Hi! I flashed HyperNonSense v3.3 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1581619) and I don't know if this rom is AOSP, AOKP...
So, I don't know what kernel I have to flash, for example, bricked kernel or bricked kernel AOSP version.
What kernel is the best to that rom?
Thank you
This is a aosp themed, stript sense based Rom mate. Only use sense kernels

Ok dudes!
So you tried some ICS roms on Sensation, which one is the best in terms of stability and speed?
Insertcoin,Senseay x40, Leedroid,ARHD....
ARHD.
But that's just my personal opinion.
I'm on insertcoin

Looks like Senseay x40 will be lot better in next build.
Did they implement advanced power menu in actual ICS roms?
This thread should give you an idea of how some of the roms are...

Other than that, I've used TripNice's ASOP build (you won't find it here, google it) and it's perfect other than the bluetooth and camera not working for now.
I have been running the virtuous rom now for 3-4 days and couldn't be happier.
Battery life is outstanding and its buttery smooth once you give it about 30 minutes after very first boot.

Elegencia ICS has been updated and Dougi will finally release some mods but dunno if it's as stable as Leedroid, it has advanced power menu but no battery percentage yet
Ok now that the new base is out, what to choose?
ARHD or elegancia??
InsertCoin 4.0.7

Currently on DarkForest Sensation XE ICS 2.1.0!
Virtuous Inquisition

Revolution HD = Awesome
Insertcoin 4.0.8 ... Lots of speed

I flashed ARHD and found it faster than Elegancia perhaps because it's lighter in mods, though it still has slow scrolling even with the build.prop edit!
I wonder if all the ICS roms are like that...

It's a new feature of ICS, every ics phone has it. Though I wouldnt call it a feature, more like a slight annoyance

I've been running it for awhile now, I think it really quick and quite stable, I'm using bricked with it

I think you can flash tamcore's kernel with it. I flashed it on OpenSensation. You can flash badass_battery_life.zip or badass_performance.zip from tamcore's site with the kernel. http://files.tamcore.eu/android/?dir=tamcore-kernel

Did tamacore kernel work pretty good on opensensation.are tamacore kernels better for batt life or performance?

i flashed tamcores kernel on my htc sensation with original cm 9 rc1 today. currently i can't tell anything about the battery life but i can say thats possible to undervolt with system tuner and this should increase the battery life.
Hey what version are you using and on tamacore kernels how can you tell the differences between the sense and nonsense kernels.Do you have a web link that I could checkout their kernels on. Thanks...

What are the differences between these 2 roms.arn't the both senseless roms?so could someone please explain the differences in the 2 roms. Thanks!!!

As far as I know, aokp is bases in CM sources, making it possible to put many tweaks in ROM Control. And I think that AOSP ROMS for the sensation ( At least virtuos Inquisition) is a de-sensed ROM, where the developer removed all sense components from a ROM, in order to get the smooth AOSP ROM

Aosp stands for android open source project, which means it's based on Google source. Aokp stands for android open kang project, which is based on Aosp and cm but tweaked and kang. And cm is a modded/tweaked Version of Aosp.

I am S-ON, im not sure if the kernel i am flashing is sense or aosp, but after looking around the forums i think the problem may be because of the boot.img
