Just saw a commercial where some girls where using s-voice and an incoming call came in and she said reject and it rejected it.
Can anyone duplicate that ?
I know the Samsung press release says it can do it but my s3 on at&t won't.
Thanks
Did you set up a wake up command to reject calls? I'd try that to see if it works.

its actually just a voice command feature for apps, s-voice doesn't have to be open for this to work. Go to settings -> language and input -> voice cmd for apps -> turn them on. If you open this setting you will also have options on what voice command you want to to work (incoming calls, alarm, camera, and music)
I've found the commands to be flaky as hell. Still haven't gotten the answer/reject to work and I pretty much have to yell at the phone to get the others to work.
I actually like the voice set up. I use it for the camera and I can say things like shoot cheese and smile.

Ok so if I go to settings>call settings>other settings/phone settings, it says default mesg etc. What exactly is that for and how does it work?

I'm pretty sure it's designed to send a caller a txt and reject their call. I just made a few test calls from another phone to mine with the screen locked/off and unlocked/on and I do not see the option. Perhaps it's another missing feature or it needs to be enabled somewhere?
EDIT: Apparently it's supposed to be automatic. See this thread as well: http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-mobile-htc-sensation/94296-text-message-after-rejected-call.html
I just tried and no text was sent.
Maybe it's for while you are on a call already? I don't know how to make it work either. Sucks that they put things on the phone that have to be unlocked ie screen shots , this feature ...

Just an update, if I hit the menu button during an incoming call the option to send a message appears. I wasn't able to edit it. I'm on htclays superlite so I don't know what effect that has on the functionality of this feature.

I came from the Vibrant and loved the auto reject list options on it and was wondering if any of the ROMs had that built in or would I have to get a program from the market to do it. I did see you can take and send a contact right to voicemail, but with the auto reject list they were unable to leave a voicemail.
That would be awesome.

Hello,
I'd like to do 2 things but am not sure what to do to improve voicemails for me.
1. When I slide down to see that I have a voice mail, if I select it it prompts me for a password. I'd like it to auto enter it. I can dial my voicemail and have it put in pauses and auto enter my password but it would be much more convenient if I could make the notification icon do that for me. Had that problem with the nexus but was too lazy to do anything about it.
2. When the phone rings, if I ignore it, I still get the default sound afterwards - probably to tell me I have a voicemail. Not much point in having it do a default notification immediately after ignoring a phone call so if I could turn that off, that would be great. My nexus didn't have that - seemed like I had more options for sounds for specific events but that could be faulty wiring in my brain.
Thanks
I figured out the default sound - it was changing between my messaging sound and the default sound.
I'd still like to figure a way to avoid the password prompt in my voice mail.
Not sure as I have never used the default voicemail on my Galaxy S3. I use voicemail through Google Voice. It is much better (In My Opinion) than regular voicemail.

my god thank you!
this has been bugging the sh*t outta me
Using google voice will be your best bet. These are the options you can choose to have using it.
1. You can access your vm via normal calls/prompts
2. You can have your voicemail transcribed and emailed to you
3. You can have your voicemail transcribed and texted to you
4. YOu can choose to do none of the above and just get a notification you have a voicemail and go directly to the google voice website and play your voicemail automatically via web browser.
None of the above requires a password.

Thanks - I understand I can do it if I create a voicemail contact and call voicemail. My goal is to slide down notifications and click on the voicemail icon.
Does anyone know of an app that will notify me of incoming calls and text, tell me who it is and let me respond via voice? Windows phone did this automatically and I miss the feature. I have found apps the will read txt's but not give the option to reply

I think there is a notice alarm that set up already in window phone ?
Its possible but it prompts asking if you want to answer/listen or ignore. Then you can respond or be done. This doesn't sound like an alarm feature to me.

Anyone?
Hey. I have an S4 i9500, running PAC Rom. I want to prevent people from being able to answer/disconnect the call from the lockscreen. Basically, no one should be able to answer the call without entering the PIN. While you can restrict access to almost everything using a PIN lock on the lock screen, it still lets people answer/disconnect the call, and see who's calling. I don't want it to be like that. Is there anyway I can restrict people from even seeing who's calling, and prevent them from being able to answer/reject the call without entering a PIN?
Is there any Xposed module, or any app for this?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
That's a odd request.
It would be cool if you can do it.

Yeah, I just realized that I really need something like this. I don't care if the caller disconnects even before I answer the call because I took a lot of time to enter the PIN. I'd really like to have this feature.
