CM's official developer for our device has posted another update! This one requires use of the unsecured bootload and does not use kexec.

With an unsecured bootloader we can flash any kernels in recovery so no use the one included in the original cm10 install.

Nice find. I just installed RocketMIUI when I shifted back to MIUI ROMs recently and it already has SNote working on it so I didn't even realize that this was an issue. lol

Is there any kernel that has oc and uv and can be used on the jb leaks?

No
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
xcrazy is correct, no touchwiz based kernels support such things. CM10 based kernels however DO support such things
The reason being we do not have samsungs source code to modify the kernel for said purposes.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
So.... After an official release from Samsung or Google.. Do they also release the source code? Or even with the official release and all the devs work their magic on the base rom.. We are limited kernel wise?

ah a misstake by me sry. You canĀ“t use a kernel from a other ROM. you have to use the cwm 7.2 kernel or write your own
I'm wondering if there are any AOSP ICS ROMS that are stable for the S3. Is there a version of CM like this? I'm looking because I've tried a bunch of Jelly Bean ROMS and they all have distortion over BT audio, while ICS doesn't. I'm running the latest CleanROM right now but I'd really like an AOSP ROM.
Thanks!

No...it still looks to me like the original question was about AOSP ICS for BT audio. Was LS 2.2 ICS? I've never ran the rom but I see its linked in the OP.
