Ever since I updated my Galaxy Tab (GT-P7500) to ICS, I'm loving the S Planner app that replaced the stock calendar app.
From what I understand, S Planner is also the standard calendar app for the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S III. Is there a way to make this work on the i727 as well?
So far, I'ved tried taking the .apk from various sources and pushing it into system/app/ to no avail.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Hey guys,
I tried installing Galaxy S apks from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712594 on my Galaxy Tab, but it keeps saying that the app was not installed. Any ideas as to how you would go about solving this??
I really do not like the browser/contacts app on my tab, and it'd be fantastic if anyone knew how to use these apk files and get them to work on the Galaxy Tab....
Thanks in advance!
Not all sgs are compatible with tab... As for browser try skyfire or opera or any other from the market? At present contacts-1.0 from sgs wont work on tab as it runs contacts-2.2 by default.
I have both sgs and tab if you need any default apks
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
i use miren (*sp) browser, by far the best imho
Both miren/dolphin are a lot slower than the stock browser in JMC.
Flash a better rom, solve your problems. Read carefuly though but its easy and its 100% improvement in general responsiveness of UI and all apps.
i was wondering if there's a thred were all the stock apk's are up for download. if not. i was wondering if anyone can share a few apk's im lodoking for the my files, s memo, video player, music player, task manager and program monitor widget..
Thank you
Sorry if posted in wrong section.
Our phone doesn't have s memo. I think you may be wanting stock apks from the galaxy s3 so go to the galaxy s3 forum because tis phone is the galaxy 3, not s3.
Click thanks if I helped.
Here are a few Samsung widgets that you can put in System/Apps and they will work on on Touchwiz ROMS. (I installed them on CleanROM, but didn't care for any other than the Samsung AP Mobile Widget).
1- Favorite Contacts from the Jellybean Leak (works in ICS)
2-Favorite Apps from the Jellybean Leak (works in ICS)
2-The other Samsung News Widget that uses AP Mobile instead of Yahoo News.
4-Buddies Now (This is the one they included on the Note, not the old Galaxy S one. It basically adds a square contact to your homescreen but unlike the stock ICS ones, it is twice as large. It also will use synced pics from FB)
Samsung made made a breakthrough with widget design when they integrated resizeable widgets in their TouchWiz interface on the Galaxy S II. Lucky for Galaxy Note users, they have some exclusive resizeable widgets as well! see more http://smgm.us/rxi
awesome, thanks!
Do I need to be rooted to install these? I tried to install a couple and it came back with "X Application not installed"
Thanks

Yes you need to be rooted. Download the apk then copy the apk and paste it in the /system/app folder then save and reboot
Dont thank/like/rep my posts or ill report you.
Cool I like the AP news better than yahoo. Thanks!
sweet thanks!! do you know how we can get the folder icons from jellybean's TW to the ICS TW?
Hi guys, just in case anyone can help... I found the apks here in the forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691599),the stock ones from the Galaxy S5 but ported to work on the Samsung TW Roms, the accuweatherphone2014.apk and weatherdaemon2014.apk. For my surprise, just putting them into system app and giving the right permissions and rebooting made them work and the widget appears on the Google Launcher, the one I always use,and works fine, but with one problem. When you tap it and the accuweather app opens, very nice design btw, if you select settings it FCs... Any idea on how to make it work?
EDIT
Ok, found a workaround in case anyone is interested, but needs to have a Galaxy phone. In my case I have an S4 with the GPEdition Rom. What I did was to flash a TW ROM, replaced the apks with the S5 ones, set the update frequency and transparency I wanted for the widget, made a backup with Titanium, restored the GPEdition ROM and restored apps and data, and now works perfectly. Was looking for this widget to work on another launcher since my S2 early days...
Hey
I've recently changed from Samsung stock ROM to a custom ROM because Samsung stopped supporting my phone - Galaxy S2 - but I've had trouble readjusting. I've been looking everywhere for the contacts, speed dial, messaging apps from TouchWiz and I can't find it. It's a pity because they're by far the best. They're simple, look good and work seamlessly together.
TLDR: I'm asking for the Samsung stock contacts, speed dial and messaging apps for KitKat.
Thanks!
