Looking for a Picture edit app with built in Gallery - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

I want to be able to flick between pictures and edit them quickly.
Can someone suggest an app with built in gallery and edit capability (I want to be able to write / draw on the pics, not crop and rotate etc).?

Why don't you use the belt in app (Photo Editor)

Try Photo Desk from Samsung Apps.

I was searching for an app that i could take a picture with the stock camera, select the share option send it to the program and then edit it. Any ideas?

QuickPic + Photo Editor together is a good couple to do so. Maybe you may like to set these 2 apps as default photo browser and editor.

It is a matter of how you use your fingers on the screen, try it then.

Wall paper randomizer

Does anyone have any reccomendations for an app for this:
Code:
every X minutes do
select 1 photo randomly from [ list, of, gallary, albums ]
auto crop
set as wall paper
Preferably where it is smart enough to crop the image as little as possible, many of my wall papers fall between 1024x768 to 1600x1200, so it's not so necessary on a TF lol.

I tried that but couldnt figure out how to have just one wallpaper and not the one paper for each screen. Is thatpossible?
Yes. Select "single picture" as your source. However there would be no picture scrolling. but it does prevent your wallpapers from being cropped/pixelated.
would it also allow periodic paper switching when single picture as source is selected?
That doesn't make sense. If you only choose a single photo of course it won't change. There is however an option to pick a folder and you can pick how many minutes before it alternates. You can also choose to double tap the screen for iimmediate change.

Thats why i asked. I (and the op i believe) want an app that changes the wallpaper randomly. Not to have different wallpapers for each page. Multi live wallpaper isnt what he needs then. Wallpaper slideshow isnt perfect but it does the trick.
I'm not exactly sure if its compatible with TF, but J4velin wrote an app called Wallpaper Changer that might be what your looking for.
Let me know if it works...
Here the market link: https://market.android.com/details?id=de.j4velin.wallpaperChanger&hl=en

wallswitch in the market does everything you want.
you can point it to a folder full of wallpapers and it will switch between them based on a timescale you want.
as long as the wallpapers in the folder are the correct size it does the job perfectly.

i dont think its optimised for tablets to be honest, although their is a setting you can choose where it doesnt crop the image.
Searching market for wall switch and multi live wall paper, suggests that it's near'ish what I want but not quite. All my stuff has been moved from a shared folder to Picasa, and I have so many that I needed 2 albums...bloody 1000 pictures to an album crap!
On the upside, looks like one of them has source available, so maybe I can figure sth out.

Photo editor?

Is there not a photo editor in the gallery when viewing photos? I thought that was standard in JB.

Ah ok I found it.
You need to go to samsungapps.com and download their app store (you'll need a samsung account)
Once the Samsung app store is loaded click on Top, and 'Get' Photo editor. Once it's installed you can access the photo editor from the Photo Editor shortcut or in the Gallery by pressing the menu button and "edit" If you use photo editor through the photo editor button you'll stay in the photo editor app, if you use photo editor through the gallery you'll be returned to the gallery once you're finished with the edits. This obviously should of been included with the phone, why it wasn't and why you have to jump through so many hoops to get it on is bewildering.
Here's the apk of the photo editor if that helps any. http://sdrv.ms/QZ3YqT
Thank you soooo much. You're absolutely right, that was very stupid for them not to include.

Note 5.3' image editing software

Hi guys,
Is there a possibility to get the basic image editing software that the standard Note 5.3' has? If I want to take a screenshot and use the SPen to circle or highlight something, I have to do it through Photoshop which is annoying, inaccurate and time consuming.

There are two ways you can get a similar editing tool on the 10.1:
1) Long press on the screen that you want to capture with the button pressed on the S-pen (I found this way also catches the little cursor if enabled which I don't like)
2) Long press on the screen capture icon for the screen you want to capture. (My prefered method)
Both of the above methods will load an image editer/snipper which has a pen tool as well as an eraser tool and you will not need to use photoshop.
Another little trick is if the crop tool is the rectangular one, you can select the lasso tool by long pressing the rectangle tool and then select the lasso tool to highlight a specific area that you want to capture. It would have been nice if this was an app that could be loaded from the app menu.
Odd I have the same functionality on my Note 10.1 as i have on the 5.3, that is if I take a screenshot with the pen it will open up the screenshot in edit mode.

That is strange, did you try both methods I described in my previous post? If you don't long press and capture using the button at the bottom, it goes to a choice of either gallery or Photoshop. The pen method should take you straight to the editor and not gallery/Photosop unless you have something or a setting wrong somewhere.
True, it is working. Thanks a lot.

[Q] How to take continuous photos? What's auto awesome?

I've been looking for this with no luck, in my old Note 2 I was able to shoot multiple photos in seconds, like 10 - 15 photos, however in Nexus 5 I have tried almost everything and I can't find that option, is it there? I know this might be pretty obvious, but I can't find it.
By the way, what's Auto awesome? I've read about it, but I don't get the idea or how to use it :S
Thanks in advanced, have a good day!
Hi
The nexus 5 doesn't have a built in burst mode unfortunately. There are alternative apps that can give you the same feature from the Play Store. I use an app called Fast Burst camera. Does the same thing
As for auto awesome, it is a Google plus feature that ties in with the auto upload of photos feature. So basically when your phone auto uploads pictures to Google plus (if you have it enabled), the Google servers scan the images and make new photos/ add effects (ie. Auto awesome). These include color correction, gifs, photo grids etc. It is a terrible explanation but I hope it clears it up a little
