I think the KG4 leak is the one that has the gb bootloaders... BUT! to be save, look for the GB Starter Pack thread made by FBis251 (or something very close) that has worked for me to upgrade from froyo to gb and many others. Hope I helped!

All of the leaks have GB bootloaders.
If you're just planning to have a 100% stock odexed ROM, then you should go for the newest KJ1 ROM.
If you're just asking this to see which GB ROM is the best, you should shoot yourself in the foot, cause you could probably find at least 3 recent threads on that topic.
I'm looking around in the forums and you're spending very little time in searching and trying to understand.
What is the most stabled gb odin I can flash and whats the most stabled froyo I can flashhh...

There simply IS no best.
But personally I flashed KG4
Then flashed the newest version of Valhalla, and I've found it SUPER SEXY and FAST 0.0
And yes, Stable. I havent had any FCs or Crashes at all yet...
KG4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183413

I followed the process to ODIN KG4
then used recovery mode to flash Valhalla (Via Zip) from SD card
You have to read the GB Starter Pack and begin there in order to get the proper bootloaders for GB. Then you can simply flash Valhalla.

DONT USE ROM MANAGER. you will most likely need to flash with ODIN. What are you running froyo or GB?

Again, do not use ROM Manager. It does not work correctly with our phones. Whatever you need to flash, use ODIN or CWM. I'm not sure about UOT Kitchen though.
you flash UOT files though CWM, it works fine and I've done it many times.
Don't use Rom Manager.

So im using one of Dr honks's kernals. The 2.3.3 one with the messed up rainbow screen when you boot it up. Ive already had 4 problems with it and ive been running this for 3 days. Plus I cant even get into recovery. Is there a stable 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 kernal that has recovery?

sounds like you don't have the correct boot loaders on your phone, and you didn't flash gingerbread properly the first time around.
follow FB's directions to get your phone on a correct gingerbread build with the right boot loaders:

keep it tho honestly because this is the only real device that sucks with rom manger and u wont always have that phone
Raver has a great app on his ROM for CWM access..it's called Quick Boot..get it from market. Remember with GB I'd use kj1 from drhonk. Only use Bali 2.3 with froyo.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
Do you guys think that if I do a 2.3.5 kernal by Dr Honks that I wont have to factory rest my phone? Cuz I finally have my phone all organized and the way I like it most and that take forever.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
If u do that through CWM recovery then no u won't.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
Kj1 would work best.. DL it through the phone if u want, move it to sd from the download folder (could be tapatalk folder depending on which browser u use) and flash through CWM . Should be pain free.

Any way to stock out my rom?

I am running 2.2.1 KD1 (odin) rooted, cwm 3.0.2.8 (fixed) and was wondering could I or is there already a stock froyo for the SideKick. If there was, it would make my phone a heck of a lot faster. Just an idea. Post your thoughts.

This is in the works sort of... we have had this thought process. We want cyanogen but they won't develope for our phone. There's some good developers here making good progress though

[Q] Going from Jelly Bean to GingerBread

I need help im tired of jellybean. Theres too many things not working for me and i want to go back to GingerBread. I try to flash GingerBread roms but it just brings me back to CWM recovery. Is there a way to go back or im stuck on jellybean. I even tried to flash an Icecream Sandwich rom but it just brings me back to CWM recovery. My recovery is 6.0.2.8.
You probably should just one-click to stock and start from there.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
I don't think you can downgrade from an mtd ROM if you were using one. I think you will have to return to the stock 2.3.6 first, and then flash another ROM if you would like.
I'm using this to create my answer. http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S/SGH-T959V/Installing_a_ROM
When ever I try to flash gingerbread it says my phone is the galaxymtd or something like that but I know my phone is the galaxy s 4g

That means you were using an MTD ROM before, so you have to restore to stock. There's an easy way to do with the Heimdall One-Click
