If so, which kind?
Trying to find one as transparent as possible. I was actually thinking of getting this and just cutting it (cause it is cheap).
http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=11212&cs_id=1084310&p_id=8336&seq=1&format=2
Personally, I wouldn't try cutting a screen protector in order to make it fit, especially when there are protectors specifically made for the TF700 that aren't much more.
I remember trying to cut one before and it was not easy - It ended up looking like crap - it seems that when you cut them, the edges sometimes don't stick as well.
You should be able to find TF700-specific protectors on Ebay for a few bucks.. If you are just looking for a clear protector (instead of anti-glare), they will all look just fine (you don't have to worry about transparency - they'll all be completely transparent).
Now, anti-glare is a different story - there are huge differences in quality that will affect the screen clarity. Usually, with anti-glare, you get what you pay for (but there are exceptions).

Avoid cutting to fit
Yeah I second not cutting to fit. The edges never seem to come out any good and it usually just looks really dodgy.
Transparency shouldn't be to much of an issue even with the cheap protectors. While there aren't many accessories around I am just going with some cheap protectors off ebay. Just upgrade later if you aren't satisfied.
Anyone using one they really like and could recommend?

I'm using Poetic Profilm. Pretty cheap and great quality. While it's actually a clear screen, I find it reduces glare significantly. It is also heaps better for fingerprints than the natural screen. I only got 1 bubble on the edge of the screen cause I missed a piece of dust when I was cleaning the screen... very easy to put on. All in all i'm very happy with the covers.

FYI - if you want to get that piece of dust out, here's a tip - use a piece of scotch tape to lift up the corner with the dist speck and then use another piece of scotch tape topick up the actual piece of dust. Then just lay the protector back down and the bubble should be gone.
I've used this method a few times and it works great...

I use the ACASE transparent 3-pack film. I had good experiences with them in the past. Their Film is 3-layer Japanese PET and it feels very nice to the touch and durable. I also got a screen protector included with a recent skinomi purchase but I am happy with my ACASE screen protector so I'll just keep that in storage.

between the ACASE, Poetic, and Skinomi - how do these all feel to touch? Are they rubbery like some of the smart phone protectors?
I want to go anti-glare and reduce finger prints but I don't want the yellowing effect or a rubbery to touch feel.
Appreciate the feedback all

Usually, with Anti-glare, it actually allows your finger to slide better than it would on the naked screen. That is certainly the case with any I've used (including the current Poetic anti-glares that I'm using). They give a much better finger glide than the glass screen - no rubbery effect at all.

What I'm trying to compare is the touch/feel/no-prints I have on my Matte screen protector but the downside is, it degrades the screen significantly. So I'm a bit more willing to deal with some prints to keep the screen as beautiful as possible.

There is no doubt that it degrades the screen quality, however, I still have mine on - so that says something (it doesn't degrade it to the point where it looks bad or anything). The pros outweigh the cons in my opinion - but it's a very "personal" decision that only you can make, to be honest...

Well, after a week or two of having the Poetic anti-glare protector on my TF700, I finally decided to remove it.... I was fine with it until I saw how nice the naked screen on my new Nexus 7 looked in comparison.
I must say, the anti-glare *did* ruin the TF700 display - it's such a beautiful display - I was wrong in keeping in "hidden" behind that anit-glare protector!!

Hi all,
My TF700 won't leave my home (I have a Nexus 7 for that) but I would like to still protect it with as little bulk as possible. If I do go out I'll put it in a protective pouch.
I know there are TPU / Silicone cases for the Prime but I believe the buttons are in different locations so I'm looking for protective skins that are designed specifically for the Infinity.
Thanks,
I'm looking for something like this as well. Would be even better if there was one that would work with a dock. Anyone have any recommendations?
None to my knowledge. Not sure if they were made for previous models, but if so you could cut the holes inbthw right places.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
I am also waiting for a silicone/rubber/TPU case to be made... don't much like the leather ones.
There were some made for the prime, with good feedback. Not sure how long it will take before we start seeing them for the tf700.

Oops, wrong thread, sorry.
Hopefully one shows up eventually
I've setup a Google Alert for tf700 tpu cases on ebay. Hopefully one shows up some day.
I'd love a TPU case for my TF700, and it's keyboard dock. It would make it indestructible!
Ok, maybe not... But then I really could stop worrying about it so much. For the time being though, I'm waiting on my Skinomi Carbon Fiber skins for both the TF700 and the dock to arrive.

No, it doesn't fit into the dock with the tpu-case on, you have to remove it or remove a part of the case.
Currently I'm using the same case desiged to fit a tf300 and cut some more holes (microHDMI, headphone, more space for miscrosd) into it.
The grip is very good. Compared to my nilkin cases (One X and Nexus 7), theses cases feel better, because of rough areas where you normaly hold your devices, this case is completely smooth.
I will update my impressions as soon i have the real tf700 case.

Maybe it will keep its stability, but currently i dont want to risk ruining my tpu-case, i need it to protect my tablet.
If usps & our custom authorities are fast i will have my case in about 2 weeks, if they're slow it can take 2 months or more.

Updated links to ebay with "smoke"-case.
They had a mistake in the description of the smoke-case, they wrote "tf300" instead of "tf700", now the description seems to be right.
I linked all available colors: blue, purple and smoke.
Currently i have their case for the tf300 with (ugly looking ) homemade cutouts in smoke, it's a transparent grey, so you can see the "asus" brand through the case.
It feels more like ruber then my nillkin cases, hard to describe the tactile feeling.
I got mine today. Purple of course =)

Has anyone used ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 Screen Protector + Full Body Skin for the TF700? If so, what is your opinion. I wanted to buy a screen protector for my TF700 but I am thinking about getting this instead.
Any other suggestions?
Used on my Galaxy Note.
If you use a hard point stylus, then stay away. I used on my note and it was great, except with the "S-Pen" it messes up and creates this weird almost bubble like look under the skin. This brand of SP is a wet install type. You get a little spray bottle, rubber squeege, and cloth along with the SP. Wet installs are very easy to apply, adjust, remove/reapply untill you get it right (as long as its still wet). It has a slight rubbery feel to it. I grew to prefer it, although some do not like it. This rubbery type texture helps keep it from sliding around when laid down on a center console or dash area of a vehicle and helps you keep from slipping and dropping your device. Expect the front and back pieces to be the only usable pieces, if it comes with any side pieces that are small, they never seem to stay. The company its self is great, many amazon vendors are total crap and are impossible to get decent service through. I love them and will probably get one for my TF700 eventually, but went with a regular clear already as they wernt available.
Chief Geek , thanks for the detailed reply. I forgot to mention that I am fimiliar with the product as I recently used screen protector from the same company for my Nexus 7 and I really like it. My question was more in regards to the quality/fit on TF700 specifically and also wanted to know if putting the full body skin have any issue with docking the tablet.

I'm using dark wood from Skinomi, my opinion, it's OK. didn't cover the edge fully, easy to install, nice and flat, almost impossible to have bubbles. You can peel it of and re apply about 10 times. After that, you need a hair dryer, set to warm and blow for a couple seconds for it to stick again. It came with a nice screen protector (wet type). The reason I said it's OK, because when I hold the 700, I felt the rough edge, kind of uncomfortable.
Edit: just did a full review (with pics) for the tablet and dock skinomi skins. Thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29614778#post29614778

There are reports on here from users that tried the TranSleeve Dual that say it doesn't fit that well, and that when using it with only the tablet it would slide out of the case. I've been considering getting a regular TranSleeve for when I'm using just the tablet sans dock, and putting this skin on it:

Then maybe just getting a netbook sleeve to store it all in the rest of the time.

Yea I saw these, very nice and thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately the "fabric" is still kinda similar to the leather ones I've seen and not really what I'm looking for. Someone else might find this useful though!
You guys have to keep in mind the design time between the two styles of cases. The leather "snap on" and "slide in" types start with the same chuck of cardboard and "leather" and get a couple slight fit mods and button cut outs to make it fit and their sole purpose is to cover the case. Tough cases such as gum drop, otted, seido, trident, and even silcon jackets have to be molded to fit exactly the right way to every curve. Leather slip ons have alot of room for sloppy fit where the molded type do not giving very little room wiggle room when it comes to testing for the right fit and overall tolerances. Every device I've seen comes with generic cases like folio and slip ons then comes the ones everyone wants.
The good news is GumDrop has informally announced via email that it will be making a case for our tabs, and it will be a water resistant case. Good stuff. And they are rather affordable. Check em out.

Nothing will compare to ipad for accessories, they have tons of options before its released. It takes time to develope these products and makers wait to see what the demand will be bfore sinking capitol. its a no brainer for the ipad and a stiff comptetition market so the faster the better. Hoping the R&D will be short on the GumDrop since they had cases for previous models.

At first glance: The case is very slim. When you snapped in the case, it is not obviously noticeable. If you really like the design of your Xperia Z, this case would maintain its beauty very well.
Docking your phone: You have to use a bit more force in order to dock since the case added a bit of thickness to your phone (just a bit more force, not really much).
Quality: Although the design is great, the quality does not follow. The backplate is not really flat, some areas pop out so you can feel that you device is partially curvy. The material looks fine but the strength is not so good. After using the case together with the dock for a week, all corners of the case are cracked (but the shape is still maintained)
Summary
Pros: thin, barely noticeable
Cons: curvy back, easily cracked
Great review! Question where can i get this? Thanks!
It seems fine, the only dockable case I've seen till now.
I've googled it and found it but it's over 20$ + shipping. It's a big expensive from my point of view for being. I've seen it at 27$ that is 20-21€ shipping included in shop.brando.com
Could you please tell us where you've gotten it it and how much it has cost?
Thanks!

Purchased from Brando. 27$ in total (shipping to Thailand)
Is it TPU or is it hard plastic? From the pictures it seems to be the hard plastic type, aka polycarbonate.

Oh, I can read the title too.
But if YOU read the review properly, he mentions that the disadvantage is that it can be CRACKED. I've been using TPU cases for my phones and I know if it's TPU, you can't 'crack' it.

It's TPU but it can crack. Imagine a one time use plastic cup. It can be teared. The casr crack the same way.

You're confusing TPU with styrofoam. You can not crack TPU ("excellent mechanical properties, combined with a rubber-like elasticity", just Google it) . So this case is clearly not TPU if it can crack.

Sorry guys. I just checked with the official website trinity.jp. It is made from Polypropylene not Polyurethane (TPU) so it was my false.
TPU is a kind of plastic anyway
I was considering getting this case, the cracking issue is putting me off now.
what did you think caused the cracks?

Couple days ago, I just break it into 2 pieces. I used another case then changed to +Simplism, right before I put on the case, I'd held the case with both of my hands then pushed the part that poped out. It then broke into 2 parts.
So I tried an experiment, I flicked a broken part with my fingers as hard as I could. The result? It cracked.
I assumed that Polypropylene that the case is made of has low elasticity.
I just ordered 2 new anyway. Ther is no choice for me. The only low-profile way to protect while docking is this case. Otherwise, you will have to buy Noreve flip case, but it is bulky.
Just fitted the black one fits nice and tight I suspect taking it off again may be a problem and with free screen protector as well not bad gives some protection the attraction is not having toll take it out to charge in the dock

I got the white one and personally, I wish I'd saved my money. I have a small air bubble across the back and I don't actually think it would protect my phone if I dropped it. Oh and it feels like your holding tissue paper.

IMHO this case is made to protect phone from scratches not from damages caused by dropps

anybody has try this case into a alternative chinise copy dock? the $10 dock? thank you
I would like to order this one, but I would also like to know how is with 3rd party docks. Iv'e got both models of 2rd party and I would also like to know if it is possible to order this kind of case to europe? I know it is possible to order from http://chuwajapanimports.wazala.com/, but it is really overpriced ($21 + $35 for shipping).
I've use this case for about a month, it cracked after 2 drops to smooth marble floor around 1 meter height. phone was protected from scratch.

Just to let you guys know that I got an invisible shield for the S4 (front only) a couple of days before launch.
fitment is perfect and covers the screen up to the point of the sensors at the top and home button. I initially wanted the one allowing a skin but given that I use the cover with the hole, this was pointless.
Also the brodit car holder I am using clips from the top where the shield does not cover so it's perfect.
Not much else to say but if anyone was after one, it's not a bad purchase. Obviously still comes with the 25 year warranty on it too.
As for feeling, yes bare screen is lovely but I personally prefer the slightly matt/textured surface as it helps type and grip better than the slippy glass surface.
I have taken a pic but you can't really see anything so I won't bother uploading unless someone does want to see.

I also picked one up. Something that should be noted is that they sell different versions. The one I picked up was the HD which was supposed to be smoother than the regular one. It isnt as smooth as glass by any means but it is considerably nicer than the older plastic ones. There was also a privacy version to prevent shoulder surfing.
I will eventually migrate over to the tempered glass I think. Waiting to hear some reviews on a good sticking one, I hate bubbles or anything of the sort.
Ah yes good point
I think there are about 4 or 5 variants. I have to say and please don't let it be an insult to yours but HD had the worst of reviews. While it was more "glassy" like, it was also more thinner and was very easy to scratch.
I went for the original and so far despite a couple of rubbings at the gym, it's still mark-free.

never did like the clarity of these things. they kind of make the screen look like it has ripples. i like the regular old screen protectors.
that being said xtremeguard.com has essentially the same product for like 80 cents each i think with the promo code 'coaster'
i bought some as backups cause they're so cheap
I just noticed after my last post that I do have a bunch of soft scratches in the screen protector. None that touched the glass of the phone but still you can see them under the right light.

This is called Orange Peel and Zagg is infamous for it.
I got this sp on launch and now a few days later it looks like I've had this phone for 2 years. So many small dents.
My spigen screen protector and case come tomorrow, cant wait to rip this crap off.

I bought the invisible shield extreme. There is absolutely zero orange peel on this model. It is also crystal clear. I had a few people who hate any screen protectors comment on the clarity. It really looks and feels like there is no screen protector. The extreme is a bit thicker, but it does not effect any aspect of how the touch screen functions.
I owned the original invisible shield on my last 2 phones. I will say that the orange peel was pretty ugly. They did work as advertised though...

Do you think the Extreme is worth getting over the HD? And does the Extreme work with a case?

I can't comment on the HD. It is worth getting over the original. It does work with a case. I just got my Seidio Active yesterday, works great!

Thanks. Well.... I guess I'll have to decide on my own whether to pay the extra $10 for the EXTREME. Wish it was cheaper.
Well, I ended up getting both and gotta say the Extreme is definitely worth it for a couple of reasons:
1. It is thicker so there is no worry about cases pushing up on it.
2. It comes out smoother and clearer without any air bubbles, but you have to wait longer for it to even itself out.
3. Easier to apply, especially with the rest of them attached to the silly new packaging.
4. More protection obviously.
Zagg hd all the way! It looks and feels like nothing is there. No orange peel rubber feel. Plus the same easy wet install.
I got the zagg extreme for $15.
