Hi,
I am on gingerbread now using the zeus build 6 ics themed rom...i want to flash jelly bean now..Do i have to flash ics first or can i go directlly...Plz help me with the link...Thanx a lot
Yes. You must be on a ICS ROM to flash to jelly bean. I was on uniporn. Go to uni thread to get flash instructions. Then go to which ever JB ROM you want and follow there instructions. I am now running Scotts cm10 build 8/11 with 7/26 gapps. I highly recommend it.

I have AOKP Milestone 6 installed in my NS. For moving to JB, what is the process?
Can I directly install 4.0.3 stoke from ROM Manager? And then flash the JB Update manually?

In the development section is CWM flashable version of JB OTA.
Full wipe/flash OTA .zip over aokp/done.
One of my friends asked me to update their Sensation to either ICS or Jelly Bean from Gingerbread. So I Unlocked the bootloader, turned S-Off, and rooted it. However when I tried to flash CM9, It froze on the Welcome screen after I picked my language. What could be causing this?
I have heard it could be a firmware problem, but I am usure what it could be and how to fix it. The H-Boot version is old at 1.18.
Also, are there any good stable Jelly Bean ROMs? I checked out the CM10, but the fact Chrome is broken in it sucks.
Hi there, I use Paranoid Android by Dragon korr. Its jelly bean. In my experience its been fast, smooth, and stable and has a great development ! I personality love it and had zero problems with it. All is working well. It has tons of customization and has proven to be a excellent daily ROM! We are on version 14 right now. I use kernel 3.0.51, which can be found on page 1. My battery life had been excellent. Wi-Fi works great! I'm running 3.33 firmware with it. You ought to give it a try and see what you think. For me, its been amazing and one of the best ROMs I've ever used. It has different modes you can use. I suggest you read the first page carefully. You can make your phone a tablet, or a phone-tablet hybrid , or just keep it phone view. Its a lot of fun trying out different modes and seeing which you like. A new kernel and new version (15) is coming soon . I highly recommend giving it a try and seeing what you think. Best wishes.

AFAIK, it is possible to update from ICS itself.
CM10 is an unofficial JB release actually apart from the stock.
Coz we have some unofficial CM9 or CM10 release for some models which don't have official ICS or JB..
So it is really possible to update from ICS to CM10 (JB) if your mobile model really has a CM10 release
Hit thanks rather than typing it

What did you do when you used titanium backup?it only restores apps and datas that could be compatible with your rom but may not affect installing roms..btw you said you tried flash it..you mean the cm10 or 10.1? When i flash those roms i didn't face failures unless the file is broken and redonwload it and followed what the dev instructs us to do and follow..if failure comes up you can ask questions in the thread.
