[EMU] ResidualVM - Xperia Play Themes and Apps

Found this on another site (SOURCE - droidgamers) and thought would share. No onscreen controls as uses hardware keys (early port's). have not got time to test at mo but if the Xperia Play Keys dont work straight off you can remap unworking buttons with Gamekeyboard.

ResidualVM is another emulator that is a cross-platform 3D interpreter which allows you to play LucasArts' Lua-based 3D adventures games and has had a team working on it for awhile now. As with all things relating to emulators, the inevitable question arises about an Android version. Well it seems some users over on the ResidualVM forums have taken it upon themselves to unofficially port the emulator over in the hopes that the ResidualVM team picks it up and makes an official version from it. However, the unofficial version works very well and you can grab it and play a little Grim Fandango on your Android device if you're up for it.
Of course this is still a work in progress and there happens to be no overlay with on-screen controls that you can use to play the game. The solution to this is to either use a physical controller or an application like Game Keyboard to have a custom overlay that you can use to play the game. You will also need a fairly high-end Android device to run everything as full speed. Our tipster has it running nice and smooth on a Samsung Galaxy S II so you don't need a bleeding edge Android device to run it well, just a decent high-end one at least.
If the current coder of the unofficial Android version decided to merge his port with the code base of the ResidualVM team's version, we could see an official version of ResidualVM not too long from now. Until that happens though, we have an unofficial version to toy around with. Of course if you aren't technically inclined when it comes to emulators, especially those that are a work in progress, you might want to wait on grabbing this one. If you're up for mucking around with this unofficial version, and playing a little Grim Fandango, hit up the official forums below and on page 4 and 5 of the thread there are links to the different ports.

Xam Player inspired by zune (WIP)

XAM will be a open source android media player. It will be the end all media players of android media players. It will provide music playing and library organization via subsonic integration, video playback via mplayer integration, and podcast subscription via developed code.
XAM is inspired directly by the Zune player interface, learning from both the successes and failures of said interface.
XAM's goal is to provide a simple and error free interface that is both functional and beautiful. Also to provide customizability of both the full client and individual features in the premade client.
Here is an example of our current concept interface.

Looks nice. But I can't stand seeing previews for things I won't see for almost a year :-\
2012....
Oh right. Gotta get your app up before the world ends.

Oh, that's more like it.
bumping...
Bring it on!!! I gave up my Zune when I got my EVO. No need to carry the extra device. But, I really miss the UI. This looks great.
Don't forget about equalizers and ID3 tag editing support.

any update on a beta yet? very curious, giving up my (broken) zune and switching to android full time. want to see how you handle podcasts, that's the one thing i haven't found that works anywhere close to the zune. they're always clunky manual operations.
Any news on this?

[GAME][2.1+] SkidPad Lite

After a few months of on and off part-time efforts, I've managed to design and develop an android game. Its a small autocross game called SkidPad. Currently I have a lite version published and am working on pushing out a full version soon.
This is my very first attempt at pushing something out to an app store.
It should be there on Google Play under the name "SkidPad Lite"
Its an autocross style game where you need to cross a sequence of checkpoints in order as fast as possible. Points will be deducted for cutting the track. Unlock cars/levels as you play.
The controls are quite simple using the touch interface. The tilt interface though.. I'm not a big fan of it, so its still pathetic. That will probably need some more work.
It would be really great if the forum members try out the game and provide some feedback
Providing a link will be come in handy!!!

Thanks a lot. Since I'm pretty much a "new" member (been lurking around the forum for years without posting much), the system didn't allow me to post a link. I can't even quote your message that has the link in it. All for greater good I guess.
However, that will not be a problem going forward
Here are a couple of screenshots from the game.. Hope you all like it

Nope. This was entirely done using the Proton SDK in C++. I'm not that comfortable with Java or C#.
Proton is a nice and free SDK, but it lacks documentation - basically you have to run through the code to find out what's what.

Remote control and *view* your phone camera with Android Wear

Just wrote an Android Wear app to remote control *and view* your cell phone camera live. I have a series of other hacks I plan to do in the near future but here's a start. Open source too so hope people can help contribute and make it better! Welcome feedback, pull requests, suggestions.
On the play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dheera.wearcamera
Source on GitHub:
https://github.com/dheera/android-wearcamera
Post on my website:
http://dheera.net/projects/android-wearcamera
Now you can spy on people and take photos of them without them knowing it xD
Very cool app. Works well. Thanks for this!!
Sent from my HTC One M8
This is brilliant!!! Absolutely brilliant!!!
Well done!
Totally awesome app!
I've made a bunch of updates to Wear Camera Remote since the first release now. I've added basic support for turning the flash on/off and switching between front/rear camera. But I'm doing it differently than all those paid apps (e.g. Pixtocam) in that I want the UI to blend in well with Google's UI. Also small buttons on a smartwatch is awful to use.
More features to come in the future when I get time, stay tuned. Or if someone wants to help extend this vision, it *is* an open source GPL project.

Tried this, awesome!! thanks
Awsome app !
Can you consider for the next version to be able to disable the screen on the phone ?
It's this for nexus devices only or all phones? It doesn't seem to work on my LG G3.

Not working on my HTC One either. The only app that's given me phone->watch video is LookBehind but it cost like $2. In any event, people are blown away by this James Bond-esque feature

[APP][4.0+] PixelBomb Beta - Create awesome glitch art

View attachment 2936335
Update 9/20/14: Implemented some features a lot of people were asking for:
GALLERY VIEW - view, share, and delete your images from directly within the app.
RECENTS VIEW - quickly switch back to frequently used images
Some minor UI tweaks and bug fixes. New icon!
Update 9/15/14: I've just released an update that should fix the FCs on pre-4.4 phones!
Hi guys, first time I've posted on XDA in a very, very long time.
I've just released PixelBomb Beta. PixelBomb is a pixel sorting app, the only one for Android as far as I know. What is pixel sorting? This is pixel sorting:

}
It's a method of rearranging pixels in an image to achieve a cool glitchy effect, pioneered by Kim Asendorf. Check out reddit.com/r/glitch_art and reddit.com/r/pixelsorting for more, if you're into it.
I actually released this app a few days ago, and today released an update that improved speed by a factor of 25. Java be slow, C be fast.
Anyways, if you want to check it out, please do, here's a video (warning: music) if you want to see how it works.
Download here: Play Store link
I'm here to answer any questions, feature requests, etc.
Questions about development? Ask away.
Need help? Ask.
It is still in Beta, there are still some crashes occurring out in the wild, so if you get one, please let me know ASAP! Speak up on here, or use the feedback button in the app. I'm doing my best to make this a really great app, I'd love to have feedback from the community,
Thanks for looking. :good:
The $0.99 price tag on the Pro version is not going to last much longer - the app is almost out of beta! Snap it up while you can still get it for cheap!
Get PixelBomb Pro Beta on Google Play
In free version is not possibile work with photos from sdcard.

[4.4+][Apps] I made this new HD Wallpaper App

I always had this thing to learn app development specially for Android.
So one fine day I decided. Sat Down. Opened up my laptop and started learning or reading on whatever I could get my hands on. I started making some basic Java Apps and then later shifted my focus on Android Studio.
One month down the line, I started making my own app and yesterday I launched it.
Now remember for a wallpaper app, update wallpapers weekly or daily if possible, upload only those images which can be used publicly or do not have any kind of rights or licensing.
Make sure you have eye-catching wallpapers.
I have made the backend in PHP MySQL.
You can check this out.
Best HD Wallpapers App - Apps on Google Play
Though I have not started earning from this app, obviously.
But I will try my level best to market it as much as I can.
Do download it and give me a feedback if possible.
Cheers!:fingers-crossed:
