Hi Im in search of a root for the ZTE OPTIK. I KNOW IT HAS BEEN DONE, BECAUSE I SEE DIFFERENT THREADS, and APPARENTLY THEY HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL.
The closest i have gotten to figuring it out is not even very close.
I KEEP GETTING STUCK AT ADB REBOOT BOOTLOADER
I have heard that it might be the drivers or something, but ive been sitting on my butt for 7 hours trying to do this.
I JUST KEEP GETTING STUCK AT A BLACK SCREEN ON THE ZTE OPTIK AND CMD SAY " WAITING FOR DEVICE" AFTER FASTBOOT BOOT [IMAGE].
IM ALSO RUNNING 3.2.1 HONEYCOMB (pretty sure)
(Things i've tried)
-New user acount
-Restoring optik to factory settings
-Different Laptop
-Lots of research
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello all, It's been awhile since I've been on.... A big while But things have changed a lot around and looks great, But on with my question. I have a M horse N9000W MTK6572, And recently tried a sys file restore using titanium backup and the process froze with a error stating that me deviceID had changed, Then the phone proceeded to reboot, But upon booting up it just stays on the android logo. Before this problem I was able to go into factory recovery as I only had the phone rooted but no custom recovery or firmware, And now no recovery using any button combo. I have asked a few on ebay if there jig or jtag would help but they all say not on the china clone as of yet. So is my phone a cool digital android desktop picture, Or is there a method someone knows
My pc nor mac recognize the device anymore either. Thanks in advance for any info or help
Hi,
I have searched and do not find information that is helpful.
With no recovery and no recognition from the computer, I'm afraid this is a hard brick.
Sorry, I know it is not what you wanted to hear. - support for almost any clone device is scarce at best.
Hello Users,
I've the following problem: A few days ago my about 3-year old Motorola RAZR HD XT925 (O2 Germany) stuck in using and I tried to restart it with holding "power" and "volume down". After that my phone seemed to boot but stuck at the pulsing "M"-Logo. Nothing happens. I do not have any experience with flashing smartphones and all this stuff so I started to read here and on other websides how I could solve my problem and I came up to this page here in the forum: [TUTORIAL] How to Flash Stock Motorola Fastboot files.
Tried to do everything like shown but I came up to the step where I start RSD Lite (tried v6.1.4 and v6.2.4) and my phone should be listed but it does not. ATB & Motorola USB Drivers are installed, but when I start the Utility the programm is searching for update but finds nothing. (I think it can't cause my phone can't get into mass-storage-mode without booting, or?) Fastbootmode seems ok, everything like it should be.
Can't figure out how I should get my phone shown in RSDLite.
So if anyone could help me I would be so thankful, cause I really love my RAZR and don't want to bury it! Additional needed information and/or pictures are no problem if needed!
Thanks in advantage!
(I apologize for any kind of grammar/spelling faults!)
Edith says: phone runs on Stock-Android (updated to 4.4.2).

My Z839 has become "Google Locked" how can I disable the FTP in order to somehow sign onto my Google account and get it back to normal? I've been able to get past the verification point but it just gets me into the phone I can't really do anything until I can take care of the actual lock. It says.it can't verify and I should try another account or try again in 24hrs this is the 3rs day of the 2nd week I've been trying to fix this some one please help, no rooted and no computer
The long story:
I'm a total noob in this subject. I don't even use my phone on a regular basis and I basically just got a smartphone like 2 months ago. At the rare cases when I used my phone (which is a huawei p7, if I'm correct) it was very noticeable and frustrating for me that I wasn't the administrator of it. I used linux and windows based computers throught out my whole life and it wasn't very comfortable for me to use an android... it just felt discusting how closed the OS was to me.
Soooo.... I tried to get rid of that annoying factor by rooting. And it went wrong... I watched a short youtube tutorial and tought it seemed fairly easy so I downloaded Kingo ROOT, connected my phone to my laptop and ran the root. The root completed, however my phone didn't turn off and restart nor during or after the root. So I decided to restart it miself and then I was stuck at the bootloop screen with the huawei logo. Then I tried to factory reset it and that didn't work either. Then tried to remove the root by connecting my phone in fastboot mode to my laptop but then my laptop didn't recognize my phone. I asked for help from a friend who said that I should ask for help here. I can't remove the back of my phone to remove the battery either because the huawei p7's back isnt detachable (Correct me if I'm wrong).
Any ideas?

Greetings and welcome to assist. There is a guide to rooting your device here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/general/guide-root-huawei-p7-t3311424
it appears that you may need to unlock your bootloader first.
There is a collection of firmwares here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/general/huawei-ascend-p7-sophia-l10-firmware-p7-t3281481
you should be able to return to stock with sp flashtools. Why not ask the experts in the P7 forum and they will guide you
Good Luck

Hiya. I'm very new to all this. My phone randomly stopped working and will not start beyond the Motorola logo. I can get it into some bios-looking option screens but nothing else.
I've never modified my phone not have I set it to debug or rooting or flashing or rom'd or anything. I've been searching all over and installed a adb tool thing and a driver that only seems to work when the phone is sitting on a "fastboot" screen.
Anyway.. I would REALLY like to recover all my pictures and messages and what not.
Cheers in advance.
