I am so sorry for asking this but how do I go about rooting stock GB Leak UCLB3? I hate this horrid battery life and cant find how to root it so I can SGS Flash another kernel to get another CWM and flash another ROM.

Froyo, yikes. Update to gingerbread with kdz method asap. Froyo is slow and battery drain was diabolical.
Ignore the "no updates" rubbish, that's just your carrier who can't be bothered to give you any.

You are mucking up the forums with questions that have been answered over and over. Please use the search button. I think it's one of the rules (or at least it should be). Everything you need to know is in the dev section. Reading will make you more knowledgeable about your phone, its capabilities and this entire forum.

Sorry i just dont seem to get the right response when i post in right place for some reason. But i will do it from now on.

Good that you have rooted successfully.
21E baseband is the one that doesn't have the :GHOST CALLS" issue.
ROMs are sensitive to the baseband versions, so please be careful about te ROM you are trying out else you will face no network / boot loop / stuck on LG screen.
If you can flash Baseband 21E, then Promethius ROM 1.4 with Promethius Kernel v 1.4.5.1 ( please check for kernel versions with + and without + in the end) will give out the best battery life (as per my experience)
(He seems to be the only one active ROM developer left)

Ive tryed that rom a couple of time twice had no network signal and once stuck on lg screen bloody pain. I thought it was coz i was still running froyo but since on gb still wont work and for sum reason it wont flash the kernals all a bit of a blag for me so just on rooted stock rom now lol

You must be on GB and baseband 21e to use latest prometheus roms, and kernels.I think you can use Prometheus 1.3 rom with 1.3 kernel, and you will have signal.

was running aeon just fine wanted to try new rom flashed it and rebooted into a not enought space on patiction figure make partiction bigger change it to 256 then lost all data in sd card and still have not enought space voice
tyring odin again since i got no roms on sdcard atm.kinda bugging out can any one plz help or kinda stear me i the right way

Hello I have a Samsung exhilarate and I want to put a new rom on it the cm 10 the only problem is I can't get anything to load. I need help im tired of jellybean. Theres too many things not working for me and i want to go back to GingerBread. I try to flash GingerBread roms but it just brings me back to CWM recovery. Is there a way to go back or im stuck on jellybean. I even tried to flash an Icecream Sandwich rom but it just brings me back to CWM recovery. My recovery is 6.0.2.8.
You probably should just one-click to stock and start from there.

I don't think you can downgrade from an mtd ROM if you were using one. I think you will have to return to the stock 2.3.6 first, and then flash another ROM if you would like.

That means you were using an MTD ROM before, so you have to restore to stock. There's an easy way to do with the Heimdall One-Click
