Same issue was there for me in ARHD ROM. Got fixed after upgrading to 3.33 firmware and changing the kernel to faux 008b8 (latest is 008b9)
Try turning off fast boot first. Then flash another kernel. And please report back as you are not the only one.
if SON ..enable smartflash in 4EXT just before flashing the ROM/kernel (SON causes wifi issues too)

If you're doing a nandroid restore, flash the ROM you're trying to restore immediately after the restore is done. CWM for some reason does not restore kernel. Flashing the ROM will restore the kernel.
I have just had this problem, so I reflashed a stock kernel and now all sorted.
Alan
I am having this same problem. It began when I went from cm9 nightly to revolver.
I have tried a factory reset, re-flashing Rom and a stock kernel. If anyone could help me out here it would be greatly appreciated.

What kernel are you using? I am using 9.2.2.4 WW secure. Could the version be the problem?

Not sure about the version being the problem but I am using
2.6.39.4-00022-g482ca04
However the filename was
stock_ics_kernel_9.2.1.21_insecure.zip
I found it on some other forum post, if you can't find it let me know and I can try and send it to you.

Found the kernel here.
I then Factory reset, flashed stock rom, then stock kernel but alas to no avail. Is there a separate radio i can flash like there is for samsung phones? maybe that would help.
btw my wifi version is 6.3.1.24 if that helps
Cheers for all your help

No separate radio, try NvFlash to stock and superwipe script from ARHD.

Hi guys and girls. Hope you can assist me here.
I flashed Android Revolution HD on my girlfriends HTC Sensation.
Now she has an issue on many webpages, both occurring with stock browser and Dolphin. When she for example enters ekstrabladet.dk (Danish news page) and opens an article, the whole article loads but then immediately after completion (or maybe 0.5 seconds later) the whole page turns white - the address bar is still there and I can scroll up and down the white page. I can even hold a finger down and go into selection mode as if the whole page was shown behind the white page.
I've tried Googling the issue. Some answers suggested changing the APN setup to not have a proxy address, which I've tried without success.
Then I've also seen one user reporting a similar issue where flashing a different radio helped.
I only flashed and rooted the phone without going to S-Off, so the Sensation is still S-ON, so I'd prefer not to play around with flashing radios, if that is not the cause of the issue.
Issue occurs both on 3G and on Wifi.
Any suggestions?
I haven't experienced anything similar with my previous HTC Wildfire or my current Samsung Galaxy R.
And this issue pretty much renders it 50% useless as a smartphone. The issue was never present on stock rom.
Flashed: Android Revolution HD 7.3 XE (with Beats audio)
Kernel: 3.0.16-v1.5.2, SebastianFM #1 SMP Preempt
Basebamd version 11.76A.3504.00P_11.24A.3504.31_M
Version 3.33.401.154 CL391535 release-keys
Browser version: Webkit/534.30
Edit: Regarding the option to use a different Radio, I just checked the ARHD 7.3 thread which states:
--- With 7.x ROMs I strongly recommend flashing 11.76A.3504.00P_11.24A.3504.31_M radio ---
--- Don't flash RADIO from ClockworkMod recovery! Extract downloaded file and read the guide inside! ---
so that doesn't really support the fact that another radio should be used.
In any case you are on S-ON so you can't flash another radio
Go to settings->apps->all and erase cache of the browser
If that doesn't work then reboot to recovery and do wipe dalvik-cache
See then how it goes
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium
Exactly, that's why I hope not to have to flash a different radio as I would then have to get S-off.
I will try the cache thing. But since different browsers behave similar, I don't think it is sufficient clearing just the browser. Maybe Dalvik can help.
I also got to think that I choose SebastianFM kernel instead of Stock kernel or some third option because the guide I followed recommended a non-stock kernel.
Thanks for your help. Will give it a try tonight.
BR, Martin
Sent from my GT-I9103 using xda app-developers app
I've tried clearing first the cache of the apps but without luck.
I then tried clearing Dalvik Cache (Not Dalvik Cache + Cache) also without luck.
This issue doesn't happen initially. Usually I can go to 2-3 articles on http://ekstrabladet.dk before the white top-layer issue occurs.
It seemed like it may have been taking slightly longer before it occurred after flashing the Dalvik cache.
I did try flashing stock kernel but without success. Maybe because I'm not S-OFF.
However, the SebastianFM Overclocked 1.5.2 kernel seems rather popular.
I also just tried installing SetCPU to limit the max frequency to 1.242 instead of 1.5 GHz. No improvement.
Any suggestions? My girlfriend is of course pretty mad with the phone's ability to browse news pages.
my mistake
i meant wipe dalvik + cache
sorry
also you don't have to be on S-OFF for flashing different kernel

I just tried Dalvik + cache this morning without improvements
Yeah, I know that I shouldn't need S-OFF for flashing a different kernel, but I for some reason did not succeed. I thought that maybe my method was not compatible with S-ON. Or maybe I am doing it all wrong, even if I had S-OFF. I just took a HTC_stock_somefilename.zip kernel file and tried flashing it via 4Ext recovery.
Also I tried flashing it via Kernel Update utility as recommended in ARHD thread. But after reboot, the kernel was unchanged.
I may go back to stock ROM, if I don't find a fix. But I would be very sad to do that as ARHD and SebastianFM kernel must be a great improvement to stock in my opinion. In particular because she also suffered out-of-RAM issues in stock, where custom ROMs are more optimized.

It did not give any errors. With Kernel Updater it gave a message that now I could reboot and my phone would have the new kernel.
And in 4ext it just said "flashed kernel ... bla bla" without any errors.
Just didn't have any effect on the phone.
I realised that I forgot to enable SmartFlash in 4ext, which I need because of being S-ON.
(Described in step 3 in this guide )
I assume that I can enable SmartFlash and retry the kernel flashing before trying other ROMs or going back to stock.
I'm not sure this is kernel-related, but I would assume that ARHD is so close to stock that I don't know why this occurs.

for flashing a different rom or kernel first you have to enable smartflash from 4ext(for S-ON devices only)
Flashing back to stock kernel didn't help.
I hope that she will allow me to try re-flashing ARHD maybe without the tweaks that I checkmarked during installation.
Or maybe I'll flash one of the below roms instead:
Elegancia (Blitz 3.6 version)
ViperS 3.1.2 (sense 4+)
Both seem like really nice ROMs and I believe she wants something with Sense.
Hey Guys, cause i can't getting S-Off in case of a Secured STOCK-ROM and secured Kernel i need to change it.
I wanna get now
[NIGHTLIES][4.4.2]CyanogenMod 11.0 for AT&T HTC One Mini - m4 - THE NEW ROM
and
[KERNEL] [CM11] [S2W/DT2W] Sweep2Wake/DoubleTap2Wake Kernel for CM11 - THE NEW KERNEL
after that i think i can get my S-off and finally flashing InsertCoin till cm11 is stable.
First Question:
Is that possible to avoid my problem with S-off cause i am changing Rom and Kernel?
Second Question:
When i switch from cm11 nightlies to Insertcoin will i get any problems cause the kernel is only for CM11?
I flashed insertcoin 2.6 without s off, from cyanogenmod without any problems, just make sure that you use the latest version of twrp. There is also 2.7 but I think you need s off for that, and I heard that there are some problems with flashing that version.

I had an ordeal getting IC on my mini, the main problem was the TWRP 2.7.1.1 dropped my USB connection which then meant I had no access to Sideload or ADB and couldn't send the zip to my phone.
Pre checks that you will need to make sure you have in place;
HBOOT 2.22 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759131
CID - 11111111 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789272
S-OFF (I used Rumrunner) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789272
TWRP - 2.7.1.1 - This version is a must as it uses the new partition layout
If you wipe everything apart from Data it will remove the existing Rom, then install IC 3.0.3
Once it is installed flash the boot.img that is inside the IC 3.0.3 zip and will stop getting boot loop.
Hope this helps

Stock KERNEL
TWRP bacon 7.1
WIFI TETHER------
on my out the box setup i was able to tether with no problems, after rooting/flashing mahdi, im recieving tmobile/metropcs upsell page for tethering data.... never got this on the cm11s stock rom.
any ideas ?

FLASHING-----
When flashing things after the ROM ( scroll mod, kernel, etc ) , those flashes are only dependent on that ROM, so if i flash another ROM it will essentially remove all those flashes ? - with new radio, kernel, etc ? Correct ?

Wifi Tether: try http://d-h.st/Usv
Flash: Yes. Radio is not affected as it isn't changed upon rom update, unless you're flashing CM. They ship their rom with radios in them.
You will need to manually wipe.

Help ?
I've been using Temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build, for his last 3 build updates with TYR kernel. I decided I wanted to try out AK, or Render Kernel with Tamasek. Flashed new UKM update from AK, flashed new kernel. Restarted the phone and it constantly reboots on One+ logo. Never loads boot animation. Decided to fully wipe the phone, including system and reflash Tamesek. Then tried flashing AK. Same problem. Tried full wiping again and flashing a different rom and AK kernel or Render kernel and same issue. Reflashed TYR kernel and it works perfectly fine.
I have no idea what's going on. But, I don't want to be stuck using only 1 kernel. Any ideas?

Better ask your question in AK or Temasek thread
A friend of mine is having touch issues with his opo! It's unresponsive sometimes! He is on stock unrooted 05q. Will flashing a custom kernel help?
If yes please suggest a good one

I think something borked on one of TYR's kernel flashes. May I should reset the phone completely. Is there an option to do this with ODIN that someone can point me into?

Right, just wiped/restored my phone to stock/factory all the way back to CM11S30R. Unlocked bootloader, rerooted, upgraded firmware and reflashed Euphoria and still can't flash AK without bootloopingon the ONE+ logo. I then clean wiped, and flashed Euphoria and same issue. No need to flash back to 30R
I'd flash the 05Q stock using fastboot
That comes with latest modem etc
Then if you'd like flash custom rom in recovery
Unlock bootloader?? Did you lock it after unlocking it?
What version of recovery are you using?
