I need a little help.
My ROM is : RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_Vodafone_DE_3.32.162.11_R_Radio_11.69A.3504.00U_11.23.3504.07_M2_release_251539_signed
I root-ed with SuperSU v0.92 installed in recovery mode with install from zip file option.
Rooted but S-ON
HBOOT 1.27.0000
Can i flash ROM to stock without s-off my device?
Sorry foe my bad english

Of course you can. Just use 4ext and make sure smart flash is enabled (4ext is a recovery)

And maybe another stupid question. My phone was removed from the Vodafone network and passed to Serbia.
Whether this program will lock my phone for Vodafone network or not?
I'm new to the Android world i know how this works on iOS.

If you brought the phone network locked.. Then other sums can't be used.. And if it unbranded or sim unlocked then changing roms/ruus doesn't effect the unlock status

How to un-root HTC One S

I Want to un-root my unlocked HTC One S. The original carrier was Telus (Canada) But i have been using it on Bell. I have read a couple forums on here and none seem to help me. My phone was rooted with a stock rom. But i have deleted all Super user data and relocked my boot loader And re installed the stock recovery but i still cannot get software updates (The reason I want to un-root) Can someone tell me what i am missing?
Did you try the full unroot option within SuperSu's settings?
Edit: nevermind. You said super user not supersu

I have downloaded the Rogers ruu. But haven't ran it yet. Will it lock my phone to rogers if i run it? Or do i need to find a ruu the is for my appropriate carrier?
Get then Run the Telus RUU.
There's few threads about that on XDA with easy steps.

Unless you got a SuperCID your phone is branded as a Telus phone and require the Telus RUU. RUUs are linked with the CID of the phone, not the SIM inserted, you can't run a Bell RUU.

rooting htc sensation 4G on ICS

Sorry for asking about this, I've searched around and find there are various posted and not sure which is correct one now.
I just got back a HTC Sensation from repaired that they replaced. IT comes with ICS already installed....so now I want to root it so I can unlock to use with other phone companies. I don't plan on using custom ROMs and would like to be able to receive future updates.
What's the best way to root the phone with this new firmware already installed? Can someone point me to the right guide? I see there's some all in one tool and also about unlocking the bootloader via the DevTool but I prefer not to lose warranty.
Thanks for the help
Well if your hboot is 1.27 you will need to head on over to HTC dev to unlock the boatloader and once you accomplish that install a custom recovery I would recommend 4ext and make sure smart flash is enabled and now you have two options you can root the stock Rom or you can download a custom Rom and if your comfortable with doing the wire trick to s off

So the only way to root is to unlock bootloader from HTC Dev first? All I want to do is get root so I can unlock the phone sim lock right now!
You got it

Hi,
Check HERE
Also I notice that you mentioned sim unlock you don't need to be rooted to unlock your sim unlocking your sim is referring to making your device carrier free meaning if in the U S you will have your choice of GSM carriers to choose from depending on how far you go with the sim unlocking process you could free it up from tmo and that will allow you to transition over to AT&T or you could free it up free it up for all gsm carriers like straight talk and your now there's is a script I saw in the dev section to unlock your sim I my self haven't tested it yet I can hunt it down for you if that's what your looking for however to run this script yes you will need to be rooted

Hi,
For sim unlock,look HERE
and maybe HERE
Malybru as given you two links and those are what your looking for and as I stated in a previous post you will need to have your device unlock and rooted to run that script so your your main focus right now is to unlock your bootloader and install custom recovery and then root your device and you may have to s off your device to run that script as I haven't tryed the script yet so be sure to read up on it more before running the script

[Q] Help with update !!

HEy everyone,
I have an HTC One S with Fido and after getting sick of waiting for 4.0.4 (which still hasnt realeased to us) i sim-unlocked the phone in hopes of getting hte update. However to my bad luck it still shows that there are no new updates.. Can anyone explain to me what is wrong ??
P.S: I know a lot of people will suggest me to flash a custom ROM but I just want to know if i can get it the normal way.
Thanks in advance
What country are you in? A little more description with your question might help

The reason is because to sim unlock you have to have root. You can't update with root. I would flash an ruu that matches your device, tmobile, europe, rogers, etc... andmatches your bootloader. (1.06, 1.09, 1.13, 1.14) (You must lock your boot loader prior to the ruu. "fastboot oem lock") Run the ruu > update > root > new rom(Optional) > sim unlock again. Hope this helps

I am in Canada and my build number is 1.84.631.9 CL64348.
I did some research in other threads and what i seem to understand is that my phone is still bound to my carrier's updates unless I change the CID.... Tell me if i'm wrong.
And @Qs5 I'm not rooted yet and the bootloader isn't even unlocked, when i said i sim-unlocked my phone i was talking about the old fashioned way (with the unlock code).

[Q] updating to official ICS

Im a noob here i just wanted to know if i update my htc sensation 4g (on official 2.3.4 with locked bootloader and s-off) to official ics will i loose my carrier unock. I unlocked it using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1232107
Nope. . . Never loose carrier freedom after update
Before updating , I recommend get s off now in case if u want flashing in future .
Coz getting s off on ics ( include wire trick ) is verry difficult than gingerbread. .

Hi greetings
can you give us the details of your bootloader
so that we can help you
to boot into bootloader
remove and reinsert battery
press and hold volume down+ power botton till phone boots
write every thing what shows on that screen
have you made NANDROID backup if yes restore it from recovery
IF NO THEN WHY YOU DID NOT MADE THE BACK UP
Re: [Q] Htc Sensation 4g bootloop
I think the 2.3 stock rom runs on a gingerbread firmware. I think you should have upgraded your firmware to ics one before flashing the cyanogenmod 9, because it is based on ics.

as alsager said you have to update your firmware version first to ics one
flash 3.33fw
see here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
follow the steps carefully and before flashing check md5 sums(it is important)
then flash an ics or jelly bean rom
best wishes
edit: post first your bootloader details to confirm it
?
