hello , happy new year everyone
i would like to ask some things about the xperia x8(E15i) and the miui installation (v4 or 2.3 base on gb)
in every guide here says (like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2151767 ) requirments : 1. re-flash latest kernel , 2. enter cwm , then the rest download and boot bla bla...
sorry for being newbie but i can't find in any guide here and i dont know how exactly i will reflash the kernel naA 14 they said and how i will enter the cwm (mode, application whatever is)
i really need someone if has time to reply and explain me how i will do that , or to give me a direct link to another thread i couldnt find myself to answer my question
i did everything according to that guides, except the nAa kernel reflashing , and the cwm and i think that the problem is this that the rom isnt working and stucks at loading screen, so if anyone has the patient to explain me , i will appreciate it

Hello guys. i just wanna ak some help on you. ahm,i am finding a way to have a cwm or recovery on my phone. i want to install this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737862 on my phone because its too damn slow and laggy. i have rooted my phone and i have unlocked my bootloader the unofficial way using s1tool. however i cant find a way to install and flash that rom (icecream pureness) . please help me. thanks.
and oh. by the way do i need to install and flash a new kernel like the posted on this link . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566871 . thanks.
hey guys.... plz i need help.... whenever i install MIUI ROM in my xperia P..... it doesnt turn on.... can anyone post complete tutorial on how to install this ROM....i had to lose everything from my phone.... so is like new and rooted already....plz i need help....

First is first. If it is an unofficial version, have you checked whether the ROM you downloaded is compatible with your Device? I presume that you are fully aware of the steps involved in flashing a custom ROM.

dude i don t know where u took v5 cuz its not released yet so if u took that one where its written dev only don t ask for a tutorial ITS FOR DEV ONLY!
then put a link of what u installed please just to make sure of what u flashed then i maybe could help u
about gapps for miui roms most of the time the dev incorporate it in rom so u don t need it

everything worked out well (message displayed .. installation success). but after reboot, my phone stuck at the Intel Xolo logo screen. i have tried reinstalling the rom several times, but always stuck on the Intel Xolo logo screen. please help me to get past this.
i have also made backup of the original rom and it restores quite easily. but when i try installing this custom rom, it stucks at logo screen again. please help me.

:laugh: Which ROM?? Extrance?? Lol. This rom like Extrance r made by f**kin guys who r iiliterate n just learned creating Roms, n all day they just sleep n wank,...So u can't expect a decent working rom from them.

In ur case ur phone xolo is unknown phone there is almost no support for it all over internet SO DONT TAKE RISK OF INSTALLING ROM ON THIS PHONE.
Let me tell the truth,the features of all custom rom are just crap like better camera, sony bravia engine ***** please devs ,we know who u r n from where u all custom rom devs came so just stop fooling people.
You can make add features like Extrance in ur lava xolo without these roms...just search forum and say ***** PLEASE to these rom devs. There is nothing better like stock rom.

actually, i was pretty much amazed by the features that developer described.... however i know the capabilities of the hardware on Xolo A700. but then again i thought let's just give it a try..
as i stated earlier in my above post that i made a backup of the system before installing custom rom.(m not stupid person)
i just restored the backup and my phone is working perfectly.( thanks to good lord)
actually i love the ICS stock rom. stock is the best.

@Ankur Yadav : please donot comment on other peoples work when you havent tried them. We put in a lot of effort in porting roms for unsupported device and if u cant appreciate it please dont make a mockery out of it. All the people who have tried the ROM have experienced the difference and the features. So dont make any allegations without knowing. Thanks

I was not able to post it in any forum. so i'm posting this here. I found a new rom of jb 4.1 for xolo a700 aka mito a332. Only problem is it is in some different language. Can someone translate it in english?

Its only visually modded to jb.....
And for langiage just change it from indonasian to english from settings

i can see its a modded jellybean... follow my screen shots to get to the language settings..
goto settings>lang. and input>FIRST OPTION!
U could recognise menus by icons... look at the screens..

I have Baseband S7562DDBMD1 build XXBMF2, rooted by one click root pro, my device is so slow and need help from you about flashing Kernel or installing custom ROM so that I can make it faster or if possible I want to install custom JB ROM as am a new in this seeking expert's help step by step guide would be very much appreciated. screenshot attached.

HY,i cant help you about the ROM because i dont have your phone and dont know how you have rooted it(S-OF/S-ON),but about the kernell,witch i think will solve your problems,you can flash a recovery,and then wipe cache,dalvik,etc to clean your device,and then flash the SPECIAL kernell for your device,restart,and wait a few moments for it to accomodate .IF you want more details let me know!

Hi, Thanks for the response, I have rooted it with the help of UnlockRoot Pro (using a PC) and flashed recovery (found in Galaxy S Duos S7562 Droidiser Rooting Kit) with Odin through a pc, that's it i have done, now pls advice me if I only flash a Kernel with Odin is this enough for overclocking with SetCPU application or do I need to flash a custom ROM aswell, in both ways kindly advice me appropriate Kernel and if needed ROm for me. I hope you understand my problem I want to make my device faster anyway.. or suggest any other way so that I can meet my objective.

HY,installing kernells is a good way of making your device faster,and more reliable,but if you are rooted,you can overclock your device directly if th processor allows that,just head over to paly store and download rom toolbox,there you will find anything you ever wanted ,as for the roms thery are good options as well,you can see what roms are available for your device from an app called goo manager.I hope that I helped you.
