Bootloader - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

How can I get into my bootloader. I know its vol down and power but do you just hold until it comes up or is there something else to do after all the flashes from the cap buttons?

just do
adb reboot bootloader
it's easier

Hold pow+vol down until the screen turns on and then you can just let go of the power button but keep holding on to vol down until the bootloader shows up.

Easiest way. Click restart. After you hit restart hold volume and phone will not into boot loader

Spend the four bucks for SwiftKey. It is pretty amazing considering that they do not have electrodes implanted in my brain

[Q] Xoom 2 p/w locked.... Tear down?

Ok my xoom 2 has been password locked thanks to my 10 year old brother who doesn't know what the password is.... (oh yay) unfortunately usb debugging wasn't enabled so running any commands to hard reset my xoom is a no go.
I have searched and searched for the last few days with no success in finding a solution so i'm going to have to go beneath the hood and have a play around.
I already know how to tear down the xoom as I've already tried doing a battery pull.
Does anyone at all know anything about the internals that I could pull to wipe the device or return it to stock?
I really don't like the idea that I have spent a few hundred dollars on a pretty looking frisbee.... :-/

Alright I'll give it a few more goes I have heard it can be a bit tedious to get into by making the right timing to press the buttons.

Bootloader

I did the jb update and twrp recovery and root, not when I hold down Vol and power it goes to the bootloader screen instead of the 5s Vol up to recovery. Granted all I do is click Vol up on rck to get to recovery. Just wondering If this it's normal or is there something I did to cause this? & how can I change it?

Its normal. The jellybean update has a new boot loader in it that causes that. And as far as I know it can't be changed.

What did you do before this happened?
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
Nothing. Hit the power and it said goodbye. Its stock unrooted. Keeps flashing and will not go in download mode.

Does it turn on automatically when you insert the battery?
If it does, your power button is stuck.

Try pressing the volume up and power button at the same time.

Menu in Lollipop stock recovery

Hi everyone
I've been trying to access menu option in stock recovery without success.
Before Lollipop used to be Volume UP while Android robot was laying down but it doesn't work in Lollipop.
I've searched the forum but couldn't find any info.
Thanks

Just press simultaneously volume down, up and power button, 4 or 5 times.
Have you tried yourself?
