Zedge is the best as stated earlier. Silent hill has some good music, kind of downer music, but still good. Metal Gear solid, or Final Fantasy 7 prelude.

I use Zedge to find a ringtone and a notification ringtone. Zedge is a free app you can find on the playstore you should check it out.
Zedge is always good, i generally go for movie ringtones, currently using the ring from the movie Chakushi ari, or one missed call.

Try TouchPal contacts from the market. It allows you to batch set ring tones to the groups.

Add any sound you like, copy the mp3/wav to the phone and set it as notification, or use Zedge as above^^
