Was wondering is there is a way to make our GPS lock better more stable?

On the versions of android prior to ICS, I was able to swipe the status bar to dim or brighten the screen. This worked on stock rom or one made from a developer. It worked on my Captivate my Vibrant and my skyrocket. I installed Seans's SKYICS on my skyrocket and no longer have the feature. Is this something Samsung dropped in ICS or something I should ask the developer about? This was a really convenient feature for me.

There's a setting in build prop. Make it lower.
wifi.supplicant_scan_interval

are you talking about the range by which your phone can reach a signal? not that I know - I think it's a hardware limitation. but I would be interested to see if there is one...
Anyone have any great profiles and do you think it makes a real difference?

I never had any issues with my GPS it has been working flawlessly
I've never had GPS issues for this phone or my Incredible (and its various levels/mixes of Android OS code), but can't hurt to to install, I suppose.

Does anyone know if any developers are trying to port color temperature settings from international variant to US? I can't seem to find any information.
