I am a super noob when it comes to flashing android but i have flashed cyanogen's rom to my nexus one. i know how to flash back to stock with modaco's image, my question is i like the battery percentage in the battery icon at the top, how would i be on the stock image but install that option?
Are you asking how to get the battery % on Cyanogen or how to on the stock ROM?

If you can de-odex your stock ROM's /system/framework folder, then you might be able to take the necessary .smali files and rebuild the classes.dex of the stock services.jar, and it might work. There are a lot of mights involved with that though.

thanks, sounds like i will not be doing that. I guess i will leave cyanogen rom loaded i just want the hspa signal to say 3g and the power control buttons green instead of blue, oh well i'll just live with it.
try flashing enomthers rom it has all of the same featuress and what your asking for.

There is a morph to change the H icons to 3G icons. I don't see why people hate seeing that icon so much. It must be so much better than only getting to see the E. Also, there is a morph to make the power control icons green.

Searched and didn't see the morph, thought I had saw one a few days ago.

Once BandroidX finishes up his CWM recovery, we will be able to use UOT kitchen. (pull framework-res off, upload it, theme it, download it, flash the zip via CWM)

However, after talking to bandroidx about him making a ROM, he plans to make it deodexed.
Good stuff! I was hoping to create a black status bar for my bravo, however I have no idea how to deodex it or anything of that nature. I'm ok with the terminology and I'm totally up for learning, I will lend a hand where I can. Once a custom ROM is up, maybe then I can put together some themes, or at least give it a try! Looking to break in.
Here it is, just to be proven it can done, I'm working on white icons and such.

Here is a theme i put together for salvagemod 1.1 only. It's a big mash up of my favorite themes. I was up very late last night putting this together for me, but i decided to share it with the community.
This will give you new fonts based on myns rom.
1% circle battery mod.
New bootscreen animation.
Honeycomb aosp lockscreen.
A dark/silver/blue theme throughout the rom.
A colored settings menu.
All new notification png's.

I cannot just thank one dev for this as i basically frankensteined many themes together for this mod. So i will just say thanks to all on xda.
This will only work on salvagemod, not tested on anything else. You must be running an already unthemed rom before flashing this. Make sure you nandroid before attempting to flash.
Download zip, put on sd card, boot into recovery and flash. No wiping required!

no it's accurate. this rom runs off a 5% battery mod, not 1%. so if your phone is at 72% the circle battery will read 70. not sure how i could go about modding this for 1%. i tried the kitchen but got bootloops.
you really do not need a battery widget anyways when running the battery % mod.
UPDATE: now with 1% battery mod.
ill try to update this theme this weekend for the new salavge-mod rom. this will probably be my last release as im moving to a nexus s soon.

These mods have been tried and tested on VirusRom and are confirmed to work. If they do not work on your ROM or change some of the theming please let me know and PM me your services.jar so i can do mods for that particular ROM.

By default when you press the power button you have 15 seconds to "slide to unlock" before the screen times out and goes black again. This mod will change that to 30 seconds. i flashed the"no clock.zip" on das bamf and it worked HOWEVER IT BROUGHT BACK THE LOCATION ICON
can you please create a zip to remove the clock and location icon

Stuck in boot loop. Stock ROM.
also is there anyway to keep the signal bars that are installed from virus rom? I noticed when I flashed the no clock and location zip that it made my signal bars go back to default and only 4 bars
HI thanks for the work these are great ideas for mods, never understood what the point of the time on status bar when default widget has a huge clock lol.
But sadly i cant seem to get them to work for for me. I ahve tried flashing the no clock zip as well as the no clock and no location zip but still ahve both. I am running the latest version of the virus rom RC1B3 i believe. i know this rom uses launcher pro instead of the defualt launcher could that be whats affecting this? thanks for any help.
Update: Not sure what was going on but after 3 or 4 reboots it is now working thanks again for the easy to install zip

Revert back to your backup and grab your services.jar file .. u probably have the 6 bar version of the file .. the Mods are based off the 4 version .. if you can send me the file I can make the mod u want

if you can just edit mine so it shows no location/no time/no alarm/no battery it be great.
I use beautiful widgets so I have all of these features as battery and clock on my main screen
and keep my powerbar widgets in the pulldown menu and 6 signal bars it be greatly appreciated just want a really clean status bar and want nothing extra there that I may not need.

Its Odex! I will try to get Deodex but i can't promise.
Well I did something dumb and went ahead and applied the battery mod without doing a backup. Blew up my unit. This does not work on Stock Rogers ROM that's been rooted.

That is why he said " do a nandroid back up". If you have issues or do not like you can just restore your nandroid back up and all is well
Will this work with the new OTA update?
UOT Kitchen skySTOCKeteer 1.5
Are there any known setup suggestions/requirements while trying to use UOT for a SR on skySTOCKeteer? i have spent an hour or two making a few customizations and have saved my settings (.uot file) as well as retrieved my cooked zip. I did some further reading and found out it can possibly soft brick so am leery on actually implementing. Any suggestions welcome, if anyone would like to take advantage of the time i've invested let me know and i'll post the files,

Hmmmmm..Stock, Rooted, flashed zip with CWM and my status bar disappears. I have restored and tried it 3 times. Same thing....Any clues?
