2ed what aré some apps that aré like sense apps

Camara
Friend stream for the Facebook button
The messaging wiget
Photo frame wiget
I think that's about it lol
But I ask cuz these are te things I like about sense but this no room for $h!t sucks and plus I like my cm7 with jellybean theme better
So thanks to anyone who can help me with this
Oh or has anyone made it these apps work on other roms

hi guys.i am new to xda.but I brought an gift to all the people who are using android 2.1 aka eclair.if you like the gallary in froyo there is a perfect way to use it on eclair.i ported the 3d gallary in froyo to eclair.but theres a main point to remember it works only if ur mobile supports multi touch otherwise it will be just like 3d gallary on 2.1.

doesn't work... tried to install and got message "application not installed". I'm using HTC Hero.
This gallery is not from Froyo, it is a dump from Nexus One ROM...
btw: run on Desire
it runs on my htc hero (cronos droid 1.7) though the Gallery3d icon isnt showing.
why didn't it worked on ur device.
it worked perfectly on my desire.

THis version of Gallery3D ROCKS! the only thing I personally would like fixed is the Gallery Icon itself. If that can be fixed, this will be the perfect Gallery 3D

because you would be confused between two gallary images will be same
I removed my other version, this is the only one I need, is there any way you could do an alternate version with the correct icon? I use ADW Launcher and with it I can have Icons without labels on my home screens, so the visual image is clutch.

hey guys despite of some bugs I hope all of u liked my app.i noticed that the open home,a home etc., home replacements which changes the icons of apps had recognized my froyo gallary app as the main app and changed the icon of my app.
so if you don't like the icon of my app then you should have open home a home etc .

alright then I will just have to try and figure out how to fix it myself, since it's the only thing that's out of place, I wouldn't even mind if say you inverted the gallery pic, but whatever that icon is, it's not a photo / graphics icon at all and that's what really annoys me.

Gallery3D Froyo Port
Ok people, since I personally didn't like the non descript icon for this version of Gallery3D I went about changing it, and for anyone who already has a version of Gallery, I went ahead and inverted the Icon for this one. I think it looks kind of cool, I hope you enjoy this little mod and please thank the original op, who made this possible. Camera does work with this one too. Just push it to /system/app.

Quite new in the android scene, just got my Galaxy S a few days ago . It's rooted and i've installed a new firmware, but i can't wait to get my hands on froyo. Very nice gallery, if it would only install...

Not working on my Hero either.
works on milestone 2.1. does anybody know what should happen, when you hit the camerabutton in the upper right corner, because the 3d gallery gets a fc just like the 2.1 ...?
I'm putting this out there, cuz I'm pretty sure everyone wants some sense widgets. I know JsChiSurf is like.... RIDICULOUSLY good at hacking things up and getting them working...so...if he, or anyone else wants to take a shot. I'd love to have the htc sense message widget (and even bookmarks widget) working on Non-Sense launchers. Is there anyway someone can
a) Create one from scratch that looks/acts just like the sense ones?
or
b) hack up the htc ones to work with launchers like...launcher pro, or helix, awd, etc.
I'd be willing to donate good money if someone could get this working....and I'm sure others would as well.
Post a reply if you'd be willing to donate...maybe then we'd generate more interest for devs to work on it.
The dev for launcher pro is working on recreating all of the sense widgets. I know its $2.99 for the plus version which allows you to get the extra widgets. In case you also want the number counts on the dailer/messages/gmail icons like Sense does, there is an app called SMS Unread Count.

Contrary to its name, you can make a widget for SMS, Gmail, and the Dialer. And bonus for you, for each widget you add you can choose the icon you want:
-"classic" aka 1.5 vanilla
-"eclair" aka 2.1 vanilla

I'll download lunch plus pro right now...I was looking around his website a few days ago because I heard someone say he could get sense widgets working (on this forum), but when I went to his site's forum, I saw that his most recent post said "sorry guys....there is no way to get sense widgets working". Hopefully his will be just as good.

Hey Gomorrah! Long time no talk. I just downloaded it, and it's pretty slick! I still like the way the sense one looks a little better...but this will definitely do!

A scrollable rss news widget which aggregates all feeds into a single stream, like the one included with sense would be amazing. Thats the only thing I miss since leaving sense.
I have an evo 4g, and i just flashed MIUI ROM 1.4.8 which is the newest one, i think, and was wondering if anyone out there can fill me in on the wireless tethering as well as the qik app doesn't seem to have video to video chat available? The camera doesn't seem to have all the control options as seen on a video before flashing the ROM, and i can't seem to get APP or a weather clock widget?
Can someone please help me that is familiar witht his, i don't know if i did something wrong, or what? I am about to go back to my original stock!
If you want Sense, I'd flash a Sense Rom. I'm personally running MIUI 1.4.1 on my Evo right now & I like it a lot, but I don't like Sense very much. If you didn't wipe everything, you're going to have problems. If there are features you know are in that version, but you can't find them, try asking on the MIUI forums. If you want a clock/weather widget, MIUI Weather is pretty good. You can get it in the Android Apps forum or over at MIUI-Dev (you have an app for their forums, it came with the rom).
Also know that there are two camera apps - the MIUI camera app, and the AOSP camera app. I'm not sure if the video recording is the same in both apps or if it's different.
Good luck figuring it out. But as I said, if you really like Sense then I'd stick with a Sense ROM. If you have any other questions about MIUI/Evo stuff, you can send me a pm. I'm always happy to help :]

Finally i make it. Try to overclock on sense 3.5 and my lovely sensation was going
in a endless shut down and reboot, shut down and reboot.
Lucky, i have made a back up of it...
but... for me was the right time to check out the "cyanogenmod" rom.
I have to say: this endless boot thing was the best wath happens to my sensation. i love it.
the only thing i dont like is the gallery from launcher pro.

From what I know the "Gallery" isn't from launcher and it's from AOSP itself.
and I don't think so, cause most sense stuff need the sense framework itself. Might be wrong though.
u cant cuz cm7 is asop and the gallery u want work with sense only.... i asked this question before in the mytouch 4g thread, thats the answer i got and its pretty much makes sense! yea i hate the asop gallery also i feel your pain!

Ok, thanx for the info. i know how to mod my pearl (with great support of course, all of you)... but i dont understand wath happens inside all of this files, numbers and codes... cause im just a user.., to customize my "mini dual-core computer with phone included"
i search but i dont find it...
maybe.., is there a gallery application out there looks like the sense gallery?

But why? Isn't cm7 gallery 3d? I can find a 2d gallery for you but I'm not sure if it works. Its from my g1.

First of all. Thanx for echo. and the second: i like quick performance. i dont need 3D animations and some wheird window animations.(sense 3.0 gallery was the best)animations re all disabled. minimalistic as possible. i need speed for my pearl. wanna work with my phone not play. animations and enabled graphical features need resources and i need the resources for my self.

Seriously bro? There is such a CLUSTERFUCK of this same question...use your index finger and SEARCH. CatyRom, Numas, Infused(has power button shutter)...all pretty damn stable native Infuse Roms.
