I flashed to the latest build of CM10 for the HOX... because Im a new user, I can't post to that forum yet... I'm sure I'd get my question answered there...
But I'm stuck here.
Here are my APN settings.

Is my problem the APN?
Any other HOX CM10 beta users having this issue?
FIXED!
But after flashing a Sense ROM pre 4.04 - I got LTE to work.
Yay! Looks like that's what did the trick. and I also just left the APN as it was in the newest build of CM10
1. Boot into recovery

If you flashed CM10 you shouldn't be seeing "MMS protocol" setting when adding the APN. One question did you dial *#*#4636#*#* and selected LTE,GSM,CDMA only option after you added the APN?

Great! And if you want to make it permanent reboot into recovery and make a backup of your setup. Wipe everything minus system. Then flash a sense ROM wait for it to acquire lte and reboot to recovery again do a factory reset only and restore the backup of cm10 and you should have lte even after you reboot.

Hi everybody!
I just flashed my ROM with the latest Cyanogen 4.1.10.1
Problem : I don't have 3G anymore with this ROM. I tested also the 4.0.4 (stable), same issue.
I have a HTC Magic 32B ("with Google"), on the Swisscom (Switzerland) network.
Any idea? Thank you!
Mine is ok mabey your apn settings have been wiped, mine are apn = internet, username = wap, password = wap.
Although I cant send MMS but I think thats something different
Oh and i am on Vodafone UK
Thank you for your quick answer.
You think the APN has been wiped ? Why only me ?
Is there a way to manually configure those values ? I mean, without asking my operator for a configuration-SMS.
Or maybe Cyanogen's ROM doesn't include the APN setting for your provider at all.
To change it, go to Settings > Wireless controls > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.

Many thanks, it's working!
There is the informations of the 2 APN, in case of a guy like me had the same issue :
Name : Swisscom
APN : grps.swisscom.ch
MMSC : null
MCC : 228
MNC : 01
Type APN : default
Name : Swisscom-MMS
APN : event.swisscom.ch
MMSC : http://mms.natel.ch:8079
Proxy MMS : 192.168.210.2
Port MMS : 8080
MCC : 228
MNC : 01
Type APN : mms
I just sucessfully rooted and unlocked my device! Well I think I rooted it... I have the superuser icon, but that doesn't necessarilly mean i rooted it correct?
On another important note, I now need to change the APN setting so that my data service works with my provider right? I have the APN "ideasclaro.com.do" Not sure exactly how to change it though...
Everyone has been super helpful since i first joined the forums, thanks for all the help!
Found a link that had this information is is similar to what i was trying to use earlier, but was not working. The new info worked for me.
Name: CLARO
APN: internet.ideasclaro.com.do
Proxy: blank
Port: blank
Username: blank
Password: blank
Server: blank
MMSC: blank
MMS Proxy: blank
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 370
MNC: 02
APN Type: blank
I did it this way and it worked, but i hadn't changed the MMS port to 8080, seemed to work fine, then changed it to 8080 and still seems to work fine. Anyone know what that actually means?
Also, i get service bars, but no indication if i am using EDGE or 3g. Went into the setting where it says about About Phone, then to Status, then where it says Mobile network type it says "HSDPA" that would mean 3g yeah? Or is that just using some info that is preset?
Thanks eveyone!

UDATE: Uberamd has a nightly build system up now. Read on for the link to it!
Since uberamd stopped updating his semi-nightly builds of CyanogenMod 7 for Infuse back in November, I kind of took it upon myself to post updates to his thread. Well, it's up to 82 pages and it's getting pretty cluttered. As such, here's a new thread that I'll keep updated with CM7 builds for Infuse.
Now, the most important thing I want everybody to remember is that LinuxBozo is the man when it comes to CM7 for the Infuse. Uberamd is the man behind the nightly compiles and build system. Credit for development should go to them and other Infuse developers, as well as to the CyanogenMod developers.
I've been using CM7 on my phone for months now, and I can say that it's completely worthy of being a daily driver for me. The only thing that doesn't work fully is Bluetooth, and since that's mostly just the audio stuff (which I don't use anyway), I consider this to be a complete ROM. Your mileage and needs will, of course, vary. Having said that, keep in mind this is NOT an official CM7 build.
Directions for flashing (shamelessly copied from uberamd's post):
Ensure you have both root and CWM. See the reference post if you do not have both of these.
Copy ROM .ZIP to SD card
Shut phone off. Hold Vol Up + Vol Down and Power on device
Wipe Data and Cache (Wiping data will remove your installed applications and settings. You have been warned!)
Flash CM7 zip
Reboot. You will get stuck at Samsung screen. This is normal.
Pull battery, and reboot into recovery (Hold: VOL+ VOL- Power)
You should now be in ORANGE -OR- BLUE CWM
Go to "mounts and storage"
Select format /system
Reflash CM7 zip
Don't forget Google Apps as well. You can get the gapps easily using Rom Manger -> Download ROM -> Scroll down to Google Apps). Google Apps download link is also at the bottom of this post
Reboot into CM7 goodness, made possible by LinuxBozo
Please remember that I am only compiling and uploading this ROM. For changes to CyanogenMod, view the changelog or LinuxBozo's CM7 source post. PLEASE search that thread and this one before posting. There are a great many questions and answers at both places, and odds are your question has already been answered. Searching is your friend, and your responsibility!
Every time you flash an update, you will have to flash Google Apps. I recommend keeping this on your SD card at all times so you can just flash it after you flash an update.
Nightly Builds: http://stevemorrissey.com/android/roms/infuse4g/CM7/
Google Apps: http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
Google Apps Mirror: http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
SD Card Settings:
By default CM7 will mount your internal SD card as /emmc and the external SD card as /mnt/sdcard. Since this is not how any other ROM works, and since it's probably not the preferred behavior, you will likely want to change this. You do so by going into the CyanogenMod settings under Application and checking the "Use internal storage" box.
Single APN Settings:
I got this from a thread in general a while back, and it's always worked perfectly for me. This will keep your data connection from bouncing in and out and will also allow you to get MMS.

Do a fix permissions through CWM yet? Did you restore anything other than apps with Titanium Backup or anything? I know that's been known to cause problems in other CM builds.

Did you backup/restore your apps with TiBu? You have to be careful how you restore them or you will get FC's.

How do I just wipe the slate clean? Load CM7 onto a fresh system?
Any known fix at this point for the small MMS issue on TMOUS in ICS ROMs?
I think honestly this is the only thing holding me back from running an ICS ROM full-time. I've flashed a few and found that everything else worked to a degree that I could handle - EXCEPT that!
I noticed that there wasn't the issue in the Virtuous Inquisition ROM, but I'm leaning more towards the Sense side of things.
Thanks!

Ok ladies and gents this mms fix that steve007 posted on does work. This is what I did to get it to work.
You will have to start fresh.... install zip and place on sd card first.
1. Data factory reset
2. Install rom, DO NOT REBOOT
3. Install mms fix
4. Reboot ROM go through setup.
5. IMPORTANT...DO NOT RESTORE ANY PREVIOUS DATA
6. You are good to go normal MMS size.
AGAIN IF YOU RESTORE DATA FROM PREVIOUS NANDROID BACKUP THE FIX WILL REVERT YOU TO SMALL MMS. I did pick and choose what I wanted to restore from Titanium with no ill effect...

this did not work for me, this is the only issue im having with this ICS ROM everything else works great,
hey guys,
I'm currently running CM13 nightlies and want to do a clean install without flashing over my current setup. is there any way i can retain my provisioning while flashing a new cm build? i tried wiping and installing a new nightly build. everything booted fine, but the phone was not provisioned. even after flashing mvno slayer, the phone wouldn't register to the network.
I have to flash back to stock and then flash cm if I want a fresh install?
Provisioning *should* persist through flashes... unless you're changing providers.
I was able to get my device provisioned for Sprint on stock when I used it, and then was able to flash any ROM I wanted. Never needed to go back to stock, but I always stayed on Sprint.

technically it's ringplus (updated title), but I don't think being an MVNO makes the process any different. So if I wiped and flashed a new CM build but couldn't get the phone to register, what can I do? I'm not following - was it working before, and the act of updating the ROM to a newer build of CM broke the provisioning?
Never heard of that before, but have you considered it's the update? Have you tried restoring a backup? You do have a backup...?

Yes, everything was working fine. I wipe, then flash a new build of CM, but it doesn't register with the network. Restoring my backup has everything working again. It's just that the rom has been quite sluggish and I wanted a fresh start. I don't know if it was always like this or because of an app. That's why I'm starting over

Just try to clean wipe the working ROM, see if that works.
If it does, I'd say that update of CM is the issue.
Did you ever find a solution? I am having the same problem. If I install the latest CM 13 the phone no longer connects to the cell network. Stupidly, I did not do any backup, so the only option I have to go back to the stock ROM. With the stock ROM the phone connects to to the network with no problem.

To answer your questions, I was running CM13 I can't find older builds of CM13 that work. The only ones I find are relatively new.
I managed to get voice to work. I still don't have data. These are the steps I took. I am not sure all of them are necessary. But at least now voice is working.
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Click on the 3 vertical dot menu on top right
Select Radio Band -> PCS (1900 MHZ)
Back button <|
Set Preferred Network Type to LTE/CDMA (auto PRL)
Back button <|
Back Button <|
Settings -> Cellular Network Settings ->Preferred Network Type -> CDMA+LTE/EVDO
Settings -> Cellular Network Settings->CDMA subscription -> NV
Reboot
---------- Post added at 05:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:44 AM ----------
OK, now I got 3G data.
I changed
Settings -> Cellular Network Settings ->Preferred Network Type -> CDMA/EVDO/GSM/WCDMA
Reboot
Now if I could only get 4G without losing voice I'd be all set. Little by little...

If I go to Settings -> Cellular Network Settings ->Access Point Names, I get a message that says "APN settings are not available for this user". Is that normal? I seem to remember I had a list of APNs.
I've got the exact same problem with the CM13 nightlies on Ting. I've tried a bunch of them all the way back to April and can't get LTE to work on any of them.
If I go back to the stock ROM, it works fine. If I go back to CM11, it works fine.
I don't know if its related or not, but in the SatStat app, it shows a bunch of dashes under LTE and some long numbers like 21474 83647. This line disappears and reappears every few seconds while the app is open.

If it works in CM11 but not CM13, then something changed... Please submit logs to the CM maintainer (radio logs will probably be necessary). Of course make sure the correct settings have been applied.

Following this procedure allowed me to use Voice, SMS MMS and internet (both 3G and 4G) on PAC-ROM and builds of Cyanogen Mod up to and including 12.1. I have not tried 13.
Code:
1. click "Mobile networks" to access the settings
2. Data enabled checked
3. Data Roaming unchecked
4. Battery Saving Mode unchecked
5. Set preferred network type to: CDMA+LTE/EvDo
6. System select - set roaming mode to Home Only
7. Set CDMA subscription to NV
8. Create a New APN with these values:
a. Name: Red Pocket
b. APN: n.r6.ispsn
c. Proxy: Not set
d. Port: Not set
e. Username: ##########@redpocket.sprintpcs.com
replace ########## with your red pocket mobile phone number
e. Password: Not set
f. Server: Not set
g. MMSC: http://mms.sprintpcs.com
h. MMS proxy: 68.28.31.7
i. MMS port: 80
j. MCC: 310
k. MNC: 120
l. Authentication type: Not set
m. APN type: default, mms
n. APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
o. APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6
p: Unspecified
q. MVNO type: None
r. MVNO value: Not set
s. save changes
9. Set the Red Pocket APN as your active one.
10. reboot
Net10 APN Settings?
I am giving you how I went from point A to B in this post. My next post will be the correct settings for my new Sprint mvno: Net10.
After getting voice, data, sms and mms working in the rooted stock ROM, I install the xposed framework for Android 4. Reboot
Open Play store and install "Hidden Android Settings" and "NoHiddenPasswords". NoHiddenPasswords is an xposed tool, but does not show up if you do a search in the xposed manager app. Open xposed and Enable NoHiddenPasswords. Reboot.
Back-up your tweaked Stock ROM with TWRP.
Install Cyanogen. When Cyanogen boots up, go to Settings-"Mobile Networks", my educated guess is that the settings for
Data enabled
Data Roaming unchecked
Battery Saving Mode unchecked
Preferred network type: CDMA+LTE/EvDo
System select - set roaming mode to Home Only
Set CDMA subscription to NV
I can at least confirm those work with the two mvno's I have used: Red Pocket & Net10.
The first thing I tried was to the same settings as I showed in my prior post.
I tried changing 8.e. to ##########@net10.sprintpcs.com. Then I tried ##########@sprintpcs.com. Neither of those worked, so I knew I needed to find the value using some tool in the Stock ROM. I googled Android APN settings app, and found "Hidden Android Secrets". It has a APN settings viewer. When I looked at the ones in my phone, I saw some password fields that it would not show me without the help of NoHiddenPasswords.
Then I used Notepad++ on my laptop to copy the information shown in each access point in the stock rom on my phone. I did a new tab for each access point.
It seemed pretty obvious that at least 8e would need changed.
I tried changing 8e to ##########@net10.sprintpcs.com
I then tried ##########@sprintpcs.com
Voice works & SMS worked, but no data nor MMS over 4g.
I notice that none of the access points in my stock ROM has any reference to n.r6.ispsn. There is one with an APN n.t9.ispsn. That is very similar so I changed 8.b. to that. Miracle, I now have LTE data!
Unfortunately, though, the MMS is till not working over LTE.
In my stock ROM, there is one and only one APN with APN Type: default, mms
BTW, there is no space after the comma in the stock ROM, so I changed that.
I merged its values into my APN.
This did not kill my data; so, I tried sending and receiving MMS. Tada, that's it.

To be clear, the username and password are not an empty / null string. They are the word "none" all lowercase letters...
