Hi There,
Please forgive me I am a complete novice when it comes to Android phone.
I have a chinese Dual sim phone that I have routed with superoneclick. I have put clockworks recovery on it with rom manager as I was trying to create a copy of the ROM. I also installed Droid X Recovery Bootstrap, however in droid x I pressed the fix permission option and the phone started changing permissions everywhere and now my phone wont start. It keeps booting up in a loop and I cannot get to the recovery to wipe the memory and start again.

hi people ;P
I tried to upgrade phone with the latest One Touch Upgrade app. During the upgrade process, app froze and stuck.
After this, it can't boot, stuck in the alcatel boot animation. Tried almost everything: nandroid restore via fastboot (2 or 3 different backups), flashing stock roms posted on forum, nothing worked. Only thing changed is that now it has T-mobile boot animation.
I got clockwork recovery but can't enter it in any way. I managed somehow to enter it once from power off state but accidentally i didn't have any backup image on sd then. I can't manage to enter it again, no matter which buttons i press with power button.
I would be really grateful if someone know any solution for my problem.
Hi Guys
I hope someone can help as I am totally at my wits end!
I have spent hours looking through all the different posts on all the forums
I have a Chinese phone Star I-93 which is also called the Alps I-93, and appears to have the same software as the Haipai I9220.
It has the MTK6575, running ICS 4.0.3.
I rooted it with the MTK Droid Root and Tools V 2.21, from the Russian forum, which worked perfectly!
But yesterday the phones battery ran flat as I forgot to charge it, and on powering on it boot loops, ie I get the blue flying android then the green block android worm coming across then it just keeps revolving the android name.
I have gone into the android system recovery, and tried wipe data/factory reset…it still loops.
I then put the backup zip created when I rooted it onto the micro sd , renamed it update.zip, I then used “apply update from sd card” scrolled to its location but when it trys to install it I get Signature Verification Failed Installation Aborted.
I can still connect to the phone with the MTK Droid Root tool but only if I boot into Factory mode.
And Smart Flash tool will connect to the phone when it is off.
So I am at a total loss on what to try next, I was up to 3am last night trying every combination I could but still it boot loops.
If anyone can help me with this, and you ever come out to the Algarve for a holiday the beers are on me.
Phill
I searched everywhere on this forum and found somewhat similar problems but none as d\ifficult as mine. I have a Tmobile htc mytouch 4g slide and I attempted to root it tonight when I got kinda stuck. I was using MyTouch_4G_Slide_All-In-One_Kit_V1.0 by Hasoon 2000. I got CWM v 5.2.0.7 installed and attempted to install cyanogenmod from my sd card while in recovery mode. It installed successfully but when i restarted it got stuck on the boot up screen (I guess its also called the splashscreen). In order to get back to recovery mode i had to pull the battery. I tried formatting from the CWM menu in recovery and then re installed cyanogen but the same thing happened again. Then one of my family members came in and clicked on the install stock recovery button to see if that would help. So now I have stock recovery installed but also installed the not working cyanopgenmod. Now I cant get my computer to recognize my device to re install CWM. This is my first time rooting a device and I have no experience with development so please be patient with me. My computer recognizes it when i first enter recovery mode but then it says it was unplugged and my phone shows a picture of a phone with a red triangle and exclamation point. I am worried there is nothing i can do since doing a factory reset just results in a frozen splashscreen and my computer wont recognize it and i cant get in to recovery mode to install a different rom. Any help would be much appreciated
Hello all, first post and I really hope you can help. I have an unlocked HTC One, runnnig 4.2.1
Today I attempted to install Android Revolution 6.0 ROM
I downloaded the ROM, made a back up ON THE PHONE of my data, factory restored and then bootloaded and flashed the ROM
I went through the start-up ie choosing which Google options I required etc nd the phone reset to install but now is stuck in a loop. When I attach the phone to my PC it is not recognised. No matter what option I choose in bootmanager ie fastboot, recovery, factory reset etc it just gets stuck in boot loop and I cannot do ANYTHING. Major problems as I need my phone for work. Can anyone please please help I have searched and searched but really don't know what to do?
