKP + LeanKernel).
I don't care. Its up to you.

Multiple Nexus replacements are about the only reason they are upgrading people to S3.

Wow that was a nice comment.
I switched from VzW GNex to S3 and haven't looked back. I love this device.

What a completely unnecessary reply to this thread. Shame on you.
OP, 8 replacements?! Wow! I would try and see if you can get an S3. Doesn't hurt to ask. With CM10 this phone is amazing!
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
You might as well go for it. Worst case is they don't let you get the s3.
I'm actually thinking of replacing my nexus with an S3. Just for the battery life would warrant me to pursue this path. Seems like everyone's going for the S3, I just gotta find the courage to purchase it at full price as I want to keep my unlimited data. OP, I think the S3 would make you less stressed.
Just wondered if anyone is going to sell their one s and get the nexus 4 next week? I'm seriously considering it.

I sold my desire for £75 and will easily get £200 for the one S. Yeah, i want the updates faster!!
Thanks but no, I'll stay with the One S.
When I bought it two months ago, I wanted a 4,3'' screen, a slim device device, and a gorgeous design.
According to me, the Nexus 4 has none of this things.

Hi,
I believe the title says it all. I was pretty sure my next phone will be Google Experience. I really love the community and opportunities with this. I had Sony Xperia for about a month and it was terrible with support. But Nexus 4, apart from being much more expensive when bought from a shop and not from Google (which doesnt sell to Czech Republic), has one thing that I really hate - a battery that cant be easily replaced. Im used to carrying one spare (or more when on a longer trip) on me and I can easily switch them even when staning on a crowded bus. I couldnt do that with N4.
So, do you find this to be such a serious issue I consider it to be? And what other phones would you recommend, please?
Galaxy Nexus. Or hacked Galaxy S3 as a second choice. Maybe an HTC One X with CM10 could be a really sexy phone too.

Galaxy Nexus would be the best, no doubts. Don't go for N4, it doesn't seems to go good so far. A few bugs have already been discovered.

Isnt it a bit ... big ... ?
If u wanna stay nexus, go galaxy nexus, the prices should even be lower due to the n4 being out
Sent from my awesome Nexus S
The Nexus Series has its own reputation and of them all, its Development support. While the Nexus 4 is claimed to be bugged with buzzing sound and no Out-of-the-box OTG, it couldn't be considered better than the Galaxy Nexus. The same being the reason for me to buy Galaxy Nexus too, in a month or two.
I too find Note series a bit big for a smartphone to carry in our pockets. No offense to anyone's opinions

Sadly, no because the new flagship doesn't even intend to stand near the Galaxy Nexus. But the price is fine enough for such an amazing device. :highfive:
I think Note 2 is the best choice!
I would go for the Galaxy Nexus. :good:
How much cheaper is the galaxy nexus in your country?

Galaxy Nexus is €295, Nexus 4 is €458, its more than €150 difference. And the inability to change battery with N4 is bad too. Looks to me that I will go for Galaxy Nexus.
BTW should we even talk together? Your country keeps our citizens arrested for espionage!
Keep in mind that the galaxy nexus has poor battery life.
We hold your devs hostages! Pay the ransom so we can solve our financial problems!

I upgraded to a Samsung galaxy Sii, and now I want to sell my inspire. It has a cracked screen, but its only the top corner. It also has an otter box case, charger case, and another tpu case. What could I realistically get for it?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I bought mine for 80 bucks but if you try to sell it to gazelle they'll try to tell you 25 and that's for a better condition phone...just keep the inspire, its not really a bad phone just a little outdated

Check how much they are sold on ebay and amazon, compare to your local dealers and sell it accordingly.

Ok, it really surpirses me how much these have come down in price in the last year.

It should not really. The phone is over two years old, single core processor, and officially no support past GB. ICS has been out for some time and now JB is out on its second iteration already (4.1 then 4.2). All of this drives prices way down. This is simply the way technology depreciates. The same thing happens with laptops and desktops...regardless of how clean it is.
I would base my asking price off what they are going for on ebay.
