I noticed that most of these apps strip s-voice out of their roms. is there any way to put it back?

Hi,
I heard of the HTC_IME keyboard was the best so I installed it but right after changing input method to IME the keyboard crashed right away. I couldn't change it back to an other keyboard so I restarted my phone. But after restart mu phone was reset, not the files gone but the homescreen etc. Plus the apps that where on my SD card are gone and some apps crash every time I start them, like whatsapp. Even after reinstalling the app. Anybody tips or solutions? What can I do best without losing everything? :S We (not custom)'re talking about a samsung galaxy s with froyo.
Call me crazy, but I always LOVED the Froyo keyboard. I tried installing it - LatinIME.apk - on my GS3, but the keyboard would just force close.
Is there any way to get the Froyo keyboard on the GS3?
I'm back to stock, unrooted Touchwiz. Was having horrible battery life on CM10.

Give me the apk you tried installing (PM).
Also, did you set the proper permissions for it? (Try fixing permissions in the recovery)
I was wondering if it was possible to get the new Google dialer app that comes with the stock rom that includes the Google caller ID on custom roms?
I'm running the cm11 nightly with PA gapps and the aosp dialer doesn't include caller id. I've looked around and I know that there are system apks people pulled and zips people made but the few I've tried haven't worked perfectly like I hoped. Like one I found in a tutorial somewhere included a system apk so I put it in the system folder changed permissions and all that good stuff without getting rid of the dialer I already have so when I start the phone back up I disable the first one, but the one I installed only works half way; I can search nearby businesses in the search bar like it should, but when I try to place a call it just crashes out and the call is still in progress, meaning sound is still coming out of the earpiece speaker and I can still talk, but there is nothing on the screen so there is no way to put on speaker phone, dial numbers, end the call, etc. There must be something in the original dialer apk that is required that the one I downloaded doesn't have. So I re enabled the original dialer, now taking and placing calls work again, but there are two phone icons for the two different apks in the app drawer now. I lived with it for a while but then when I updated the cm11 rom to the newest nightly it reset everything so I'll have to redo it every time I upgrade so I was checking to see if anyone knows how to totally just replace the original dialer to the one with caller ID with it working perfectly and no two different phone icons in the drawer.

Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for! I will test out immediately
Hi,
I'm really disappointed with the new hangouts app, especially that I can't use swipe gesture to navigate back to conversations list. It's really inconvenient using phone with one hand to hit top left corner or back button to get back to another conv, not mentioning removing convs/messages. On KitKat I uninstalled updates and installed 2.1 apk. Now on Stock lollipop with root I cannot do that, I've even removed hangouts from system apps but still cannot install older version and revert back system one (system restore is running now).
Do you have any idea how I could get Hangouts with working swiping to remove/ change conversation on Lollipop ?
So I got all wrapped up in the new TouchWiz Grace UX beta project. Specifically --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/note5/development/developer-base-stock-deodexed-touchwiz-t3400611
I downloaded to sd. Booted into recovery. Factory Wiped via TWRP and installed the ROM. While there are minor updates like the icons and a couple new apps, my settings, notification drawer etc did NOT change to the Grace UX. On top of that I've now lost the ability to make/receive calls. The phone and contact app are gone completely. Frustrated and disappointed, I wiped the phone again to revert back to stock and the issue is still here. What now?
I'm running 6.0.1 on jovi's Stock_Modified Kernel. Any thoughts?
