Is there any way to flash different lock screens on the Verizon galaxy s3 the reason i am asking is because even thought the boot loader is locked I was able to flash a different splash screen (original Samsung logo) so i was wondering is there a method similar to that with the lock screen or is it possible? I would really like to flash the galaxy nexus lock screen with short cut apps to my Verizon galaxy s3!!!

my Samsung galaxy core is turning on but it wont let me unlock my screen. can anyone help me please
Hi,
My wife changed her lock screen pattern, and forgot it, she does not want to lose her data, phone has not been rooted, not linked to a samsung account. Any suggestions on ways to bypass / resolve this issue, This is NOT a stolen phone. Spent hours on phone with tech support at verizon and samsung and they were unable to help.
Thanks,
Mendy
Hello. Recently I found a Samsung Galaxy S7 on the pavement. I handed it over to the police and they tried to find the owner of the phone. Unfortunately they couldn't find the owner and they contacted me and asked if I wanted the phone back, if not it will be recycled, so I thought why not (it is common in Sweden that if you find a lost phone and the police can't find the owner, they will offer the phone to you if you want it). When I got home and started the device and tried to get access to the phone it is locked by FRP. I assume that's why they couldn't find the owner. I have tried bypassing the FRP lock by numerous methods but nothing works. I've tried all of the tricks in the welcome screen to bypass but nothing works. When I try to flash the phone with odin to downgrade the phone it says it's blocked by FRP, I can't flash anything. Is there any way at all to bypass and use this phone? If not then I guess I'll just sell it for replaceable parts or maybe buy a broken S7 and replace what's needed to that phone from the one I found.
Any help/suggestion is much appreciated!
I have 3 Samsung Tab E(SM-T378V) tablets and 2 Samsung S6(SM-G920V), all from Verizon.
The tablets are google locked and the phones are samsung locked. They've all been reset without removing them.
Is there a way around this? I've tried quite a few methods. I believe the phones are on Android 7 and tablets as well.
I don't want to dial emergency numbers. I've tried putting a sim and using RealTerm, nothing happens.
Do I have paper weights or can I make use of them at all?

If the bootloader is locked, you will have to get it unlocked before flashing another firmware version.
If the bootloader is unlocked, you can flash a firmware for your device which is not OEM locked AFAIK. (Might be a little bit different for each device/model)
I personally never had a locked device. Maybe you can ask your old provider (Verizon) for an unlock code. If not possible, you have to search for OEM unlock for your devices and try your luck. That's the price you have to pay for such a "sponsored" device
Hey I recently bought a donor ACE for my current phone (the board was fried) the phone is unlocked and I'm wondering how I'd go about switching to a different carrier and changing the splash banner (bootloader?) to a different carrier.
The splash is controlled by logo bin
As for the carrier itself that's hard coded in utags and can't be changed but is rather unimportant.
Only potential issue would be if the imei is blacklisted or device is network locked to metro
Is changing the logo.bin a tricky thing to do?
