Here it is...the new GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk
Extract from zip and copy it to /system/app and overwrite the standard one. Reboot phone and voila, it's perfect.

Cool but the new market wont allow apps bigger than 20 or so mgbs to download.we have one dev that patched it a rom. Do you know if this is fixed for our phones? Its a cache issue

I got the same thing I get the error often with installing apps even though apps from unknown sources in settings is checked. i'm not sure what the issue is?

Haven't tested with large apps, but loving the red market to go with my red-themed everything else. Thanks!
To those who can't install: since market is a system app you can't just download/run the apk to install it. You want to replace Vending.apk in /system/apps. Either use root explorer or adb.

Has anyone confirmed whether or not these work and if we are able to install large apps/games from the market? If not, does anyone have a copy of the market.apk that I think gtg hacked to allow us to download large apps/games?

[PORTED] Samsung Galaxy S3 Task Manager

I saw that no one else had ported this so I decided to do it, just for kicks. There should be no problems, but if there are (I don't have an army of phones to test on, just 13) TRY COPYING TO SYSTEM/APP. If that doesn't work, post it and I'll see what I can do .

There is an issue when i try to exit active applications...they bounce back immediatly
It didn't install it normally so i copied it to system/app

Oh I am sorry..its the amazon one! I will upload the playstore version real soon..

Can you name what version of the game it work? Also is the way to apply it by extracting the zip file into TB folder then open the TB and restore data only? I've tried this and it doesn't work, hope you can help me ~ thank you

So our email is a version and some behind(understandable). I found this while looking for the GB AOSP Email.
Directions:
1. Use TiBu to uninstall the Email.apk that we have(version 2.3.something).
2. Reboot for good measures.
3.Click the new APK and choose install.

can you confirm which theme will/will not work with? I vaguely recall some themed e-mail apks not playing nicely.....

Not sure, I'm using BnB for [email protected] 3.1.
It sometimes doesn't display the email which then it crashes. I'm trying to find out why, and possibly another AOSP Email apk.
I've been spoiled with AOSP on the N7 and want some of the apps for this phone. Lol
