Just got this today. Much better fit on mine that the Poetic folio harback case. So far, this one has been the best.
i was about to get this as i have the acase for my ipad, gt8.9 and gt10.1. i went for the roocase another thread only because the "bottom" - the area with nothces - folds back too so that you can use it at an ~30 degree angle.
i love this style of case though. thin, tough and useful!.
Had this case for my transformer prime-now have it on my infinity. Fits well on the infinity. I chose this case because I liked how it did not cover any of the screen and the entire speaker is cut out- not just holes. So far, I am very pleased with the Acase.
Can the part that covers the screen be folded back? For like when I hold it in my hands.

Yes, you can fold the cover "front part" back flat again the back of the tablet. That is how I hold when reading an ebook.
So is there a trick to putting this on? Mine is so tight it flexes the screen and causes the left quarter to go dim.
To those that have this case, is it possible to dock the infinity while in the case? Maybe flipping the cover over? Im thinking about purchasing and would really appreciate any help..

judging by the pic, it might not be a good fit.
This case is not not supposed to be compatible with the keyboard dock. However, you can dock the keyboard and you can flip the cover back too if you want. I havent tried this though so I'm not sure how sturdy it would be.

I actually just received mine today. It does support the dock attachment. It will not close completely but that not the point. I have a mini netbook case that can carry the acase, the tf700 and dock. This is an amazing case. Very thing and lightweight. The cut outs are also very well places.

Hi all,
My TF700 won't leave my home (I have a Nexus 7 for that) but I would like to still protect it with as little bulk as possible. If I do go out I'll put it in a protective pouch.
I know there are TPU / Silicone cases for the Prime but I believe the buttons are in different locations so I'm looking for protective skins that are designed specifically for the Infinity.
Thanks,
I'm looking for something like this as well. Would be even better if there was one that would work with a dock. Anyone have any recommendations?
None to my knowledge. Not sure if they were made for previous models, but if so you could cut the holes inbthw right places.

I am also waiting for a silicone/rubber/TPU case to be made... don't much like the leather ones.
There were some made for the prime, with good feedback. Not sure how long it will take before we start seeing them for the tf700.

Oops, wrong thread, sorry.
Hopefully one shows up eventually
I've setup a Google Alert for tf700 tpu cases on ebay. Hopefully one shows up some day.
I'd love a TPU case for my TF700, and it's keyboard dock. It would make it indestructible!
Ok, maybe not... But then I really could stop worrying about it so much. For the time being though, I'm waiting on my Skinomi Carbon Fiber skins for both the TF700 and the dock to arrive.

No, it doesn't fit into the dock with the tpu-case on, you have to remove it or remove a part of the case.
Currently I'm using the same case desiged to fit a tf300 and cut some more holes (microHDMI, headphone, more space for miscrosd) into it.
The grip is very good. Compared to my nilkin cases (One X and Nexus 7), theses cases feel better, because of rough areas where you normaly hold your devices, this case is completely smooth.
I will update my impressions as soon i have the real tf700 case.

Currently i only have one case, tf300 with cuts to fit my tf700. As soon i have the ones for my tf700 i will cut the old one to fit into the keydock.
Maybe it will keep its stability, but currently i dont want to risk ruining my tpu-case, i need it to protect my tablet. :laugh:
If usps & our custom authorities are fast i will have my case in about 2 weeks, if they're slow it can take 2 months or more.
Maybe someone within the us of a will be faster with an reviev, but i will give feedback asap.

Updated links to ebay with "smoke"-case.
They had a mistake in the description of the smoke-case, they wrote "tf300" instead of "tf700", now the description seems to be right.
I linked all available colors: blue, purple and smoke.
Currently i have their case for the tf300 with (ugly looking ) homemade cutouts in smoke, it's a transparent grey, so you can see the "asus" brand through the case.
It feels more like ruber then my nillkin cases, hard to describe the tactile feeling.
I got mine today. Purple of course =)

Ordered the gray one, and cut it up so that the keyboard attaches, not too bad.
Only problem seems to be my protractor skills, and a bit of clipping when opening the screen all the way back. Works great though

Has anyone used ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 Screen Protector + Full Body Skin for the TF700? If so, what is your opinion. I wanted to buy a screen protector for my TF700 but I am thinking about getting this instead.
Any other suggestions?
Used on my Galaxy Note.
If you use a hard point stylus, then stay away. I used on my note and it was great, except with the "S-Pen" it messes up and creates this weird almost bubble like look under the skin. This brand of SP is a wet install type. You get a little spray bottle, rubber squeege, and cloth along with the SP. Wet installs are very easy to apply, adjust, remove/reapply untill you get it right (as long as its still wet). It has a slight rubbery feel to it. I grew to prefer it, although some do not like it. This rubbery type texture helps keep it from sliding around when laid down on a center console or dash area of a vehicle and helps you keep from slipping and dropping your device. Expect the front and back pieces to be the only usable pieces, if it comes with any side pieces that are small, they never seem to stay. The company its self is great, many amazon vendors are total crap and are impossible to get decent service through. I love them and will probably get one for my TF700 eventually, but went with a regular clear already as they wernt available.
Chief Geek , thanks for the detailed reply. I forgot to mention that I am fimiliar with the product as I recently used screen protector from the same company for my Nexus 7 and I really like it. My question was more in regards to the quality/fit on TF700 specifically and also wanted to know if putting the full body skin have any issue with docking the tablet.

The fit has always been good, I've used them on a hand full of devices. As for the dock, good questions I don't use a dock KB on mine so it never really crossed my mind. Be sure to update if you go for it and get one. Skinomi makes a carbon fiber full skin too.
I sent an email to ArmorSuit asking about the fitment with dock. Will you know once I get a reply from them.

Following is the reply that I received from ArrmorSuit

Someone said the tf201 Zagg Sheilds fit perfect on the TF700 so I went and ordered a full body sheild. I will let you know how it fits when I get my next TF700.
I'm getting the Skinomi full body skin for the tablet and dock, will be here tomorrow. Not planning on using the screen protector as I already have an anti-glare one on the tablet, just wanted the body and dock protection.
I'll report back when I get it installed as to how well it fits and works with the dock.
Do those skinomi and the armor cover in the first post cover the sides too.

I'm using dark wood from Skinomi, my opinion, it's OK. didn't cover the edge fully, easy to install, nice and flat, almost impossible to have bubbles. You can peel it of and re apply about 10 times. After that, you need a hair dryer, set to warm and blow for a couple seconds for it to stick again. It came with a nice screen protector (wet type). The reason I said it's OK, because when I hold the 700, I felt the rough edge, kind of uncomfortable.
Edit: just did a full review (with pics) for the tablet and dock skinomi skins. Thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29614778#post29614778

I searched Google and the forums but couldn't find the right keywords to find my answer. Does anyone here have the TF700T pad with carbon fiber decals and a screen protector? Do you have the TF700T dock as well? If so, can the dock be attached with decals and a screen protector on, without anything being damaged? I asked someone at BestBuy and they told me no, but they don't know much of anything at BestBuy.

??? If you have the Zagg screen protector what is your concern over the dock fitting without damage when you get the dock if you apply decals?
The Zagg Shield is def thicker than any decal. (what decals are you speaking of)
Or for that matter, why didn't you get the Zagg full body - I'd want to preserve that beautiful aluminum as much as the glass.
There is also a Zagg Shield available for the bottom of the dock -
I have used many protectors over the years and Zagg is without peer. I sold my 14 month old iPad2 w/Logitech bt aluminum keyboard protected by full Zagg Shield and got 450 to put toward my tf700 - it just looked so new. Every little scratch healed itself.
*The shield for the dock doesn't show if doing a lookup just for tablet, redo your search if it's not there. (Zagg promo code ZAGG20)
It's a simple question. Will my dock properly fit onto my Infinity with a Zagg screen protector and carbon fiber decals from Skinomi, on the device?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using xda app-developers app
I don't know about the Zagg screen protector, but I have an Acase screen protector and the Skinomi carbon fiber skin (for the tablet and the dock) and they fit just fine into the keyboard dock. I know that the Zagg screen protectors are prone to lifting on the edges, so it may not work. Zagg will replace it if you mess it up, but that does not solve your problem. I would just get a thinner screen protector like the Acase, because the carbon fiber skin is nice.
Put this on a sticker and print it as a decal.

Assuming that http://www.amazon.com/Sinjimoru-Charge-Samsung-Galaxy-Verizon/dp/B005NJ6EPI would be it.

Looks like the thing would easily tip over... any comments? Can you actually use the phone while it is docked, or does it just tip over?
Looks like most of the amazon reviews say its too lightweight...

Seems like that's exactly why they released the aluminum version, it's supposed to be quite a bit larger and heavier. Still it's a lot for a dock to me, I just use the type that has a sticky gel pad on the front that run for less than $10, combined with some kind of glossy or crystal clear case on my device. Plus side is it keeps the devices "up in the air", so that cables can be plugged into the bottom still.
Ok after seeing the most reviews say that it's pretty much a cheaply made dock, I have an alternative. Although a bit pricey, I can attest to it's quality. I have the Sensation docks, both landscape and portrait. And if the GS3 docks can be used then I recommend this guy's USA made docks out of aluminium. For $68 bux. I can say its worth every penny. I know it's a bit to pay for a dock, but this guy hand makes each dock and you can tell the quality. Looks like you can use the dock with any tpu case you can throw at it lol.
Support made in the USA guys!

I have this dock (picked one up for $5 off Ebay). It is very lightweight and tips over VERY easily. Also, it will not work if you have the bumper because the USB connector won't go far enough in. I bought one of these for my daughters phone too and it broke in just a couple months.
I've owned my TF700 for about two months now, and as I am coming from the Mortorola Xoom the one accessory I've really been missing is the standard charging dock. Not a fan of having to fumble around with the cable and connector every time I want to charge my tablet.
So being on Christmas break I sat down today to make my own charging dock; total cost for this project ran about $14 (Cdn). Here is a list of materials used;
1mm Plasticard stock;
Spare 40cm Asus charging cable;
10x hex bolts;
Spray paint;
Hot glue gun; and
Hobby knife.
Onto the build... I only starting taking pics after I had already gotten the basic frame together;

Here is the first test fit of the tablet in the dock;
The charging connector test fit into the dock;
Then a close up of the frame I built around the connector to hold it in place;
Next the connector was secured to the internal dock frame with a large quantity of hot glue to ensure it could withstand repeatedly attaching and detaching from the tablet;
And then the rest of the shell was completed for the dock;
The dock is now in working order, but tomorrow will bring final sanding, filling a few small imperfections and then painting. I'll update this thread with finished photos.
nice job!
Finished dock;

No, I used a liquid cement that is made for use with plasticard, it's the kind you brush on and dries within about 15 seconds. The hot glue was used to secure the charging cable connector and the steel nuts i used to add weight to the dock.
