Am I reading this right, you can 'buy it now' for only $6.49 USD? That seems a little low to me for something like this. It may be filled with ionized-lithium prescription knock off tablets...
What about the back cover ? it remains same size ?

I would imagine so, from the looks of it, it's as slender as the stock OEM battery, so there should be no reason to get a new back cover. The other extended capacity batteries are thicker, and therefore need that goofy-lookin' back cover to accommodate the larger, thicker extended battery...

Hi!
I just got my extended battery that i orderd from expansys, its the original extended battery.
But there is one anoying thing tough, the new little thicker backcover seems to slip of every now and then, it's like it doesnt go in to place when you press it down.
Is there anyone else with the same problem with this new cover?
the case back is the same for my best buy bought us diamond. it slips sometimes. doesn't click in.

Hmm ok, because i talked to expansys and they said that none had complained about this before, so the told me that i should send it back and get at new one from them...
difference between battery casebacks
I purchased a boxwave 900mAH battery and an oem case back to make my US diamond thinner. The smaller battery back does not come off without a lot of effort... have to push down hard, push, etc... the bigger oem caseback for the 1340mAH battery easily slips off. just a firm nudge will do it. So I think if they ship a new caseback to you it will still do the same thing. it is not even close to being as tight as the smaller case back.

But cant HTC fix that problem, i mean it's just a matter of making the clips a bit better if u understand how i mean, thats not a big thing for them :S
the same problem here bro ! i use the original extended battery and the case slip all the time in my pocket! bought mine in belgium.
Hey everyone. Anyone try this?
http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BASI15HTCX1
I've had good luck with Seidio products in the past.....
is it the same size as the original one (900mah) or do you need a larger case like the 1350 one?
Apparently, its supposed to fit right in, although, this is the CDMA version. I think they might also have a GSM too.
i believe that this is meant to fit with the 1350 mah back, it was designed for the sprint touch diamond as well as the at&t fuze both have the back battery cover designed to hold the 1350mah battery. Also if you look at the siedio battery it says that it is 10% more juice than the original which leads me to think its the 1350 mah battery cover. Now if only i could get the larger capacity battery cover for my mda compact iv and this battery, all would be well. Problem being that expansys is the only one who has that battery cover and its 77$ USD for it.

I bought that from here:
Replacement for O2 XDA Diamond Battery 3.7V 1800mAh
it's only 1800mAh, but it's good enough and it has a nice back cover.
Yes it is nice but give the camera a littel bit of grey area, do you konw if there is a really nice cover out there like the one comes with the battery from mobile fun
increased but these batteries are really more powerful or no use?

The battery came together with the new back cover. It looks almost the same as the original one, but the thickness is two times the original, so you will end up with almost the same size as touch pro...
The only bad thing is when you use the camera, just like mention in
the third post above
Just got this phone and love the battery life with the extended battery, but I really would like to put a case on my phone to protect it. Does anyone with the extended battery + larger back cover have case that works?
I searched around and I haven't been able to come up with anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
It's a long shot, but have you considered contacting Seido? Maybe they would know.

Yeah I did and they said they didn't make one at this time. I remember seeing someone saying they stuffed it into a case meant for the regular backing, but I don't remember the name of the case and can't find it again.
I haven't looked into it, but does the new Galaxy Nexus have the same layout as the Nexus S? If so, I might try and see if there is an extended battery case that fits it.
I need a new battery and charge board (possible only a charge port; Ill know more in a few days.)
http://www.bluphoneparts.com/ has the battery; but I feel it's WAY higher than it should cost... and they say a charge board is unavailable...
Does anyone know of any alibaba type stores that I can get one from; or even if theres similar site for Gionee or Allview or anywhere I can get one from?

I'm sorry to leach off your thread, but do you have any idea on how to change the battery? I'm planning on buying this same battery because I have the same issue as you, but I don't know how to change the battery to the new one. Do you get instructions with the battery? Do you have to completely dissemble it? Do you have to break it off?
Thanks in advance!

you have to take ALL the screws out of the back of the phone, and pop off a connector from the board to the battery...BEING VERY CAREFUL you pry the battery out (its double stick taped in and HARD to remove... DO NOT USE A METAL OBJECT TO PRY WITH as you will poke a hole in the battery, and be in same boat i am in... (you wont like it here in my boat, it sucks and is full of holes so its sinking fast)
