Happened to me also . Although for me I just had to restore a nandroid before the theme was flashed to fix it

DAMN, wish I would have seen this earlier. I thought it was just my phone or that I was doing something wrong. spend several hours trying to figure out what was going on! I finally gave up earlier today and called it quits on the theme anyway. dont need it, just dont like the clock centered in beanstock R2. Bean 3.1 and v5 have the clock to the right but I didn't get as battery life with them. back to R2 now with no theme.

What specific interactions are causing the 4g issues? I have both and still have a very strong 4g signal ...

The theme looks amazing, but I lose systemui.apk and have no wallpaper. Am I missing something? Md5 matches.

using phoneinfo to change it from LTE/CDMA/EVDO to anything else, you can switch off it fine but if you try and change it back then it won't go back and will be stuck at CDMA auto prl.

Is there anyway to fix it?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app

This theme is kick a$$, I hope that a fix is coming soon. Right now I have not played with phoneinfo yet and still have 4g. Everything seems to be running fine and Google Wallet is working too. The only thing I see that gives me a hard time is when I try wifi off, I have to reboot the phone to get wifi back on. But that's it, tethering is works, data works, phone is fast, calls are clear and the theme is great. Thank you for the great theme!!!!!!! Hoping for a fix soon for others....

Not sure if it's just jellybomb but I was only on stock beans build 6 and it didn't switch back.

I think its an issue with all Bean Roms. Even on R2 it was an issue. its the main reason I switched to synergy. Now I'm back on R2 because I like it better than synergy. I'm just running the R2 without the theme. wasn't huge on the center clock at first but I'm adjusting to like it.

Saaaame issue. I tried going in to recovery, wiping caches and dirty flashing the rom again but it didn't work. Then I tried wiping data & caches and I reflashed the rom and it's STILL stuck on CDMA auto (PRL)...ugh.
The worst part is that I was just messing around with it, I didn't have a specific reason to change it.

[Q] Text Messaging problems

I'm having a problem sending text messages. wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I can receive fine. I can send on WiFi or 2g, not "4g". Curious Picture messages send fine on all networks.
I have used several ROMs along the way. I have a good list of nandroid backups from various back to stock. Restoring any and all exhibits the same.
Tech support thinks it may be a service issue in my area. My son has a myTouch 4g and has no problems texting.
Anyone have an idea?

Have you tried a hard reboot? Hold volume up + power til your phone reboots. It doesn't delete anything but it. It fixes connection issues for me most of the time.
Good thought. Tried and no go. Interestingly I turned data off and, text messages send. Went to the t-mo store. They guy there took a look at it. He pulled my SIM and put it in their demo unit. My SIM works on their phone. He says "I can get you a replacement but I need to do a factory reset" Sure go ahead. I could tells this guys was a by the numbers guy. I told him sure, then I remembered I'm running Weapons the "weapons" splash and I figured, I'm done. No, he didn't notice. New phone on the way. So I guess I need to revert to stock unrooted when I get the new one.

It is bothering me. I think I've reformatted everything from within recovery. Flashed a fresh version of Weapons, restored from a very old nandroid, rooted 2.2.2
Just another thing to make me nuts.
I have this issue now as well only on 4g... I went to another rom and all was well the problem came back I haven't downloading anything out of the ordinary so I haven't the slightest clue on why this is happening... gonna revert back to stock if the problem persist.

I also tried the experimental, not sure why it would cause these issues after a full/complete wipe and restore of rom's that I've had no issues with at all when it comes to receiving/sending sms/mms.
did you revert back to a OTA stock, and stock recovery, no root at all? That is my last option which will be tonight probably...
I found a nandroid OTA and restored that. That was stock, unrooted. Then I flashed back the stock recovery.
I flashed several roms prior with no luck. Like I mentioned, perhaps the lg updater would fix what is missing?

[Q] Service drops

Hey guys,
I'm running InfinityROM on my Charge. Throughout the day, I'll look at my phone and see that there is no mobile data (4g) coming to my phone, theres no bar to judge what is coming in or anything. If I turn mobile data on and off sometimes it will come back after 4-5 minutes, otherwise a restart brings it back. But it gets really annoying trying to get on the internet for a quick answer and it turns out to be a 10 minute procedure to get what I needed. What's going [email protected][email protected]?
For some reason maybe the Sim went bad.
I've been having that problem too. Seems that its been getting better through.
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
I feel like it may be infinity rom, once I installed it the service drops began, I lost root access, phone has just been overall freaking out. Should I just reroot from scratch? Or just do another rom?

You should try tweakstock rom, it's the best, very stable, not service or lte drops. Infinity has quite a bit of weird issues. I have tried infinity, eclipse and tweakstock, I found tweakstock is the best since it's very close to stock rom.
For now, i would agree with the suggestions of Tweakstock. Until Eclipse is fully finished (with Eclipse Parts) it is the best.

Service drops are not typically associated with any particular rom really. It may be a network issue in your area, a sim card problem, etc. - but it's extremely doubtful that what rom you are running would influence this. I suppose I can only speak of tweakstock, but I've done nothing to it that in any way changes service/connection functions compared to plain-old stock.

Yes, the previous post is 100% correct. This service drops has something to do with your radio and hardware. I would Odin back to stock with PIT file, then try and see if you still have the issue. I had this issue in the beginning and I was a noob then, I called Verizon, they first send me a new SIM card, that's not working and finally they send me another phone, still same issue. then GB 2.3.6 leaks arrived and I flash this before the OTA....and yes it fixed my call drops issue. And that is the last thing I heard of calls drop for my Charge. Yours maybe different but in order to pinpoint the issue go all the way back to original stock and if the issue persist then call Verizon for another phone.

Last weekend installed Zeus v6 and I really liked it Maximum thanks.
Also Thanks qkster for helping me out. As i am very amateur user, didn't got so many problem with ZEUS v6 (I don't know is there any of them)
Some questions (installed Entropy kernel over Original Zeus infusion kernel)
1. when i start using my phone for normal calling, Temperature goes from 30 to 35 on gaming it goes to 43 is it OK?
2. Is it OK if i stay with entropy kernel of go back to Infusion GB?
Zeus has a lot of mods and tweak, that's the reason I include the infusion kernel.. never ran it with entropys kernel so idk ...plus I don't play games on my phone

Apps and widgets disappear
I just flashed Zeus 6 last night, and I absolutely love it so far.
I have an issue that I wanted to post in the development section, but I can't (not enough posts).
When I reboot the phone, some apps and widgets that I have on the different home screens disappear. Sometimes a page full of apps is copied to the next page, even over other apps or widgets. Any ideas how I can fix this? Tried reflashing, didn't help. Might just try that again, anyway.
Thanks dman, for such a great ROM. Keep up the great work!

I've had the exact same issue at times with Go Launcher EX on Zeus 6. I switched back to TW Launcher and haven't had that issue. Sucks cause I really like the look and options on Go Launcher EX. Icons kept disappearing and duplicating on mine anytime I did a reboot. Would love to see this issue fixed too.

I'll give that a shot later. I downloaded the update after I was still having things disappear after I reflashed Zeus. Worth a try at least. Thanks!
What worked for me was enabling lag fix and a wipe*3 and reflash. Zeus 6 and r3v3l. both did this to me. Any ideas why dman? First rooms that I "had" to enable lag fix for.
You may get away just enabling lag fix. I'm just telling you what I did. I've asked dman and nun a few times but no answers.

Yeah, I checked that lagfix was enabled when I did my reflash and it definitely was already enabled like dman said so the icons disappearing has to be caused by something else. Probably will mess around with uninstalling and reinstalling Go Launcher EX this evening. I'll report back with the results I see over the next few days.

Random Signal Drops?

I get random signal drops on the stock T-Mobile 2.3.4 rom. I have updated to the March Baseband using the LG updater tool. I just got this phone 2 days ago and I was wondering if there are any fixes for this?
Sometimes I jump from 4g > 2g.
Sometimes I jump from 4 bars > No signal.
These both happen even if I'm not moving.

See if you can bring yourself back to the July baseband. You may have to go without 2.3.4, but you could get yourself a better functioning phone instead. Lol.
Once on that, maybe try a stock 2.3.3, OR a custom rom.
I'd suggest flashing cwm and trying qwes 2.3.4 .. then use titanium backup to freeze the bloat or remove it. Prolly wont help, but its worth a shot before downgrading the BB.
I had hella issues with 2.3.3 which led me to xboarders modified stock without bloat and most of my issues went away...
Then I went to cm7 and had no issues at all. (Unfortunately the new bb doesn't work with cm yet)

Try Hellfire Phoenix.
I know you said you don't want to do custom ROMs, and I'm guessing you'd rather avoid rooting (since you said it wasn't currently rooted), but honestly...you're not going to have a good experience w/your G2X unless you do.
I bought my G2X, when they first came out, and haven't been happy with any of the Tmo/LG updates/releases. Including the 2.3.4. I have noticed better GPS lock w/the 2.3.4 release, but I'm also getting random signal drops, and having issues with wifi calling...even on kwes ROM. (I should mention that kwes 2.3.4 is far more stable than the LG release)
The best experience I had, was with WeaponG2X (2.3.3/July bb). It was stable as hell, and had lots of nice extras. I may end up going back to that. However, I have also noticed, through my years w/Tmo, that I will get signal drops off and on for awhile, then they stop. So, it could be that Tmo is messing with their towers or equipment, and it's not actually our phones. If my issues persist, I may give up the better GPS lock, and go back to Weapon & the older bb. For now, I'm going to wait it out a bit.
Good luck w/your G2X.

Well, I really don't want to flash any custom roms unless it's ICS. I have AOKP on my Hp Touchpad and I love it; however, on all ICS builds the camera isn't working (namely AOKP, which is the rom of my choice). Since the camera isn't working on CM9/ICS builds I won't flash them since I use the camera regularly.
Now about CWM, I just flashed using NVFlash the experimental touchscreen version and I rooted my phone using SuperOneClick. I'm now in the process of removing tmobile bloatware (ex. WIFI Calling, Mobile apps, etc).
Anyway, I'll report back with the results.

I leave for work about 130 and when I get off at 11 I would have about 60 to 65% battery left. On breaks and lunch I use the piss outta the phone.
With 2.3.3 I would get about 7 hours and it would die..
With 2.3.4 I have about 50% left at the end of work.
I can't wait till the new baseband is compadible with aokp, I've got really high expections for the battery life.
With cm9 kangs (i hate to even call aokp a kang, but it is in the name) the free app videocam illusion ( I think that's the name) allows video recording but the quality isn't best, but it works. The native camera apps will take pics, but forces closes on video.
Id run aokp see how that does. Then if its all good, try fauxs kernals. Keep in mind before flashing a kernal, backup ur rom. Just in case fauxs kernal has issue.. ( I can run faux kernals with stock voltage, when I do the undervolt, I have issues... some phones can handle it, others can't).

Deleting bloatware on stock kernal didn't help, so I switched to AOKP. So now I'm testing that out to see if I still get the random signal drops. If a custom rom doesn't help I'm going to try a new SIM card, maybe the one I'm using sucks.

Hope my rambling helps.

You convinced me, I gave in to AOKP. And it's freaking awesome, on par with my hp touchpad. I don't care about video recording, I just really wanted to keep the awesome pictures this phone takes and I did.
What's the benefit of fauxs kernal?

From my experience, faux kernals make the phone a bit quicker. Also with his kernals, when my phones asleep, (screen off) battery life is majorly improved.

LTE issues (no LTE after Phone Info)

Well to save battery I ran across a post on Droid Life about an app turns off LTE since we don't have a setting for that. The app is called Phone Info. I was able to switch it to 3G but now I can't get LTE back. I tried to select "LTE/CDMA/EVDO" but it doesn't stick. It keeps going back to "CDMA Auto (PRL). I tried rebooting and even wiping the phone but nothing. Any help guys?

I'm on Beans n have no themes. I tried flashing Synergy but still the same issue. I'm thinking I need to Odin back to stock but I kinda don't want to since I bought this phone used and it came rooted already. I have very little knowledge on Odin :/

In the phone info, switch it, then select turn radio off, then turn it back on. Has worked for me in the past.

It's been discussed around here pretty extensively but it's an issue with Bean's rom (mb synergy too, I don't know) but once it is switch off lte/cdma/evdo you can't switch it back .
When it happened to me, the only thing that fixed it was nandroiding back to my stock/rooted rom, changing it and then reflashing beans and leaving everything alone.
I just did this today and just switched back to lte with no issues whatsoever it went straight to 4g.
The other night simply I opened this app and lost all data on beans b6...It was as if the app glitched because the screen glitched and bam, data/voice was gone... so I went to device info and the app automatically changed my device to wcdma preferred wtf? I got 3g back by switching to cdma, but still no LTE even after switching to lte/cdma/evdo...
So I ended up having to reprovision my device by dialing: *2767*3855#
This will wipe data so have a nandroid ready, but it should restore LTE...atleast it did for me.

On Beans? It works on stock, but hasn't worked on Beans. mb it got fixed in B7 though.
Similar issue here. I flashed CM10 last night. My 4g worked for about 10 minutes, but it dropped 2 times within 5 minutes, then for good. I rebooted to see if it would come back, no luck. Went back to a restore, same thing. Got phoneinfo and I can get data only on LTE/WCDMA and LTE/GSM/WCDMA. LTE/CDMA/Evdo shows no data, and roaming. Can't seem to get 3g at all. Phone won't even show as activated in CM.
update: Droidstyle's fix seems to have worked. Too scared to play around with the preferred network or CM now though
Avoid jellybomb theme and beans rom if you use the phone info app

Thank you so much. This worked like a charm. I work night shift n this happened to me at work. When I got home, I started to download the stock files to Odin back to stock to fix it but when I seen your suggestion, I did it but I fell asleep waiting for it lol n when I woke up, I got a pleasant surprised. Got my 4G back thanks a lot

even doing the whole reprovision thing has not allowed me to go back to lte/cdma/evdo.. im still stuck at either gsm or cdma auto prl... this is getting really annoying...
Personally i would avoid using that app period, it seems to cause issues on any rom

I did. I had a backup of it on titanium backup but I quickly deleted it after I got my LTE back. It has 4 and a half stars in the market so I thought it was good
