I know that the SGP screen covers are for the TF101, however I was not too happy with the ZAGG orange peel effect on my old Transformer Prime. I recently traded it into BestBuy and got the Infinity and was hoping to do better with the hard screen protectors. However I haven't seen a ton of screen protectors outside of Skinomi and Ghost Armor.
I am seriously considering the SGP as I have used them on my phones and honestly nothing competes to the feel and protection they offer. Has anyone tried it on their Infinity with any luck?
I just so happened to have an un-used SGP anti-glare for my original TF101, so I checked it and it's a lot smaller that the TF700 screen and the camera hole doesn't line up.
I guess you *could* use it, but it would probably make the camera look like crap and, like I said, it's really too small for the TF700 screen....

Well that just stinks. But thanks for the response.
Already a dozen screen protector threads. Do a quick search for em, lots of feedback which are smoother / clearer / more durable / less costly.

Yes that's the one i'm taking about...
I ordered this on 8/7 and it has an expected ship date of 8/23-9/6
Still waiting definitely coming from HK but at this point I could probably buy something local for a bit more and have it a few more weeks before hand. This shipping is killing me but I knew it going in so this is just me ranting lol
Looks like the Sikai microfiber
the case finally arrived. Not the best, not the worst.
The case is very similar to the look and feel of ipad1 official Apple case. it is very thin, especially compared to my roocase which felt like a briefcase
The biggest issue with the case is attention to detail, especially round the buttons. They just haven't been cut out properly which is very frustrating as with a little more focus it could have been a great case. This is very noticeable around the for the power and volume buttons and the material (faux leather of whatever the **** it's called) sticks out
Also when the case is closed, you can see the flip is slightly misaligned with the rest of the case.
Anyway, it will replace my roocase as my everyday case as it's easier to carry and makes it look and feel lighter. Paid less that £10 so can't really complain

What do you think about this kind of case?
It looks interesting, very slim - I'm just wonderinf if tf300 demensions are the same as tf700 - hopefully yes?
Here you go. Had to take them in a rush for sorry for quality.
I have obviously taken a blade to the cutouts as it was just driving me crazy that i couldn't get to the power and volume buttons easily. Those are the only real faults with the case

I've got one of these. It's very slim and looks OK but not what I was after. I'll sell it for a tenner + P&P (£) if anyone is interested?

Got the poetic slim for going out and use a tf201 transleeve for home.
Anyone using the zagg invisible shield for tf201 on tf700? was thinking of getting this, just not sure if it fits well.. Thanks...
I have the full body Zagg on my tf700. Works fine. A little snug on the dock.

but can u still place the tablet on the dock well? does it have no problems in terms of performance when putting it in the dock? thanks
I used to use Zagg on everything but I got tired of the orange peel look on all my devices.
I was wondering the exact same, I've got Zagg Shields on all my devices and it works great.
Does anyone actually has a TF201 full body protection on their TF700 and does it still fit well in the dock?
Or does anybody know of a good alternative full body protection for the TF700 like: Skinomi TF700?
Dont go with Zagg, its a decent product for protecting the device but theres enough other "military grade" protectors out there you can find something that works JUST as well with not as soft material, thinner material, and smoother material, for the same or less cost.
If you find your dock snug you can always peel off the felt pads from inside the dock, i even used a file to sand em down a ltitle so its completely flat. works awesome!

Just thought I'd throw this out there so we can generate some interest and have a pattern made for some clear protective skins from BestSkinsEver
I've been using these guys for years for protecting all of my electronics / GPS screens, and have thus far found them to be the best in terms of quality / customer service and price. I can say for a fact that the material they use is identical to the material used by InvisibleShield and most of the other 'clear skin protector' companies out there. With this said, though, aside from IS, BSE has never let me down in terms of the quality of their templates, whereas with other brands I have had issues with coverage of speaker holes / screw holes/ etc.
I e-mailed the company asking if they had any plans for a TF700 body skin, and they responded with:
We have not yet received enough demand for the Asus TF700, therefore, we do not currently have plans to produce a Skin for it. We have added your name to the list to be notified if this status changes.
We have confirmed that the screen Skin for the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 is compatible and the body Skin is not.
If you are using the dock, it looks like the TF201 dock compatible screen and dock only body Skins should work on your TF700. If you would like to try either of them and they do not fit, we will be happy to honor our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee.

I am mainly interested in having a skin on the back of the Infinity to avoid any scratches / scuffs that are inevitable, even with silicone / folio type cases, since dirt or grit can get stuck between the tablet and case surfaces.
If you guys are interested, shoot them an e-mail at [email protected]. I am in no way affiliated with the company, and I apologize if this breaks any forum rules, but I am just looking to see if there's anyone else looking in a non-case solution for protecting their Infinity.

Just got a SGP Skin Guard for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, as it's designed for TF101 it's a little bit too long and a not quite as deep as it could be, but that being said it only needs a tiny bit of trimming to avoid curving around the edge of the tf700, the lack of height isn't an issue as the space cut for the ASUS logo and the hole for the camera line up nicely.
For me the it's pretty much perfect as I like to use the tablet outside of a case, but have already made a couple of scratches in the metal back, this way the it at least provides protection against that.
Not bad for $20.
Can you please post some photos. Thanks
Likely to be upgrading from my Prime to the Infinity soon and was wondering if I should bother saving myself some money in not getting a full body skin for my tablet.
I know that there were a lot of recommendations for protecting the Prime's aluminium backing as it was seen to be extremely easy to scratch. Is the Infinity's back made of the same easily scratched material, save for the plastic strip?
Better yet, wanting to hear about those who have attempted to keep their tablets out of a case and skin protector.
Here's my experience... I have the keyboard dock and leave my TF700 docked almost all of the time. The back is very easy to scratch, but I'm *very* careful with my devices and have not put any type of protection on the TF700 outer shell. Again, being very careful, I have not had any scratches or anything, but I have read reports that it's easy to scratch the aluminum... I transport my docked TF700 in a "Swiss" brand "sleeve", which works well (and also has a zippered compartment for accessories, which is nice). Purchased this @ Walmart (wasn't cheap, but...).
Regarding the screen - I originally put an anti-glare protector on my TF700 after about a week of dealing with the glare and fingerprints - it was great for reducing glare (duh!) and was *awesome* for reducing all of the fingerprints and smudges on the screen - overall I was happy with it. However, after having the anti-glare on for a few weeks, I decided to purchase a Nexus 7 - once I saw how nice the naked screen was on the Nexus 7 in comparison to the TF700 with anti-glare, I decided to remove the anti-glare from the TF700. All that I can say is *wow* - what a difference (I didn't realize how much the anti-glare degraded the TF700 screen quality!).
So, I would definitely stay away from anti-glare protectors on the TF700 and just deal with the glare and fingerprints - the screen is just *way* to nice to ruin it with the degradation that an anti-glare causes.
Hope the helps!

I like to keep mine in mint condition, I love the look of the prime and didn't want to put a skin or cover on it so I just use the Asus Transleeve and the clear front and back Skinomi skin cover. That way it is 100 percent protected and i can keep the awesome metal look.

I feel the same way.
I'd given the iPad2 a spin for a year and tried out their Zagg Invisible Shield protective skin. That was the best decision I'd made. I am careful with my stuff but there are bound 2b those accidental moments. Every little scratch healed itself. I'll never know if there was a ding avoided but probably so. When I sold it over a year later I got within 20 bucks of what they were selling for after the new iPad came out (I had a Logi keyboard 2go with it). I actually bought my Transformer with the cash I got for the iPad2. I contacted Zagg 2c if they had a tf700 Invisible Shield. Their response was no but check back they may in the future. I just checked back and they have both the full body (glass and aluminum side) AND the alum side of the dock (separately). Placed my order and expect it soon. The beauty of the model specific skin is that they have the holes exactly where the camera, microphone, speaker were on the iPad and I expect that with the Transformer they also accomodate the raised lettering and the feet on the dock. I feel like a salesman 4Zagg but credit given where credit is due.
Good Luck
Has anyone thought about covering their infinity with a skinomi skin? Im considering getting one for mine but i wanted to know about the quality and feel before i buy one.

I have Skinomi skins on my Xoom, my E4GT phone and my Passport HDD. They are good quality and fit well.
What is the feel of the skin if you dont mind me asking? Does it give you good grip?

I just received one and did not apply it yet though but most of the reviews on amazon and other sites say that it is easy to install and of great quality!

The skins I have don't add any texture...they're basically vinyl, so not necessarily adding grippiness, but don't easily slip out of my hand, either.
I've got the dark carbon skin on both my pad and dock. the installation wasn't as easy as i thought, and the fit wasn't that great..
The quality is great, though. It's sticking pretty well.

I have carbon fiber too. I like the texture, but like the previous post, the fit wasn't great. Also, I used the clear screen protector but ended up having undesirable effects. This included: poor fit for docking (its pretty tight), docking would leave a bubble line across the bottom, when closed for awhile on the dock I got dings it the protector that created a streaking effect.
I just took it off.
