hey guys , i am here in this thread , in need of help for our Motorola Defy ,
many of our developers have tried their best to have solution ( HWA Success ) , but didn't got any luck to either bypass the bootloader or unlocking it any way , to use custom roms more effectively , at present we have cm10 on dev. and its going great on our defy's , yet a need of custom kernel is needed .....
even dev. found a way to flash custom roms via stock recovery without need of root and 2ndinit , all i know is the bootloader is locked with a 1024 RSA encrypted signed key .....any other info. will be provided by the defy users , anytime ......
i know there are great dev. and hackers on this site , so in a hope i am posting it here in this thread , if anyone can help us ,
every defy owner will be grateful to you and we will collect donation for it as a part of our thanks to the developer/hacker .....

Can someone please assist me by answering some questions about flashing a custom rom on my newly baught Samsung ? If yes please do..
1st : it has 2.2v android Froyo ( system info app ), does it worth it for me to flash a custom rom ? i have found Madteams CyanogenMod 7 http://www.madteam.co/2011/10/02/cyanogenmod-7-installation-guide-for-g5-users/
2nd : i didn't see anyone mentioning the word "Root" in that guide. I have previous experiance with Vodafone Joy which required a root in order to flash a custom rom.
3rd : can anyone suggest a better/different custom rom ? so far that's the only one i have seen to be worthy of mention
4th : i really need to alter/flash a baseband ? is it mandatory in order for my cell to function properly ?

i would like to ask some things about the xperia x8(E15i) and the miui installation (v4 or 2.3 base on gb)
in every guide here says (like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151767 ) requirments : 1. re-flash latest kernel , 2. enter cwm , then the rest download and boot bla bla...
sorry for being newbie but i can't find in any guide here and i dont know how exactly i will reflash the kernel naA 14 they said and how i will enter the cwm (mode, application whatever is)
i really need someone if has time to reply and explain me how i will do that , or to give me a direct link to another thread i couldnt find myself to answer my question
i did everything according to that guides, except the nAa kernel reflashing , and the cwm and i think that the problem is this that the rom isnt working and stucks at loading screen, so if anyone has the patient to explain me , i will appreciate it

It has been a month that i have bought Huawei Ascend G700-U10 before that i had Sony Xperia Neo L and it was then that i learned about Android development, rooting, hacks, custom roms, kernels, ...
But now I have a serious problem with this phone!
I couldn't find any similar device with similar development , not root threads , no bootloader unlocking threads , no custom kernels and roms !
I have another problem which the phone sometimes reboots itself all of a sudden !
Someone please help me ASAP ! =(( X(

don't bother ... huawei support said to me they can't provide bootloader code for this phone and dc-unlocker does not support this model so we are out of luck
XDA, anyone working on unlocking A1601 OPPO F1s' bootloader and modify a suitable custom ROM for this phone?
A1601's users will be pleased for that very very much.

*i was hoping to get root acces to this device and twrp custom recovery and to get the best ios 11 custom rom for it without bugs.
