Lightflow Type app? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Is there any other apps out there similar to light flow that are working on the Verizon GS3? The ability to manipulate the colors of the led, are built into cm10, but not aokp...and I really want to run aokp.
Last I heard light flow still had issues.

Does the led work with/follow the cm10 settings? Everything I've read says that the s3 led is a b**ch to work with, and the only app out there (that I know of) works with the international i9300 only.

Lightflow has a working beta that works for rooted devices. He expects to have an official version this week yet.

I have to leave it running in recent apps, and open it at first boot. Other than that it seems to, every once I get awhile, not function perfectly, but nothing debilitating,

[Q] Notification light

I bought my SR last week and I have noticed that there is a spot for the notification light next to the front facing camera. But when I receive a txt or email the light doesn't come on. Is there an option in settings to turn on the light or is there not a light. I am also using the Sky Cream from.

NoLED works fine on the Skyrocket for giving you screen notifications.
BLN only lists a few Galaxy S devices that are supported. The Skyrocket was not one of them. Cool concept, but I couldn't get it to work on NeXuS 2.0.

I'll second this. This is what I'm using. In the settings though: I would suggest putting it to sleep at night so it doesn't drain battery while you sleep (still lights up the screen alittle bit otherwise).

Google Talk with video on 4g

Any one have an apk? Or know how to enable video over 4g? I've tried the enable gtalk video on 4g app in the market but it's not consistent. Keeps telling me I have to be on wifi. Thanks!

Trying to install the leaked apk on a leaked ICS room (the newest leak). It won't let me install it. Have any one else tried? Have install from unknown sources enabled.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA
I had to use root explorer and push it in the system/app folder. If you have the vlingo.apk you need to rename it to vlingo.apk.old, put the new apk in that folder, set the permissions and restart. It'll load but as soon as it tries to reply to your request it will probably force close.
Edit: after doing those steps go back into the system/app folder with root explorer and install the apk like a normal app. After that its been working great!

Tried this link, installed fine, and acts like it is working good. Except after I do a voice command, it won't take another until I exit app and come back in.
Hope i'm not breaking any forum rules by posting this suggestion. You might want to try the app AVX on the market. It is a great voice command program. Took me about a week or so to get it working the way I want but love it now. You can also change the wake up phrase.
This doesn't work well. Extremely slow, laggy and voice recognition 90% of the time can't recognize the command. is this working better for anyone using a skyrocket?

Dim/Turn off backlight of capacitive buttons

Some ICS ROMs have annoying always-on backlight of the hardware capacitive buttons.
Try one of these to eliminate/dim that :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deskangel.adjbrightness
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.pruss.superdim
According to ShortbusDriver none of these work.
Can someone confirm this works - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26195948&postcount=4
No didn't work either....that would have been an awesome fix though lol
did you try to toggle auto brightness on and off ?
lights should turn off when screen is off.
No capacitive lights do go off with screen....just never go off as long as the screen is on.... for example when watching video a movie let's say....capacitive keys stay on and bright as ever
I see, it exists in CM7 as well.
Probably kernel related.

MultiWindow from SGS3 Intl JB leak

I'm posting this in q&a cause I dunno is this is really dev worthy.
I ran the latest leak for the international SGSIII, and found two things of interest.
1. /system/app/FlashBarService.apk
2. /system/framework/multiwindow.jar
From the screenshots I've seen of this rom in action on the appropriate device, FlashBarService is the little Grey bar on the side of the screen that let's you choose what to open in MultiWindow (could be wrong though). Obviously the multiwindow.jar is the framework file for running multiwindow.
I ran FlashBarService.apk through apktool and saw the manifest didn't require anything from framework-res but needed the multiwindow jar to run.
I pushed the two files to my d2vzw in the appropriate places, set the permissions and ownership. Rebooted, and got nothing to show for it.
The FlashBarService.apk also seems to need the minimode.jar as well. Also, from the screenshots I saw, multiwindow has to be turned on in settings under display. So that's part of the puzzle too. I didn't have time to try and push the minimode.jar from the intl leak to my device cause I really really need to go to bed.
Any other thoughts on getting some quick and dirty multiwindow action?
I know this is by far the least elegant approach any wunderdev has seen, but it was late and I got inspired to try something silly.
Ta,
ALQI

I have been diligently searching for a functioning port of multi window to our i535's since the note 2 came out and from what everyone in the i9300/i9305 forums is saying multi window is deeply embedded in the framework of touchwiz and from what I've seen no one has successfully ported it the only reason they have multi window working on there devices it due to the 4.1.2 touchwiz leak they got a couple of days ago but if someone can get this to successfully work on our devices I would definitely donate to them I want multi window sooo bad
