(survey) Bug free ICS - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

All those users who have a bug free experience (I mean as if it was an official Samsung update) with ICS, kindly post here so that we all can know that actually how many people are satisfied with this leaked rom.
Thanks in advance!

I am using my custom ROM (made from the leaked one). Flash thru normal CWM flash zip process. No problems so far (touch wood...) :good:

I hadn't any problems so far.. Problems that i got in GB is gone (unexpected shutdown after ending phone call and screen turning on with no reason)

I have not had any major problems so far.
Battery is better. I feel it charges faster too.
Wifi and Gprs both working good.
Auto and manual brightness control working good.
Only compliant, dont know if it is a coincidence, i had friends tell me that my number was coming switched of on a couple of occasions although I was always on the network.
Wish to thank this wonderful forum for the step by step guide

@ all of the above
I request you'll to post the screenshot of the info displayed by the 'eMMC Brickbug app' (Download it from Play store and run it), so that we can understand which emmc chips & their firmware versions are safe to flash ICS on.
BTW I've contacted a few devs of other Samsung Devices like Epic4G Touch, Galaxy S2 / Note which had identified the this Superbrick bug. Let's hope they respond & could help us sail through these tricky waters.
Will update if I get a response. So just post the emmc Brickbug app's screenshots which could help in identifying the faulty chips.

no bugs faced so far....

i'm using HKTW2.3.6 on a ATT kernel, nothing wrong with this.
but dont know it work on 4.0
I have flashed this package w/ the fastboot script inside.
The brand new 4.0 system is very smooth and it's very user friendly.
However there are tiny bugs found that may affect the daily use (call recording), but battery stats and other issues can be ignore for now.

Are you on AT&T?
If you are I would not even attempt it. Otherwise it depends on which version of the Atrix2 that actually have. There are a few different ones, even just the MB865 had 3 versions and then there is the ME865.
Again if you are on AT&T and in the US, don't even think about it.
Just wait, the official ICS will be out in a few weeks. It is not all that much different from GB, I have been running the official update on my XOOM for over a month now, and it really is the same ole android that we know and love, there are are few minor tweaks, and there is some more transparent bits, but otherwise it is really not as much of a change as I had hoped for.
I am in the us and on AT&T so ill just wait the few weeks and hope ICS is delivered

I know USB is playing major part in whole package of ROM. so, accidentally in hassle, we become panic.

Thanks to you and our team of CM 10 devs for making it happen !
Now the wait is only for camera & bluetooth to be functional.
Once that's done, we all can help in debugging and making CM 10 and inturn it's derivatives stable. Hope that comes time comes soon & if possible do help us in getting those 2 features functional.
Cheers !

Is it usable on the current cm-based version? If so, then it's a good possibility it will/can work in aospa. If not, then don't count on it... (Sorry, don't have one, and don't recall the status of it on the cm10-based roms)
I'll have to give it a try this weekend. I'll flash one of the current offerings for cm and report back.

In an attempt to move the PA 3.0 speculations, questions, and offers to test to this thread...
I was running it all day yesterday, and I am surprised at how relatively well it runs on our phone - I mean we are pushing the envelope here running JB 4.2.2 on the old ICS kernel, and trying to deal with Moto's closed-source/lockdown.
One major issue I am working out is the sdcard not being recognized - should be an easy fix, but I just can't pinpoint it yet (and I took a break from it last night and went to bed early - or normal time - for once). But that sdcard issue is keeping me from testing things like camera and screenshot, etc.. So, until I work that out I will not be handing out any test copies. One other trusted person/dev has access to it, and will hopefully be giving me a hand ( you know who you are)... And I didn't want to bother Jim with it, but if he has some spare time and interest, I will make it available to him as well (especially since I think he got my Deep Thought reference in the OP ).
Besides the sdcard, there is no hwcomposer like in cm10.1 - so, it's got that weird display that's really noticeable when scrolling - and I am not sure that that will ever work properly for us..

Wondering, is this flashable via Odin and would it then be okay to flash back if needed via Odin also?
Just wanted to clarify that because it's technically stock firmware if it increased the flash counter or not

It's a CWM/TWRP flashable package. Don't worry too much about the counter crap. The only time you should ever bother about that is if you have to send your device in.

To clearify mine isn't a rom, its an installable deodex package that deodexes your current rom! So its more a mod.
Are they completely stable with everything working? This will be my first Sammy root/flash. Been holding out for the Google experience is it worth flashing now or waiting a bit for bugs to get ironed out

One thing I didn't like about JanJan version is that there are a number of things we need to flash to make it work.

Oh yessss
But I don't think I'll be flashing of these.
I like the features of TouchWiz, and everything looks great thanks to master Vertumus
I've flashed two separate ROMs so far, and both are completely smooth except for one problem: I can't get mobile data to work.
Wifi works great, and when I'm connected through wifi the signal bars in the status bar turn blue. But as soon as I deactivate wifi, the signals turn grey and all Internet capabilities are lost. So, naturally, as soon as I'm outside of wifi range I can't use the Internet.
I'm still able to send messages and make phone calls.
Could this be a problem with the kTweaker kernel? I'm with Telstra in Australia.
Thanks

Cool thanks it's always fun to get a new rom. If anyone flashes this coming from CM10.2 official let me know how it went. Until my desire to flash comes along and I try it myself.
ROM link is down :/

This ROM is very smooth, nice work dev! Gonna go back to Jelly Beans though. I have found that CM10 is to basic for my needs.

How's it running? This thread got quiet quickly. That's either good or bad and it has me curious.

The ROM has been running great on the AT&T side, my friend has been running the d2vzw release and only had an issue with focal, like every other ROM right now.

That was like the one big thing that made me go back to TW based Roms was the camera volume thing. I got two little kids, gotta capture the moments. Thank you for reassuring me!! Really appreciate it Downloading now!!
Another question: I don't use bluetooth much at all but I DO use NFC to transfer pics I take with my phone to my tablet & my wife's phone. Does NFC function ok on this Rom?
