[APP] Working Swype

I woke up to jack hammers in my basement this morning so I wasn't in the greatest of moods. Now that I've had my coffee...

Completely revamped Swype, hopefully this doesn't need installer but anyways we no longer need hacked Note versions.

I noticed that Swype has some shady permissions such as call log monitoring and some other funky business. Anyways if you don't like Swype constantly knowing what you're up to them check this free app out.

I can't believe I never used this before, noticed maps is constantly checking in, well not anymore you don't. GET YOUR TINFOIL HATS!

FYI - Touchpal Keyboard also works as swype

Swype has had a nasty bug where it would appear tiny and when "fixed" by using the landscape fix, it would be tiny. This is normal sized after being "fixed"

It's the actual keyboard, no installer necessary. You might get a check saying will expire in two days, just ignore it. Another notification saying all up to date should appear after. If not don't worry it'll still work.

How do we get the new version to look how it should? All the screens I've seen show a white/light-grey (holo-light) keyboard, mine's still dark-grey/blue like the older versions.

No worries,
I have yet to try out said ROM, I tried Bean's ROM first and I ran Synergy on the Bolt. Heard nothing but good things about your ROM though. Will to take it for a spin and a theming make over.

I just posted a preview build of DH Rises for Synergy do a nandroid and enjoy. I'm off to bed. I just flashed it so you know it boots.

I know it's not in the battery..but the phone has 1% increments built in that you can turn on through settings. I believe it's under display.

Swype beta(with keyboard themes)!!!!

So I always wanted to change the keyboard color in stock ICS and was about to get into editing xmls and stuff when I came across this beta version of Swype.and man is it good.the speed is just amazing and the best part now I can customize it ie theming and stuff there are already some 6-7 themes included.here's a preview of the mercury theme(black).loving it!!!
If you want it just go here and register or login into a Swype account download the installer which will guide you through a few simple steps and then you'll have the latest most amazing Swype.

I think swype + hinglish dictionary is a dream come true for us.. i used to add so many words but then there was always this limit.. anyways.. another news is that Swiftkey is launching its swypelike Flow keyboard. You can register for a Beta.. http://www.swiftkey.net/flow/

Have you guys checked out Touchpal? Gives Swype an Swiftkey a run for their money.

Yeah have tried that the only problem i found in it was adding words to dictionary in Swype it's just one click that does the job while in flow you click once then a window pops up then click again to add the word.and no themes too i guess(didn't go that far so not sure).

hi. nice hardware mod...or better tuning on your one s. I use this method with all metallic htc's phone. Especially with htc sensation. Now I thouk the same things but, this phone you know has a problem about paint. In fact thanks to warrantly it is possible to send the phone to htc centre, so they can resolve the problem.
now with this mod....the do this again???

I was also thinking doing this to my one-s because of the chipping damage at the top of my phone (I did this to my sensation some time ago) but it is a hell of a job!

Looks to me pretty nice, although it remind me of my fridge lol how u do it?

I would try to get the red of the camera ring polished off aswell! looks great though. Gives me another excuse to not use a case.

I really like the front but not sure on the back, think it needs a different colour for the black bits.

It's awesome, but I wouldn't void my warranty for it.

Thankfully my one S hasn't shown any chipping issues (apart from the USB port edges), but when/if the top, sides or/and back do, then I will also do the same to my one S! Think it looks really good and I usually hate any mobile/tech. device that isn't black/grey

Hey that looks really cool. If I had the black when I would definitely do the same. I guess I could still do it with the blue if it eventually gets messed up enough. I cant see myself scratching up my beautiful finish.

Just Open up the .apk with 7Zip and repleace the Lockring.png with you're black one (has to be same size)
