RemICS v1.4 versus REMICS Beta1

I am actually using
[ROM][PORT][Android 4.0.4] RemICS v1.4 - SIII look [03-07-2012
I would like to know if the other ROM the REMICS Beta1 is better so as to move there.
Any news on Custom ROM of the Jelly Beam 4.1 ?

Remics 1.4 it's but using the cyanogen mod cm9 with alfrix kernel, while the remics beta1 made by kkrrazzyy is aokp builds.
haven't still tried out the beta1. RemICS 1.3 was very good at performance along with quote a good experience for daily usage, while 1.4 had quite a number of problems, fc.
As kkrrazzyy, is a recognized developer for our community, I'm sure it would be mostly stable. And would get better along. Give it a try.

I use JellyBelly from AdamG and apart from a few not serious bugs its pretty good. If you are willing to sacrifice the use of another kernel (his policy is to bond to kernel and his ROM until things are bug free) give it a try.

Do what everyone else does. Experiment. There is no *best*. You need to find one that suits you the most. Everybody has a personal preference.

Bugless Beast and BAMF Paradigm are tops in my opinion. CM10 is great, but is there an official build yet or just the kangs?

I'm quite satisfied with this one, it's the CM10 from Kalim.
Battery life is just great, enough mods, smooth and very stable.

Well Google only said that to CM, because it's the biggest community ROM project. CustoNexus is only released for 2 devices now.

Sure it does. Don't try to kid yourself that a single core Snapdragon S2 is better than a dual core Exynos. Unless of course you're comparing a Desire S running an AOSP ROM to a SGS2 running a TouchWiz ROM, then it isn't quite a fair comparison is it? Also, compiled with the Linaro toolchain is great sounding, but doesn't do a whole lot unless you build with the optimizations used by the Linaro team too.
EDIT: Also, custom kernel, but no kernel source posted...

I just want to know how a rom for Grouper runs on the Desire S.

Has anyone actually tried out this rom yet? And are there any known bugs in this rom?

A grouper ROM does not run on Desire S but if you check Desire S forums you would see that CustoNexus is released for it as well

I've been trying this ROM out and it seems OK. Pretty vanilla, but it's alpha 1 so... lots of time to mature. I'm about to switch to a ROM with navbar rings
as I've gotten used to having them. The only bug I've noticed is an invalid into message exactly like the one experienced on the newest Glazed version.
Which I've heard was a cm10 issue. Nice job guys, I look forward to something more fully fleshed in the future. Thanks

Final few words

Try installing gapps before testing quick settings. Couldn't access quick settings, even with a reboot. Installed gapps and it worked like a charm.

I guess so...with flinny's mddi karnel should work

No. This is not a sense Rom.

Yahoo weather widget shows some absolutely wrong values.
Also Live Wallpapers cannot be selected.
I used mini gapps

Flashing the andromadusMOD kernel should work fine, just make a backup first, just in case.

There is some issue with dialer.
When start calling screen goes black and cannot be turn on while you make call.
Anyway nice ROM but I switched back to Sabsa.

Blazing smooth no bugs except one! The audio, specifically the bass is messed up! This is an issue in all AOSP builds except CM 10.1 based roms. Bass is not deep enough - as compared to flinnys CM 10.1 builds (w/o DSP of any kind) I have keen ears and a good pair of headphones so I could catch it. Probably it won't matter to everyone but it does to me!
is there any way we could replace audio files of this by those from flinnys CM builds @vampire36?
If somebody can point me in d right direction I am willing to do it as well

Well can you try installing awesome beats and check if it improves the situation...
Else if thats the case will try create a zip of CM10.1 audio files

I saw this thread today, and almost flipped. So I rushed in to try Xylon Fusion, and goo.im isn't working for me.

If any of you are experiencing any lag (like I was), try to uninstall the turbo nos tweaks, it helped clear my lag up I'll remove them in the next update, just go to the main thread of those tweaks and the 2nd post there is a download to a flash able uninstall zip file

So has anybody tried this on tilapia?

A little question, are you going to compile a new build soon with the new xylon 2.3 version in it? and without the nos tweaks?
2nd question, it says in the OP you do also add your own tweak and features to it. What are those tweaks/features?
