So I have a few rooted and overclocked devices, Samsung Vibrant, Galaxy Nexus, and Nexus 7 to name a few. I just recently rooted and confirmed my Haipai i9220 but there are two things I'm trying to figure out. It is a dual sim card and I'm currently on a tmobile3g plan. I put it in slot 1&2 and still only get edge speeds and no letter H, like in my galaxy nexus. Is one slot supposed to be 3G or are they both? Also, is something wrong with my apn settings, because I put it back in my galaxy nexus and H bar appears. Also, I'm trying to flash the 2 or 2.5gb file but I always get an error in clock work recovery. Is there any YouTube videos on how to increase the installation space? I feel a bit lost with foreign electronics. I'd like to continue to hack it and see what it's capable of. Since I'm a newbie I can't post in the proper forum until then.
I too would like some information on this, and am unable to post in the main thread due to not having sufficient post count. The main thread is also pretty big and difficult to follow.
I have rooted my device. I would now like to be able to have 2.5Gb data. I see there is a patch for this. Can this be applied to the stock rom? Or does a custom ROM need to be flashed? If a custom ROM is required first then which is the latest stable ROM with all features working?
Once I have the 2.5Gb set up I would also like to know how to back up my ROM to transfer to a new HaiPai i9220.
Anyone???

I got SGS + and I am not satisfied. No official update (2.3.5 only.). Here in the forum I have read and saw that there are very few good ROMs and each has a bug. Before I had the Samsung Nexus S I was super happy. The best programs I had on the Nexus was TeamGummy, CM9, WildestPixel and all were perfect with no bugs. And my question is how to make such a good rom for SGS +. I'm just a user and I'm not an expert to do a rom. Sorry for my bad English?
The problem is that we only have a few Dev's for Galaxy s Plus, because it's not very popular.
But now ontopic
I am running Simplistic Plus F2 on my galaxy s plus. Its very smooth and lite
Do you mean the Wifi Bug? Its because Samsung is not able to create a working driver :/

Thank you for your response. Should be the successor to the highly successful i9000 so I got it. I have not even looked at the forum as there Roms for SGS +, because I thought when I get it I'll be able to put the new ICS 4.0.4 without problems and bugs. But I was wrong.
My cell phone is not even root, but I'll do it and try to put a rom and see how it works.
And thinking about selling SGS +, so I buy another one.
So as I read the forums every rom SGS+ has a wifi or camera bag ... With the Samsung Nexus S had no bugs.
Do you know whether Samsung may launch a new official update for SGS + or someone else to be told if you have any information. Thank you.

SimplisticPlusF2 download now.
Can you briefly describe how to put F2 on my SGS+
?
- First root
- Put the rom on the sd card
- Telephone CMW
- Back up custom rom
- reboot
- Zip install form sd card
- Press F2 ok
- reboot
Thanks for your reply.
Sorry, didnt see your question until now :/
1. Flash FeaMod/CWM Rwcovery via Odin
2. Backup your Rom, if you want
3. Put Simplistic Zip File on Sd Card
4. Install via Cwm
5. Wipe everything with Cwm for best performance
I'm newly returned to android, I had a moto droid at launch and then a MyTouch 4G (both rooted, flashed ROMs all the time) and a nook color (also rooted). I took some time to explore other OS's and decided to try a Galaxy Tab 2.0 7". Long story short, I just traded my Lumia 900 for a white Skyrocket, installed the official ICS, and am not impressed. I was hoping for something closer to what I am running on my Tab. So, to the point, I don't want to be flashing ROM's all the time, I just want something stable and with usable battery life that is closer to to stock ICS or the flavor of touchwiz I'm using on my Tab. Which ROM would be best for me?
PS: Already flashed CWM Touch and SuperSU, then used ROM manager (I mentioned I had an original Moto Droid didn't I) to create a backup. So I'm all dressed up with nothing to flash!
No one can really tell you what works best as we all have different opinions of such. Read try and make the decision yourself. Thread locked
Hi Guys,
I am an IT person, but totally new to Android. I am having Samsung Galaxy S 4G (T959v) running GingerBread (2.3.6).
I had upgraded from Froyo to GingerBread using Kies mini... and since that I am facing a lot of issues running... like slow responsiveness, phone hangs, some times unable to make calls, very high RAM usage etc...
So to fix these issues, I am thinking to install custom ROM (Jelly Bean 4.3 - CyanogenMod 10.2). But I don't know how to do that.
What I read on thread is it first needs to ROOT the device, but I am not sure how to ROOT the device.
Please help me to ROOT the device in easy steps and install custom ROM.. (Off course without bricking my device )
Thanks.
Look at the second link in my signature. Instead of flashing the whole package just flash AntonX's kernel. Read the first couple of posts in the Heimdal thread and you will hopefully know what I am referring to.
From there, follow the directions in the OP of the ROM thread that you would like to flash. The OP will also tell you what works and does not work for that ROM.
I would suggest making a backup copy of your efs folder for the just in case..

Hi guys and gals,I have 3 tablets a samsung tab 2 with custom rom, also a tab 3 no mods roms and then i bought this proline product http://www.loot.co.za/product/proline-l10a1g-10-1-quad-core-tablet-with-3g-16gb-an/kkhm-2683-g220

Hi there. Like you , I too have a Proline H7516R quad core. I'm trying to flash it with a custom rom but can't find one that'll work. How far did you get with yours? Any help would really be appreciated coz it looks like there's no info out there on these prolines. Also do you know whether these models are rebranded and if so, from which make and model? Thanx man :good:
Hi!
First of all, I want to say thank you for this very helpful community! I love this place!
I've got a galaxy s8+ running 1 primary stock 7.0 touchwiz rom and 2 secondary dualbooted 7.1 roms (Lightrom and Batmanrom)
About a month ago, my primary rom didn't want to boot anymore. From googling, i understand that you will need to flash a new rom on top of your broken rom.
I'm familiar with the process, however... if I flash the exact same rom on top of the broken rom, will I lose my system app data? I.e text written samsung notes, browser data like history, bookmarks etc?
I couldn't find anything about this on the www . The information stored on that rom is of high importance to me...
Thanks in advance!
