Hello, I have problems finding a good ringtone. I have downloaded apps and looked through but I can't find one that I like. So could you maybe send the ringtone you are using right now and I might get some ideas

I change ringtone once a year. All are like business tones, simple, one or two ring.
Now I'm using the Crank ringtone

I am now using ringtones that are included on the rom that I install(RR 2.6.1). Currently on default tetsudo.

What is the best website to download Chesney Hawkes - The one and only from?
Zedge is the best as stated earlier. Silent hill has some good music, kind of downer music, but still good. Metal Gear solid, or Final Fantasy 7 prelude.

I use Zedge to find a ringtone and a notification ringtone. Zedge is a free app you can find on the playstore you should check it out.
Zedge is always good, i generally go for movie ringtones, currently using the ring from the movie Chakushi ari, or one missed call.
Banana phone is the best ringtone ever lol

I am currently putting together an app that will change your lockscreen to vanilla, puzzle (Samsung-like), thin sheet (acer-ish), big slider (miui-type) or bar slider (sense-ed).
This app will allow music controls from default music player along with poweramp and doubletwist. There will also be weather ,displayed along with battery %. Lastly there will be icons for sms, missed calls, and gmail thay show unread/missed count and can be slide up at any time to view the associated application.
I am working on this now, but want to see if there is a demand for this??

i think there is an app similar to what u doing btw... flockscreen... its not on the market yet i think.
but yeah... good stuff especially if u get the music control on it.

There are some lock screen customizing apps out there, but this one sounds nice.
It sounds like something that Google/Android/Sense should already include.
My only issue is I'm not willing to pay a lot for something like this. I'll certainly try a beta or give a trial a shot- and I'm willing to change my mind for a reasonable price. I've bought a few things for a few dollars each...
This app sounds like LockBot + music controls. LockBot allows individual icon customizations between the many lockscreens you can use, including iPhone, Froyo, Rotary, X10, and Liquid. There's another lockscreen, but the type escapes me.

the main (and only) reason that I'd buy this over Widgetlocker is if you make it VERY light on my processor and make that Galaxy S puzzle unlock PERFECT. That being said, if you do both of those things, I'll buy.

If I didn't use the Sense lock screen I would be interested. The weather part intrigues me.
Quoted this because you need to get rid of the last "s" in Chuck Norris' name! You wouldn't want Chuck's rath upon you, HA! I think I can hear the them song now... "Whenever you're in Texas look behind you..."
I would buy it. Not a lot of lock screen weather apps work half the time anyway.
I have noticed a few people saying that there are already a few apps that do this. Don't let that stop you. Obviously, if there are already apps that do the same, then there is a demand for it, and if there is a demand, there are going to be people who like one app over another. My advice- make it as customizable as possible- people like being able to make their phone look exactly how they want it to, and the majority of liking one over another comes down to how it looks, not so much how it acts. Are there any packs out there to replace the default notifications and ring tones? I just recently dumped the xperia notification as they just arent cutting it. I'm looking to have more pleasent tones for my notifications. Something along the lines of "heaven" or "happy" notification tones.
You can always just go get Zedge from the market. They have a bunch of ringtones, sounds, and some cool wallpapers. I like the ones from the Desire Z rom's.

I'll check them out. My phone never stops going with the business Im in so the nicer and more pleasant my annoying email notifications are the better

honestly I just save anything I want as a notification/ringtone into that particular folder with root explorer, you could use all of windows7 system sounds if you wanted to. I actually have a few iPhone tones that I use, hate the phone but it does have a few more soothing tones as well as louder ones. I guess it all depends on if you are rooted or not.

yeah im rooted had unrevoked downloaded before i even received my phone LOL.. I think this weekend I'm going to create some notification packs
1) i need a new camera app that WORKS on my phone running CM9... the stock cm9 camera doesnt record in 720... and CameraZoomFX.. (or whatever it is) takes GREAT pix ONLY what im trying to capture is PERFECTLY still....
and 2)
i need to find a music player app that will let my ringtones ring through instead of just allowing my phone to vibrate, bc i like my music loud. and my gf calls me ALL THE TIME! being prego and all, she gets pissed when i dont answer... any help is greatly appreciated...

For question 2 power amp is a good music app. There is a free version and a paid one. Don't remember if the option you want is in the free version but you should check it out.

actually im looking for this, perhaps would be a "simple" music player, since having all that feature will be difficult, i mean maybe not like double twist or something like that but maybe just simple with some simple commands
i will try "attach" apollo (open source) to my layouts instead separate app
im wondering, how many people will like use "home" to bring the main app instead "home screen" mmmm

A simple music player would be great. support for flac and the usual mp3 etc. you dont need all the fancy EQ options because you would be playing it through your car stereo which has EQ anyway.
If you have a look at the Samsung drive app for example, the media buttons (play pause skip shuffle etc) are so small and not handy for driving at all. Here in Western Australia it is illegal to touch your mobile phone whilst driving, so quick large easy to read buttons are crucial. If you had, now playing/album art, large easy buttons and a large slider for skipping through a track i would be very happy and im sure others would be too. Your music player could even look similar to your main screen. now playing in the middle with the time slider down the bottom, play/pause button, forward and back buttons, and a button to take you to your song/album/playlist select section in the corners like on the main screen. lol sorry its your app im sure you have your own ideas!
Ps the built in auto turn bluetooth on is such a simple feature yet one ive always wanted and the big names havent thought of so well done. if you could spread the icons out a little under the speedo and make them shortcuts to those settings that would be cool.
PPS on the home button question maybe have the option in your settings to do either and let the user decide. the more customizable your app is the more people will like it.

My screen shot looks the same as the one previously uploaded but i attached it anyway.
If you need anyone to test any new features on an i9505 send me a pm.
Auto starting modes would be a good feature. load straight into music part of your app if you like. would be very handy for people that use NFC. NFC app loads your app which connects Bluetooth and has the music ready to go. Thats efficiency right there!
Very nice looking app... Love the weather and speed in the middle...
But having the settings button take 25% of the shortcuts on the main screen is maybe too much. I would like to set that shortcut my self and just press the menu button when I was to access settings.
Other than that... Really nice app...
