And, you should state for the 701 JB or ICS. I would suspect it is for ICS.

Dear all
My tf700t stops at the first Asus monitor with nVidia logo down and unlocked at the top left. Have rooted it with unlocked it with Asus tool, rooted with "RootDebugfs," added TWRP via GooManager and tested several roms, but Asus will not boot. Having thus access to Fastboot and TWRP. The following roms is tried: "Mysticial ROM v1", "Team EOS ROM for the TF700" and "Maniacs ROM" for 4.0, but the same thing happens every time. Have tried all possible ways to delete cache but no result. I need help now.

It seems you picked three ROMS with problems to try for your 1st flash. I can't say anything about the Mystical ROM v1 (although it is based on a TF300 JB OTA) but the other 2 just may not boot at all (maniac is old old, and the EOS JB Rom v3 couldn't boot).
If you can try ZEUS v4 (ICS) or unofficial CM10 alphs latest 9/25 build (JB) you would be OK.
IF you are truly stuck, and you have a microsd card, follow the restore from a soft brick guide from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803343
Please note that this guide references the .26 update...if you updated to the .30 update, use that stock rom (I think you can get it from the same place). Just follow the instructions and you should be back at square one-stock. Re-root and reinstall TWRP, then choose a ROM more wisely, by reading the threads to see what is working well.

Sorry, no luck with the ZEUS v4. Same happen again. When booting, the first screen hangs....no weel either. Have been reading for 3 days now here on xda and tryed a lot of possible solutions. I cant get TWRP to mount a microsd card, have to rely on the pad itself. So, any other ideas?

Why not installing a stock rom (the same version you had before the issues started) with TWRP, that should get you back on track.
Edit: Yes european version should be WW_SKU and please use the firmware not the source.
Got one step further ..or did I? Tryed to put in stock .30 used "fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob" in fastboot usb-mode. Seemd ok until this message arrived: Failed to prosess flash system error (0x17003)
So, close but not there. There are some problem with flashing since other images also refuse to install. What now?
I'm a newbie. And I'm trying to make sure I understand what I'm doing before going on with hacking my tablet. Responses are appreciated.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, model GT-P5113, ICS v4.0.4 out of box
I have successfully followed these instructions [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26170800&postcount=1 ] and successfully rooted tablet. Tablet works great.
When I boot into recovery the recovery screen top menu says "CWM-based Recovery v5.5.0.4"
Is THIS ClockWorkdMod? It just says CWM. I know dumb question, but I want to be certain before I start trying to install custom ROMs.
Also, I found that http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager [locate in page string "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P5113)"] version 6.0.1.1 seems to be a later version. If my "CWM-based Recovery v5.5.0.4" really is ClockWordMod, how do I upgrade to v 6.0.1.1? Do I just follow the same basic steps I did to get 5.5.0.4 on my tablet.
And this article [http://www.androidauthority.com/gal...110-p5113-clockworkmod-touch-recovery-112409/ ] refers to ClockWordMod v 6.0.1.2, should I use it instead?
Thanks!

It's ClockworkMod based (built from CWM Source). Follow the instructions for v6.0.1.2 and you should be on your way .
Thanks

I appreciate the help. Worked perfectly.
Hello, I'm using T-Mobile (UK) HTC One SV with JB (rooted)
I follows this link to root my phone and thus I've got the JB CWM version listed in the link.
The problem is when I boot into recovery mode into the CWM, the screen is shifted a bit to left and the cropped/shifted part is appearing on the right! (I hope I'm making some sense with this 'shifted screen' explanation. I'd like to post a screenshot if someone can help me with getting a screenshot in recoverymode) Anybody else facing this problem? If yes, how can I fix it?
On a slightly different note, I'd like to admit that whilst following the rooting procedure mentioned above, I tried to be a 'smart arse' and tried flashing CWM 6.0.3.8 on the device, which just wouldn't load /data with error
Code:
Can't mount /data
and same with cache and respective logs. And because of that I wasn't able to do a backup either. I tried, quite a few times, to format the SD card into FAT32 etc but it was having none of it! :crying:. Then when I slapped myself for not following the procedure, like a good boy , and got the same CWM listed in the link, I was able to do backup and no errors were being displayed in regards to mounting of /data. :good: I thought I'd share my experience on for others to learn from.
This screen flickering is a know problem of this touch recovery.
Its not developed to the end.
I recommend you to use TWRP recovery which is fully functional.

Thanks for quick reply. I've never used TWRP and to be honest, quite new to this depth of rooting, recovery etc. Does TWRP offer similar set of features as CWM? And is there a 'touch' TWRP for this device on JB? If so, could you kindly post me the link.
Most up to date version you will find here:
[TWRP 2.6] Updated 9/21/13 All variants TWRP recovery 2.6
Another (older):
[Recovery] TWRP Recovery 2.x
Yes, all touch and has more features than cwm.

Thanks a lot! I shall give it a try
At this point I've tried to install both
[ROM][CM11][4.4.2][KitKang][KANG] TF300T nightly builds and
[ROM][4.4.2][OFFICIAL] CM-11.0 for tf300t on TWRP 2.5.0.0 (I'm coming from Cromi-X 5.2.3), but received the following error: error executing updater binary in zip.
Then I tried to install TWRP 2.6.3.0 (for 4.2 bootloader) but received the same error.
Then I tried to install CWM 6.0.2.3 but it couldn't see any storage at all.
Do you know how I can install any of the new 4.4.2 roms?
Thanks in advance

David
You're right! too much risk of brick ... there is a simple and effective guide ... I keep the stock version

Nobody knows which recovery I should use?
You need the special KitKat recovery to install a 4.4.2 ROM. Look in the first post of the OmniRom thread or the seventh post of the Official CM thread for that recovery. You need to be on the latest JB booloader: 10.6.1.15 and above.
Sent from my TF300T using xda app-developers app
I flashed the recovery which is in the first post of the Official CM thread and that one works fine. You can follow the instructions which are in post #7 and make sure you restart into your current android OS. Otherwise you probably won't see internal or external SD in recovery mode.

Yes, that is the compatible KitKat CWM. There is also a compatible KitKat TWRP.
I'd like to install Gnabo's rom but for it I have to install a new recovery (CWM).
This CWM replacement recovery do the root together, right?
But I'm afraid cause the KNOX will be counted, right?
So what can I do?
Thank you.

Hi,
Yes you are correct it will be counted however this is a way to reset it. Check this very detailed guide written by Darkman. It explains step by step how to root the phone and Install CWM over Odin. All the links are there.
[RECOVERY][RootGuide][ALL NOTE 10.1]Official CWM Recovery Touch & Non-Touch 6.0.3.6
Instead of installing the regular CWM may I suggest installing Phillz version of CWM, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8010 (WiFi Only) PhilZ Touch Advanced CWM Recovery its CWM but tweaked. I have been trying to install a the Hyperdrive rom for days now and have had no luck over CWM or TWRP due to the AROMA freezing issue and I just tried Phillz and it flashed the Rom no problem the first time. I literally tried over 100 times today to flash it over CWM and nothing.
Hope that helps. PM me if you have any issues
I rooted my device with framaroot. You can find it with search.

Just framroot, thats it? You dont have to do all the geek process explained in forums? After framroot, were you able to import apps successfully through titanium backup?
