Please help!!! Kaiser won't turn on at all!

Hey guys,
I never thought I'd be here, but I'm asking this question. I need an answer fast (need my phone for tomorrow), so can someone tell me what to do if my phone's not turning on at all?! I just tried flashing a radio that I made from an Android one, and now it's dead. I've tried taking battery out multiple times and I can't connect with mtty.

good luck...remember--it won't turn on...not see I did this crazyass thing and took a radio from the dream, digitally signed it and flashed it because I wanted to...welll you know what I mean. Like I told you, they were really nice to me when my usb port shorted last Friday. I had a new phone--not a refurb in about 30 minutes...most of that was finding the number and getting it to match up...because there are 5000 numbers in the account my phone is on.
Cheer up. it will all work out. You probably get a refurb...i was shocked at mine but it was from a premiere account so it got a little extra care. I also did mine at a service center rather than store because of the premiere issue. We can't go to the stores.

I flashed the radio you ported 59.46.12 and it is working great. I am having great battery as well. It must not be the radio my friend. Do you have a red LED light when you plug it to the charger? If so, then you need to wake it up. There is a whole thread about that as you might already know.

hehe, actually I tried flashing a g1 radio I had signed with a Kaiser signature

Chrome OS Cr-48 Notebook

Any other XDA developers get lucky enough to receive a Cr-48 from google? Typing one right now and I gotta say, it's nice.
funny thing is, I started to look through the system, and unsurprisingly, it's set up just like android!

IF anyone has one and would like to jump on development with me, that'd be awesome. the main thing I want to do with this? dual boot android gingerbread.
it seems totally possible, Sundar Pichai even said the entire thing is unlocked for full control of development, and hell it's already running a modified android system of sorts, shouldn't be too hard... right? (famous last words)

Went through the process of signing up. How long did it take you after you signed up to get it? Did they email you first? I might have been too late..signed up last week..i know they were limited in supply.

It's very quick, a friend got the confirmation within an hour. I've applied atleast 6 times...and nothing.

I applied last week also. Didn't get any notification, it just showed up at my door yesterday. Good luck all!!

Signed up last week, got it Wednesday, no email. I was tracking it with the leaked tracking info posted Friday.

Managed to get one.
Using it now actually. When I get some time off on Monday I plan to throw Ubuntu on it, since there's tutorials of dual booting Chrome OS and Ubuntu already. If you wan't I'll stick around and help with what I can, I know my way around Linux rather decently, and am no stranger to Android either.

yeah i got mine yesterday. no email or anything the ups guy just showed up. i want to try some hacks to the OS. putting other OS's on it isnt that interesting to me since i can just do that with any other computer. i want to see what chrome can really do.

Actually, it was delivered 7 days ago to my office. I signed up the first day.
I was sick the whole week and this morning I emailed my colleague asking about any packages delivered to me. She told me that I have received a laptop so I went to my office to pick it up.
Can't believe the laptop was sitting in my mailbox untouched for 7 days.

Hmm.. thats weird. They should be sending e-mails letting people know.

used the cr-48 shipping tracker and theres one coming to my town, don't expect it to be mine though. :X

CR-48 Ubuntu
I got CR-48 second day, didn't expect it. Already installed Ubuntu on it, it fast even with Ubuntu, SSD speed is something like 300 MB/s read. But the interesting thing is I prefer Chrome OS to Ubuntu for daily use I just go into ubuntu for SPECIAL things.

Yeah, a lot of people receiving them aren't receiving confirmations. They either get it at their front doors, or they don't.

how's flash working on it? Engadget commented that after trying to use flash, the device really bogged down.

im gonna apply now to but do you guys now if they send theese to sweden ? i guess they prefer sending them to US only... :/

Temporarily unavailable @ Sears?

Is it saying unavailable for anyone else? Anybody know the reasoning behind it? I was planning to pick one up in Las Vegas this weekend but it seems like the only place to get one now is Office Depot. I was hoping to have a few choices of places to pick one up.

I don't many of the stores are carrying much G-Tab inventory. So they may have to wait till the next shipment from China.

Interesting, there are plenty in my areas (NH, MA, VT). BTW, I just checked today, there are at least 6 -7 in the outlets..

It looks as if it has also been removed from the Office Depot web site! When I search for tablets on their site, it comes up as a thumb link. But clicking on it results in an "Invalid SKU" error! It does say this under the thumb view:

Hopefully, they are just being recalled to install the latest firmware. They are suppose to be coming out with a Flash update soon. Flash, along with the improvements since the initial release, really makes this an iPad killer!

It wasn't that way when I checked early this morning. I see it listed again too.

It is showing as available on Office Depot but it appears to gone from Sears.com all together.

Don't jump to conclusions. It may be possible that Sears has abandoned the g-tablet, but there are other possible reasons for it's disappearance. Maybe they want to sell units that have the latest firmware, and Flash too. Remember, they promised a Flash update this month.

I have been on the fence and almost convinced and went to the sears web site yesterday/today to see the same "unavail". I did see it avail at OD, and I went to VS site and weird stuff. When I selected "resellers" it temporarily popped up a list then they disappeared off the screen, and when i put in my zip (Houston area) it had no stores listed.
I'm back on the fence - but hopeful it is a good thing.

My store had just the phone only AFAIK.
They didn't even have a floor display set up yet and refused to let me open a box to check it out before buying.
Now that stock has been in for a few days, some stores will probably setup a demo model. Not sure I'd hold out hope for accessories just yet other than screen protector and generic case (if you're lucky)?
I'm coming from a long line of Galaxy phones including Note 3 and Note 4.

I have not. And I know who the hacker is. She is the mother of my kids and is about to loose custody of our 3 kids to me. She is also a bit coin miner that hijacks devices to do her dirty work. She is very experienced and I know this for a fact. It's her job. I just need to know how to SSH into the memory that she put the script in.

She has been scamming me and harassing me for 9 months. Trying to get me to click on a fabricated email with script embedded. She finally got her way. Took her almost 8 months the of trying.
I most definitely have never installed any remote desktop server or clients but I know she has. I have found them and Uninstalled. Numerous times. She has been deleting recovery emails and adding saved passwords all day. And that's just today.

If she's such a pro, bring it to a real geek professional than relying on advice from forum. She might have copied it to some partitions which are not formatted by default.

I think you are right. I'll have to check with the fbi and make sure they are done making a copy. Homeland already made theirs. They are classifying it as an act of terror.

Great. Here we go. She is now back on. Messing with this forum for me. I doubt you all can see it but she is doubling up messages and moving my screen around. Crap. Oh well. If you want to email me. It's [email protected]
I did 20 to 25 full erase factory resets in a row. Still was back after the last one. I have 2 other phones she is in and 3 laptops as well.

how can you say so, plz send some screenshot. I dont think she did anything ...

I'm not exactly sure what you would like to see for a screen shot. I am running on a drive that is obviously emulated on my screen and supposedly I have 43 sensors on a fold 2. Maybe that's counting all the drivers for the sensors on my phone to connect to her phone along with all the sensors on her device. I know for a fact that at one point she had my OS running on an s21. She told me I wouldn't be able to prove it. I'm too stubborn to give up. Lol. Here is 2 screen shots. One is my hard disks and the other is my 42 sensors.

Yup. Sure thing. Whatever you say. It's very much real. It's actually very crazy. No one on here has offered me any real input. I'm not making this up. It is very much real. And although it is extremely difficult to do it is possible. Especially for someone that can program on the run and has professional and commercial experience. It's all good.

I'm not sure how she would manage to get on a burner phone too. I'm pretty sure it's possible to hack into a router & infect devices connected to it if you're using the same wifi network. You could try getting a new router & a new burner phone & don't connect any other devices you may have to the new router in case they're infected. And don't open emails from addresses you don't recognize. I would suggest going to geek squad or something like that rather than a forum though.
Ando do a malware scan on any other devices you have if possible. If you have another way to connect those devices to internet like tethering, you could try Trend Micro housecall. It's a free online malware scanner.

How do you know you're being hacked?

Tough to take this seriously and as fact.
But if you are, why haven't you gone to the authorities?

First of all this is fold 3 section not fold 2.
Secondly leave the phone to local police and tell them your wife or gf is hacking into your phone and let specialist att police go through your phone and if they find it's true they will grab evidence out of the phone and then arrest her for suspicious of hacking and they will use evidence when interviewing her and asking her that they found traces of her hacking the person's phone and such. Not last but least if higher up person decides to is do house warrant at her home so they will go home to her take all of her computer stuff including tablets and phones as part of investigation and they will check through all of them.
If you keep reseting your phone you are getting rid of all evidence from her and she will have lower chance of being sued in court and sentenced to jail for her criminal behaviour.
These sensors comes from your hardware nothing she's doing lmaoz. All smart phones have these sensors
