I recently bought a few cases on Amazon, being only around 3 bucks a piece, I bought 4 different ones.
They all come on different dates:
First one: Transparent Smoke/Solid Black Gummy Cover For HTC Sensation 4G by MyBat
So far, it's great. a little flimsy on the sides, but its a TPU case so i was expecting that. Again, the rim around it is TPU while the center back is a transparent-graphite rubbery plastic. It feels good in the hands, but the seam where it changes materials feels a little inconsistent. There are multiple color schemes for this type of case.
Second one: Body Glove Icon Case for HTC Sensation 4G, Gray
This one is absolutely terrible, doesn't fit the phone and damages the back of it. DON'T BUY IT!
Third one: HTC SENSATION 4G / SENSATION XE GEL SKIN CASE - SOLID BLACK, WITH QUBITS-BRANDED MICROFIBER CLEANING CLOTH
This one is the runner up to the first one, the darker black part holds the phone tight, while the border makes it feel great. Definitely a buy.
Fourth one: TPU-Cases High Gloss Black Flexible [Revision 2] TPU Cover for HTC Sensation 4G (T-Mobile) [TPU-Cases Retail Packaging]
This one is also great, very simple, yet it hugs it well. Feels pretty good, but definitely a reason its only 6 bucks.
Thanks,
Lucas
How about some links or pictures?!
Fixed it! There's more cases now too!
I've never understood why people buy sexy smartphones, only to cover them up with cheap cases. But its for protection they say. Most of the time the cases end up wearing marks all over the phone from rubbing over time anyway.
Best $12 I ever spent was on a genuine HTC 'Meteor' soft leather slip. Protects the phone from dust while in pocket. And you still get to touch the sexy smartphone all over when in use.
But... Each to their own.

I don't recommend this one. Trying to send it back. Doesn't fit the phone at all.
I have a Ballistic SG series case. It's really durable, if you don't mind the chunky style, it will keep your phone very protected. It is worth the $39 I paid for it

I also purchased the fourth option and like it. The volume buttons are a bit less sensitive due to the design, but I do not use them terribly much so it's ok.
I also purchased "BoxWave HTC Sensation 4G DuoSuit - Slim-Fit Ultra Durable TPU Case with Stylish "S" Design on Back - HTC Sensation 4G Cases and Covers (Smoke Grey)" from Amazon and think it works/fits better than the above, however aesthetically, I prefer the solid/plain black.
i have the SENSATION XE GEL SKIN CASE - SOLID BLACK which i highly recommend, will protect the phone from scratches so no need to place it down carefully everytime. easy to put on and take off!
I like the colored tpu case, I currently using red...

Here are some pictures of the gel skin sold at Tmobile.
PRO'S: Case serves great protection and style as well.
The black color is really nice, compliments the color of the phone.
Its a silicone case, very flexible, that is textured. It is also really easy to install.
The bulk that it adds is very minimal.
CONS: One in particular is that if you like the ease of just pulling it out of your,
the whole case grabs onto the inside of your pocket, pulling the pocket inside-out.
OVERALL:: Overall, I recommend this case to anyone that is looking for some
great protection, with very little bulk adding to the phone.

that looks very nice, fit & finish is excellent!
how much was it and is it available internationally? definately want one....
Not bad, how much did that cost?
Around $17 plus tax but I bought it with some screen protectors so they gave me 20% off. Was about 14 dollars after discount.

I got one also yesterday. Fits great, feels good, easy to get off and on. I use it at home only. At work I keep it naked and sexy!
I also got the screen protectors. Clear type like I like and if put on correctly they adhere 100% no bubbles or air gaps.
The gel skin is a good case until otterbox decides to make a case for it. The screen protector is garbage. I had finger scratching on the screen protector before I left the store. But it will have to do until the zagg screens are out.

Found this original hTC case over at Expansys and the price is fairly good. Also looks like it is an identical color match with the phone battery cover; this is a major plus for a more stealth look!

Really nice find man. Ordering one right now, thanks!
I just got the T-mobile screen protectors. Not bad.
I had the rep at T-mobile put it on, figure if she screwed up she'd give me a free one or something. She had already done a few Sensations and I must say she did a good job. Better I know then if I tried it. There are just a few tiny bubbles that I think I can work out, not really noticeable. She did throw in an extra free one because she bad that she slightly scratched the protector trying to get one of the bubbles out. I can't even really see it. So overall a happy experience.
My Body Glove case is being sent to my home now - so that should be an all together different but interesting experience!
Here's a quick video I put up of the official T-Mobile gel case:

It's a pretty nice case, just very, very linty. :/
I ordered the PhantomSkinz Matt full body skin.
http://phantomskinz.com/htcsensation4g.aspx
Comes with 2 sets and the screen part also comes with 2 sets of Matt finish and Clear Gloss finish.
I use the glossy finish for the display. I think they have the best feel.

When I bought my sensation I also bought the body glove case with the belt clip but as most of you know the case was leaving indentations on the back cover. Body glove sent me a replacement but the new ones fits very loose.
So which case do you guys recommend I purchase to replace my body glove case? I prefer hard cases over the soft tpu type cases everybody likes. I also prefer that the case has some sort of rubber or leather type material on the back. I may consider the two piece slider cases if it looks nice.
So I'm open to any suggestions. I haven't seen many threads about hard cases. Please if you can post a picture as well

I ordered a set. They're snap on cases, and doesn't protect the top/bottom, also they're flimsy Just a nice looking colored mesh back cover.
I was given one of those cases (the black one) for free by the woman (in China) I bought the phone from.. I looked and saw that dude on eBay has sold 66 sets of 4 cases for $9.99 each and given free shipping to all. I figured he's made $500 from all this because the cases only cost 5RMB each (like $0.80).. good work to him.. damn I need to move to HK haha

Looove the tough cases by them.
Although I wanted something different because I spent a long time with one on my nexus one... time to change it up.
Was gonna go for Incipio's similar hybrid style but they dont have it yet for the sensation
Anyone know of a case like the case-mate tough case or otterbox but on a budget? Can't afford to buy a $30-$49 case right now but I want something with protection, not a tpu case.

I got one of these off ebay. For $1.79AUD delivered I am very happy. Pretty good quality really. Protects the front and back and It has all the mic holes too.
It comes with a front piece and and a back piece that clip together.
Iv used the ROCK case, nice and slips on the easiest.
I just ordered last week (and received yesterday) one of these cases for my Sensation: http://www.ebay.com/itm/110724543299?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Not too shabby. It fits nice and snug, holes seem to line up well (there are few minor misalignments, but nothing too horrendous). One thing I like quite a bit is that the buttons are much easier to press on this than the other TPU cases I've tried, they made the material pretty thin in those spots and the buttons react like there's nothing in the way at all.
Looks decent and a good price.
I think I still like the Incipio NGP better, but this is a good fit, looks good and the price is right.
So I can comfortably recommend it.
Edit: Just to follow-up with a couple of other little things I'm noticing. There are a few slightly sharp edges from the molding that might annoy some people, but they aren't too bad.
Also - the back of the case is a matte black finish and the edge that wraps around the front is glossy. I'd prefer it all be the same color, but I can live with it like this.
Noticed you mentioned the incipio ngp. I just received the case yesterday because a few people on this board mentioned how good it is.
Well the incipio is a very nice case. Probably the best tpu case you can get for the sensation. Only problem it has is that the volume and power buttons are difficult to press. People have mentioned that after a period of time it becomes easier.
But overall it is a very nice case you'll enjoy it when you get yours.

I already have the Incipio, and I agree on all points. It's about the best I've had. I just picked this one up out of curiosity.
Aside from the button difficulty, my only complaint about the Incipio (and this case too for that matter) is that the cutout for the USB is a little too small so come cables don't seat very easily.
OK didn't realize you had the ngp case already. It is a good case only wish it had a holster of some sort, I hate putting my phone in my pocket.
For now I'm using the seidio surface combo which gets the job done, but the case developed a crack by the power button.
Decided I will give the seidio active combo a try. I know people have mentioned it collecting lint and sometimes difficulty clipping in the holster, but I am a person who has to see for himself.

TPU Cases are like silicon covers, but more rigid. They stretch slightly to fit snuggly and are one piece.
Ok so ive had the blue/black Otterbox commuter now for a few weeks and I did like it at first but now im just sick of it, makes the phone a little to thick for how often i use it and just has gotten on my nerves, anyone able to recommend something with about the same protection maybe a little bit more thin?
also, ill probably ship this one off to someone when i get a replacment
Felt the same way with my commuter. From what I've red its the thinnest one of that type of case. The tridents look cooler, but myself I just got an incipio feather shine and I love it. Provides more drop protection than you would think, but looks way cool
Same protection? Get the Incipio Silicrylic case, looks tons better than the Otter box.
If you want a sleeker case overall, get the Seidio Surface case, with kickstand.
Sent from my sexy white HTC One X on T-Mobile
yeah i been eyeballing the seido....hows the grip on it?, if the commuter had grip i could deal with the thickness
Pretty good, not a glossy finish and the kickstand doesn't add a weird bump like with the Seidio Active. Lmk if you want pics comparing the normal Surface with the Surface kickstand.

sure
Had a Best Buy gift card so I grabbed that platinum series case/holster combo and I like it. Pretty protective and slimmer than the Commuter for sure.
I used to use the Commuter on all my iPhones, but the one for the One X is just too hard to get on and off for me. I wanted a slimmer case that didn't leave the camera lens hanging out the back (and I didn't want to break the bank either). I found this one on eBay and it's fantastic. And only $7.95, too. The seller ships super fast, too (from California to Kentucky in 2 days).

Incipio NGP here. I like the softer feel and the decent protection around the edges. The included screen protector is rather lousy, but you can use the coupon to get XtremeGuard for next to nothing. You will have to cut it down a bit to work well with the ngp and not lift at the edges.
i havent gotten mine yet for the One X but i ordered the Barely There case by Case Logic, i had it for my Inspire 4g and another for my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, cant wait to get mine for this phone, they are thing light and stay on, they arent going to protect from drops like the commuter but they will keep it from getting scratched to hell on the back.

Will not protect the lens cover at all. If you are worried about "scratching like hell" you might want something more substantial.
really cause the other two i have had were fine even the Inspire which had the lens that flared out like the HOX kinda sucks now ill look into another case maybe the incipio feather? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007ZT4UWI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 or this as from the pictures it looks like it helps with the lens.

I ordered both the feather and the ngp from Incipio. Sent the feather back to because the protection was too minimal. Love the ngp so far. Not too bulky not too flimsy. The provided screen protector sucks big time tho. Incipio has versions for both hox models make sure you get the right one. Order from Incipio direct, indirect same price

I am more worried about the side of the case being so flexible. Compared to my old HTC Sensation's otterbox case which was more rigid.
Apart from that, i like the case.
I dropped mine and cracked the screen, it was seriously the smallest drop ever for a phone and still broke. Most fragile phone I've ever had given how many other of my HTC's have been used like a football.
So once its fixed/replaced, I wont be taking a 2nd chance despite hating cases.
Thought about the Incipio feather Ultralight but based on the comments, sounds like it won't offer any decent protection. Might order the NGP Semi-Rigid Soft Shell Case instead. But from the photos, does the case sit over the buttons or are there cut outs?
What are the other options as far as minimal size but decent protection? I'll take my chances breaking it again before using some bulky ugly case!
HTC - NGP
Pretty sure there is only a single NGP that fits the international and AT&T version. The case covers the buttons but all are functional. I purchased the Nillkin Scub first which is very sleek but didn't offer a substantial lip around the screen. The NGP offers good protection without being bulky. Because it's designed for the international version the cutouts don't line up perfectly (microphone and speaker) but all the buttons and ports work fine. Had to make a small cut to get one of my power cords to fit.
Hello there, I'm looking for a nice all black matte type case for my phone (one s) and want one that'll cover up most buttons like the power and the back and the volume buttons but had some space for the headphone jack and mic, and itll fit good on my phone, now I now there's all types of cases but I'm looking for like mixture of a hardcase and silicone mixture but still keeping it a solid black color and it keeps the phone slim, or something similar to that but durable because its hard to find a good case.....and any and all suggestions are welcome

Theres enough space for the headphone jack and ports and Mic and power button its really nice, I like it so for right now this is my permanent case, and it wasn't a bad price for just 10 bucks plus a screen protector which ill probably use when my current one peels off but over all I enjoy this case until the other ones come in
