No, I'm not sure. As stated in OP, tested only on p5113. However, it was a bad upload. Adding MD5 to OP. Next time be a little less of a ****, thanks!:good:

Installs as expected on a P5100. When exiting recovery "ROM may flash strock recovery on boot. Fix?" was a bit strange. Selecting NO reboots device. Maybe move that function to ADVANCED and not prompt each time when tryijng to reboot? Still nice work. I like the option to backup to external sdcard - never noticed if that was part of the previous clockwork recovery version 5. Nice feature nonetheless.
Thanks op, been waiting for this.
I installed gt-P5110 using Mobile Odin (from play market) - I just flashed the recovery partition. Appears to be working fine, although I have not flashed a rom or made any backups yet.
Question, is this ext4 touch recovery? If so will I be able to use the ext4 app?
Requests :
* HD touch recovery - would be nice
Thanks again for your work, appreciate it.
Few more questions:
* what's with the 'blobs' folder (within clockworkmod folder) ?
* Why does the size of 'blobs' folder increase after a backup is made?
* the actual backup folder is about 16mb, I'm assuming the remainder of the backup goes into the 'blobs' folder?
Hmm this a strange backup procedure, would be better off if all the backed files were kept in 1 location like in cmw5, rather than multiple folders. I'm going back to cmw5 for now
Sent from my GT-P5110 using xda app-developers app
+1 to the "blobs folder", and the recovery don´t backup all the folders in the internal sd, so if you delete any important folder in the internal sd by mistake that means you are screwed.
edit:I think it will be better if is configured like CWM 5 wt touch

usually when you compile a device for cm the resulting build also creates a recovery.img of the latest version of CWM (some tweaks maybe needed for unsupported devices) as it has most of the device specifics needed already, you can also build your own seperately on the CWM Recovery Build Server HERE

Seriously, reading about all the stuff in this has me excited and also overwhelmed. I think the sd card migration support for /0 is the killer feature though. If I'm switching between a TW and AOSP rom, that's needed, right? Otherwise the sd card won't be visible.
If you guys run into any problems let me know I've tried almost everything and it all seems OK.

I had an issue Restoring a backup that was made using this recovery. It backed up fine, but when I went to restore it later it made it about halfway through /Data and rebooted. Figured it might be a freak thing, but it did it multiple times with that backup as well as with a different backup. Had to clean flash to get up and running again. With the exception of that... Really nice work! I like it quite a bit.

I'm way late on this, but it was a backup made from that. Backed up PA to go to Clean ROM and when I went to restore PA it wouldn't boot. The weird thing is that I never got an error message. In the middle of restoring /data it just... Rebooted.

If i flash new rom, it will revert to the original vold.stab or stays on the flash vold.stab?
-Tried in N900 only (stock 4.4.2 rooted), but may work in other versions (backup first)
-Needs a rooted device
-I know the solution has been posted before, i only present the modified file as ready made, ready to apply for the specific model n900 that i have (tested working by me)
-Based on work from this forum and my personal experimentation with Es File Explorer
-Steps:
1-enable root access by Es File Explorer app
2-mount system as read write by Es File Explorer App
3-go to path system/etc/permissions and backup file platform.xml (copy to other location) or rename it
4-past the included file (modified) in the same previous path after unzipping it, it should contain xml extension not rar extension
5-long press on the file then properties and change permissions to rw-r-r root root
6-restart phone
7-done !!!
-Try making a folder in external sd by any third party app as Es File Explorer or Astro File Manager or so and see if it works !!!
-In case of any problems or if you want to return to previous setting simply restore your backup file or the (original) file attached here and restore permissions as rw-r-r root root and restart
-Included file in attachments (modified)
-Also included the original file without modifications drawn from my phone if you want to restore (original)
-Or if you have a custom recovery, you could try flashing the zip file in the second post of this thread, thanks for Dr.Ketan for making the file flashable

you can take backup of efs and modem partition via TWRP, it will be in .zip form..... so u can upload the zip file into any server like mediafire.com or gulfup.com

I was on 4.1.2 when I rooted my tab then I installed cyanogenmod nighties followed by paranoid android, crdroid and then Andi released his slim lp which I have been using after that so I have to wait till my tab charges to confirm the firmware version, for the recovery i am using twrp 2.4.6.0 I think
