Hi,
Im using Vipers at the moment, and i think it's very cool. But i would like to translate the "Quicksettings" and stuff like this to German language.
I wanted to ask, if this is possible, a noob could do this?
Thanks

Hi everyone! This is my first time using a Treo. But it is in spanish and I need to change it to WM6 (or newer) in English.
Can anyone please tell me how to do it (step by step)?
THANKS!
i think there is lot of others topics, where you can find help...example: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Cheetah_Upgrade
Yeah, thanks! The thing is none of them have what I need to know. What I need is to upgrade to 6.1 and at the same time change from spanish to english, so I don´t know if just flashing the ROM is all I need. Thanks!
you are welcome

So you're saying that non of the roms has a sort of language pack, the language you can choose from.
It's not like start>settings>system>regional settings where you can choose from.
I've looked around in this forum and saw a rom cooker, it's just a thought but, is it posible to open a rom and change the language and recook it????
Cause i've exedently downloaded an "all languagepack" cause i was interested in the dutch languagepack (0413), but don't know how to install it (without cooking).
Thought you could install it like a .cab file, but not....
And me not being a chef with cooking experience....

i was just wondering with all the ROM dumps available today cant someone build a "official" ROM, because i really would like to change the language of my ROM since it is in spanish and it doesnt have telenav and voice control
Nope, all of the roms are digitally signed. If you change ANYTHING in the rom, the signature fails and it won't flash.
that is sad, thanks for the info

You can try for Custom Locale (I belive is in the market)
I tried, but it doesnt change the language of the system itself.
I want the whole phone UI changed to dutch language.
So i think i need to install some language pack (just like in windows or any other OS).
Thanks for help.
Then I don't know... I know there might be some file insdie the roms that allows you to use your language, but I don't know what file should be... Try to contact with a modder...

I didn't have any support for Danish language on the system itself, but that app fixed it for me
Hi everybody! I'm desperate and I need your help! I'm Italian, and I bought a T-Mobile G2x last week. I knew the original stock ROM wouldn't have italian lenaguage, but I thought to change it with a cooked one that usually are multilanguage. WRONG! Unfortunately for me I discovered that the only custom ROM with the italian language out there is the Cyanogen 7, but I'm not so confortable with it. So the question is : Is there a way to flash italian language in another custom or stock ROM different from cyanogen 7?
I'm going to translate everything by myself if there is a way to flash the thing and get it to work into the ROM. I will really appreciate some help. Thanks!
No. You would need to decompile and edit the framework and recompile it. Not wasy to do. Find a rom you like with Italian language already built in.
Theoretically any custom ROM based off cm7 would have Italian too. Eaglesblood, miui, our any other 2.3.7 are all based off the cm7 source.

Hey guys i bought a HTC explorer for my mom. But she likes her phone in turkish language instead of dutch. Is it possible to flash a zip file or something.
Btw I know you could flash a costum rom but i would like to keep stock rom if possible. She likes the sense theme
Stock should have Turkish language.
If it doesn't, then I'm afraid your only choice is to use an AOSP-built ROM like CyanogenMod or AOKP, or wait for a stable Sense 4/4.1.
