As it is popular in top box and in iphone
Now it is rocking on Galaxy Note and Galaxy s3 and HTC one X
¤ Not a remote, not a thin client; the real deal. No root or jailbreak required.
¤ XBMC can be launched as an application on your set-top-box, tablet, phone, or wherever else Android may be found.
¤ The feature-set on Android is the same that you have come to expect from XBMC, no different from its cousin on the desktop.
¤ Running your favorite media-center software on small, cheap, embedded hardware is about to become a hassle-free reality.
¤ And as Android-based set-top-boxes are becoming more and more ubiquitous, it couldn’t be a better time.
¤ In fact, primary development was done on a Pivos XIOS DS set-top-box. And that is no coincidence, you will notice that Pivos is now listed as an official sponsor (more on that later).
¤ It is in under development of XBMC.... With more features
I will get the updates here when the XBMC worked on it as i Open source i have presented here
Enjoy
¤ XBMC is stable and works great there, as well as on various tablets and phones. Though with Android, as many of you probably know, that is only the beginning of the story.

I couldn't install this on the EVO through Astro even though the EVO has 222MB free... what the ****?
Running DamageControl, but I don't think app2sd is working for me.
P.S. Holy ****!
Parse error on download. Any mirror for this?
the apk is 99mbs????
Would recomend an ADB install. Apps2sd is working nicely for me, no lost internal memory for me!
Can you rip some more apps. Need for speed works beautifully.

Any chance this can be played on a Desire?
Nice work Legion.
^ am about to try on the Desire so I'll let you know. I suspect it might be designed for larger display (or it would probably be in the market already) but fingers crossed...
Found a ripped version some days ago ... did not worked on my nexus 6, sorry, nexus one
so i will try this version, but i think it will be the same...game starts, but no ingame graphics...
Doesn't work on Desire either
Loads and everything but you don't get any graphics other than the hands on an invisible steering wheel. If you switch to outside view you just get gfx weirdness.
I also got a message on startup saying "this device don't have a number"... strange

Wow, I'm flattered, thanks man. Sorry to all the desire and nexus one owners, other snapdragon users have tried to get this working with no success.
lol I couldn't help but notice "NFS ****". That was the only reason I clicked on the link.
NFS is a fun game but not enough to satisfy those who pursue simulation and challenge.
Anyone care to explain how this game is being played on a nexus one, yet there are graphical issues when I try to? Here's proof that it can be done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata&v=gfJVqFlVAtE
its simple really. the version on the droid x is optimized for a different GPU than the snapdragon GPUs, that is why it doesn't work on the N1, Desire, EVO, etc.

What tablet?

I have been looking for a tablet but i seem to be a bit confused with whats going on with the android software. Every tablet i have looked at doesnt seem to have the traditional android features and settings most have a whole different play store called either getjar or applib etc the salesman said that i needed to get a tablet with honeycomb 3.0 as this still has the back door access for rooting is this true. What decent tablets are about for around £150 doesnt matter if is second hand just looking for something with Bluetooth wifi and usb host which to my knowledge is available with android 3.0. Ive looked at the archos g3 and g9 but they have android 4.0 and root access is blocked also doesnt have half the functions also looked at the viewsonic viewpad 7 but thats stuck on android 2.2
Any suggestions or advice on anything ive mentioned would really be great.

1) PLEASE use punctuation.
2) Almost any name-brand tablet that runs 4.0.x (ICS) or 4.1.x (JB) can be rooted. If it uses "getjar" or something it's running Java but probably not Android, any Android tablet should have "Play Store" which actually has nothing to do with rooting or not.
If you have that much money to spend I suggest you look into getting an HP TouchPad (if you don't need a front facing camera) or an Acer or a transformer.
The archos i looked at in store today said it had android 4 ics but the salesman said it wasnt the proper android software and i would be better off using one with honeycomb 3.2 but i will have a look at the suggested models online now

Galaxy tab is a very nice tablet series... and it can be rooted

[EMU] ResidualVM

Found this on another site (SOURCE - droidgamers) and thought would share. No onscreen controls as uses hardware keys (early port's). have not got time to test at mo but if the Xperia Play Keys dont work straight off you can remap unworking buttons with Gamekeyboard.

ResidualVM is another emulator that is a cross-platform 3D interpreter which allows you to play LucasArts' Lua-based 3D adventures games and has had a team working on it for awhile now. As with all things relating to emulators, the inevitable question arises about an Android version. Well it seems some users over on the ResidualVM forums have taken it upon themselves to unofficially port the emulator over in the hopes that the ResidualVM team picks it up and makes an official version from it. However, the unofficial version works very well and you can grab it and play a little Grim Fandango on your Android device if you're up for it.
Of course this is still a work in progress and there happens to be no overlay with on-screen controls that you can use to play the game. The solution to this is to either use a physical controller or an application like Game Keyboard to have a custom overlay that you can use to play the game. You will also need a fairly high-end Android device to run everything as full speed. Our tipster has it running nice and smooth on a Samsung Galaxy S II so you don't need a bleeding edge Android device to run it well, just a decent high-end one at least.
If the current coder of the unofficial Android version decided to merge his port with the code base of the ResidualVM team's version, we could see an official version of ResidualVM not too long from now. Until that happens though, we have an unofficial version to toy around with. Of course if you aren't technically inclined when it comes to emulators, especially those that are a work in progress, you might want to wait on grabbing this one. If you're up for mucking around with this unofficial version, and playing a little Grim Fandango, hit up the official forums below and on page 4 and 5 of the thread there are links to the different ports.

[LWP][NO ROOT] ZTE 3D Mushroom Live Wallpaper (for non-ZTE devices!)

Hello everyone.
I stumbled upon this Apk while browsing Google, and figured it might be fun to see if it works on other devices. So I installed it on both my Nexus 4 and Nexus S, and it surprisingly runs flawlessly on both. No crashes or anything of that sort.
Here's a few photos:

It has a cartoonish feel to it (which makes sense because ZTE mostly sells phones in China where cartoonish UI's are popular) but I still think it's pretty cool even though it's not exactly 'stock'-like. Swiping from left to right will spin the camera around the mushroom. It is not locked to rotation on a screen-to-screen basis, you can just keep spinning it round and round 360 degrees.
It's a pretty impressive live wallpaper, and is *full* 3D - when you click it in the live wallpaper picker it even loads the pieces of the wallpaper as 3D models. Despite that, it's extremely smooth, I haven't had any performance issues with my Nexus 4 (not that I expected it to though) nor my Nexus S.
It should be noted, though, that ZTE coded it to freeze the wallpaper whenever it's not displayed in order to improve performance and battery life - so on older devices (like my Nexus S) there's about a 1-1.5 second stall where the live wallpaper is frozen before it resumes animating whenever I turn on the device or go back to the homescreen. On my Nexus 4 this stall is hardly noticeable, though, so I assume any decently powerful phone won't have a problem.
To install:
Just download the Apk attachment onto your phone and install accordingly (or plug in your phone and drag the Apk into the downloads folder, then install from there). No root required - you don't have to flash it, or fix permissions, from what I can tell. Of course, this is just for the phones I tested it on so I can't guarantee it'll work perfectly for yours.
As with anything on this site, install at your own risk. I don't see any reason why it might cause problems but don't hold me responsible if it does.
Hope you all like. :good:

[APP][2.2+] YouTube No Screen - Play YouTube in the background!

UPDATE 1.0.1: This update should hopefully remove some of the issues with buggy audio, and the app will now work much nicer with the screen off!
Hey guys! So whilst working on another app, I discovered a pretty sweet loophole in Google's code that allows my app to play YouTube videos in the background, even if the screen is off!
Here's the thing: I don't have many devices to test on SO I need you guys to try it out for me and let me know how it works for you!
This app is and always will be free. If you wish to buy me a beer please click the "Donate to Me" button in the sidebar of my posts.
Feel free to ask any questions!
By the way, yes a five year old did make my icon

Works quite well on my 1+1 with MahdiROM 4.4. Audio is a bit choppy when typing or switching apps, but that could be due to my device being underclocked to 1.7GHz.
Thank you Bro ? Awesome

Using note 3 (n900t) T-Mobile on tweaked 3.95 KitKat rom, had a little choppy audio first video i opened but since then been playing smooth. Great app brother

The latest update should hopefully help with that
Great app! Will you continue development ?
Btw works great on Samsung Galaxy young GT-S6310
Edit: If i'll have any good idea, i'll make an icon for it.
Edit 2 I just realized that it doesn't support playlists :more precisely playing next video in background.
Not working on Pixel. No background playback at all.

works fine on s7 edge (sm-g935F) @ android 7.0
Can you make a Version, running in the Background so you can play Videos on YT and work at the same time ...
