Pebble Blue is so much more classy imo. Also the white one has a known discoloration issue turning yellow due to overheating.
Imo Blue + Flip Cover = classy sex.

Pft let it turn yellow. I'll call VZW and get my warranty replacement. I pay for TEC for a reason!

Funny you say that... A friend of mine had the white and we made a trade. I'm torn on both.

I'd have preferred black. Or maybe an actual blue phone. It's kinda purple lol.

But a quick perusing of this forum will get you everything you need to have control.
This is my second andriod coming from BB and I don't know why I waited so long to switch. I liked my droid charge when I got it, liked it even more when I grew some sack and rooted.
The S3 blows the charge out of the water. I preordered becasue I had a upgrade to burn and wanted a decent phone that would last a while. I was a little upset when I heard of the locked bootloader but was amazed of the work done before I even had the phone in my hands. Now with the unlock the phone is truly ours.

Yeah I will see if I can get it replaced. Crap that's annoying

Contact them. They'll most likely need an IMEI number or serial..
You'll be fine. Do a titanium backup or nandroid backup and send it in.

Almost but the pattern looks too much like leaking fluid for me to think that. Also, I don't think LCD screens are effected by magnets like that. Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not about to start dropping magnets on this one..

Moisture....you dip it in the stool?
Did you happen to install screen protector with an included fluid? Same happen to my Inspire me when I got little too generous with the fluid on the screen. But then I left it in a spot next to my radiated heater inside a paperback for overnight and it dried off and completely went away.
Has there been any excess pressure on the screen? That's really weird. I'm curious now LOL

I think it might have been the screen cleaning apart I used.

Light Bleed

Anyone else have it this bad? Looks like I'm going back to Best Buy for a replacement unless this is normal. Yes that should be a black screen.

I get a little but I only notice it during startup. Otherwise it's not visible that I can tell. I'll pay more attention today.

I have some minor light bleed on the bottom and right hand sides (when in landscape), nut nowhere near the level of light bleed in your picture - I would return for a replacement.

I had that kind of bleed in my first device. Sent it back and got a great build unit with very nominal bleed. Definitely take it back.
If you don't like it take it back while you still can. Don't want to regret something you could of remedied. I have some light bleed on my lower corners but don't notice it at all, only during boot.

Called the Best Buy by my work and they have them in stock. Going during lunch to return for a new. I will update everyone on how the replacement looks.

[Q] Opened phone and this is what I saw...

I have a white galaxy s iii. around the bottom of the phone is pinkish. Both of the water sensors are intact and don't see any discoloration. What could be causing the pink around the case of the phone. I do have a Red otterbox but I never dropped it in water. Any ideas what could cause this?

How is the back cover? Cuz that looks like the dye came off of the Otterbox but that wouldn't make sense if the cover is always on. I have a blue GSIII and the insides are black so I can't really suggest much as far as cleaning it.

my girl friend has a blue one also and we looked at hers. and obviously hers was black also. i dont think there is any dye things inside the phone. but it kinda freaked me out. the back looks fine actually. its bothering me. Im sending it back because of issues. if they see something wrong are they going to charge me full price or insurance. i havent done anything to the phone but i know how shiesty vzw can be.

Idk about that man, I haven't actually returned a phone to Verizon before so that's open to interpretation. I would imagine you would be fine but the dye on the insides could be attributed as the cause of whatever issues you have in the eyes of Verizon.

Then again, they'd probably seen tons of them like that and will brush it off...

Can't decide which s6 to keep.

Got a new phone sent to me from Verizon, a gold one and it's perfect except the home button is loose and rattles when I softly tap it. My other s6 doesn't do this but my other s6 has a couple scratches on the aluminum and the screen isn't as bright/whites look more yellowish. This new one they sent me though, whites look much more white and more bright. Idk if I could get them to send me a 3rd new one. Both have very minimal pink tint on screen. Haven't had a chance to test out the battery on the new one they sent me but my original one always gets 5+ SOT. Any advice? I hate that's it's this hard to get a perfect s6.

You can see how much whiter/brighter whites are on the new one they sent me.

Tbh I'd send both back and get a 32gb white straight s6.
I'd send them both back. Some people on here don't seem to be bothered by the loose home button. Personally, it drove me mad and it felt cheap. I ended up getting the store to keep opening boxes until we found one without any problems. All of the S6's had the loose button, so I ended up with an S6 Edge.

You probably won't notice the tint unless you hold it next to another phone. Having said that, I would personally return the one with the loose home button because that would drive me nuts. Especially considering the rest of the phone is such an upgrade from Samsung's previous plastic phones.
The home button shouldn't be lose. Mine is solid. Return it if you can.
You'll notice most color hues disappear if you increase the brightness, that doesn't bug me at all, and most AMOLED displays have this problem in one way or another.

Well, I definitely have to decide between these 2 now because Verizon won't send me or a 3rd new phone. They said it would be a refurbished now. Lame. What bugs me more... Slightly more yellow whites and a couple scratches on bezel that a case hides but a perfect home button(but knowing they are there bugs me) or whiter whites, no scratches but a loose button.

Ya, black is looks good but the chrome looks ok too, kinda.
Definitely Chrome (unusual+classy+useful mirror+no scratched paint+less heat under the sun) [emoji4]
Will get the black one, to replace my Nexus 6P.
Pre-ordered the black one. None of the available pictures really show what either of them looks like as if seeing them in person. I was interested in the Chrome one at first because the pictures made it look good. But in reality, after reading several reviews from those who have held it in hand, it is basically like having mirrors on the front and back. Too distracting...too much "bling" for me. So even though the Deep See Black is certainly reflective it has to be better than the Chrome. Even the official Sony Mobile site makes them look more matt than highly reflective. Can't wait to see them in person.
Hardest decision I have to make in my life haha but leaning toward the black one cuz it looks like it shows a blue hue in the sunlight
I'll be getting the bronze pink for my Chinese girlfriend in Shanghai to replace a old LG phone
I'll go with black
Silver
black *
Black
Blaxk indeed
Is the black one painted, is scratches and dings along the side will show silver? That might be one benefit of the silver. Still debating....
I'll be putting a case on it, so not that bothered. I'll probably take the deep sea black because I don't want to keep seeing my reflection in the chrome bezel!
Chrome

Is black really black or is it dark blue? I find the name deep sea black a little confusing. ..

Went with the Chrome one. Ordered a clear very thin case for it. All the color look really nice. Difficult choice.
