Hi,
I am using Promethius V1.5 21E ROM with Promethius Kernel V-Ex+.zip.
When I go to settings > about phone, it shows
Baseband Version L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7+
Build number PromethiusProject v1.5 21E
Software version LGP920+V21e-Apr-19-2012
When I use GetRIL, it shows
RIL LGP920+V21e-Apr-19-2012
Baseband LGP920AT-00-V20c-ESA- (rest not visible)
Now my question is
what is my actual baseband version? Is is 21E as I have Promethius V1.5 21E ROM, and is shown by the Software version in "about phone"
or is it V20C as shown by GetRIL?
I want to be on 21E. how do i now go about doing this?
Please help.

No, I did not flash 21e kdz or .bin
I rooted and flashed ROM DNA_GB 3.3.3 based on the new V21E. then tried 2 other ROMS, had network missing .. then went on to Promethius. Still on Promethius, but have been successful with Acura 3d Max rom, ThiaizO3D rom. reverted back to promethius. Now this issue was discovered. I have absolutely no problems with the phone though, everything is fine. but i would love to change over to 21e if it can be done without hassle.
Can you please advise?
schubeir
yeh you need to find the thread for updating via kdz, and update your firmware to v21e. at the moment what you have ,from the looks of things, is firmware v20c + a rom based on v21e, this is why you get no reception.
so find the thread + dl v21e rom--then root--then install ROM DNA_GB 3.3.3 again..cool

my android version is 2.3.3 GingerBread
kernel version: 2.6.35.10-perf [email protected]#1
my phone was running on 2.2 froyo when i bought it. later then i updated it to 2.3.3 (official firmware update by lg)
i want to to flash a new kernel and rom for maximum performance. i want to play HD games without much lags. so which combination of custom rom and kernel i should use?
andy's Phoenix ROM ( Gingerbread-2.3.4 , released on 2011-10-20) with
franco.Kernel for Gingerbread ( 2.6.35.14) works with mine?
or there is any better combination?
First of all, you will need old baseband or else data and GSM will not work.
Read this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1149530
That combination is the best in my opinion, but you should wait for the new phoenix as the current one has a lot of bugs.
okay. so i have new baseband now. will the above mentioned combination works after i downgrade to 2.2?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=901247 (on this link)
my question is that, i found some roms listed under 2.3.3
will those roms works with mine without downgrading my android version to 2.2?
aga rom and paolo v6 kernel

You don't have to downgrade android, you just have to flash old baseband (also known as radio) see the link I provided in my first post.
Secondly, yes some ROM's are based off the official 2.3.3 and need the new baseband. In that case you don't need to flash old baseband.
when it comes to kernel i saw franco.Kernel under both .32 and .35 kernels. actually i don't know what this .32 and .35 means which franco kernel i should use??
Go for cm7.2 by adfad666 and do flash gbsv20 kernel over it for best perfomance... but you need old baseband for that, be careful while flashing the old baseband as mentioned above, else your phone might be dead if u'll not follow all instuctions.
HIT THANKS if I helped you

You will need to change baseband to the old one as Phoenix is not based on LG's official gingerbread.
so the phoenix 2.3.4 is not based on lg's v20 baseband (i mean the new baseband)? i saw openOptimus under 2.3.3 ROMs. can i install this ROM without changing the current new baseband?

Yup. It will work without changing to the old baseband.
thanks a lot. finally i decided to go with openoptimus ROM and franco.Kernel .35
i have heard lg optimus one has touch screen bug problem. will it fix with this upgrade?
also i want to play HD games without much lags. is it possible by using this combination of ROM and Kernel and overclocking the cpu?

Well, there are workarounds. First of all it's impossible to completely fix the touchscreen bug. Franco is trying to reduce it to some extend. Yes, you can play HD games without lags with the latest kernel from Franco but it gives choppy UI.
So I suggest to use the older Franco kernel for now which gives smooth UI, but HD games will lag a little.
Overall, your phone will be much smoother and have much better performance than stock.
Thank you very much negi for your help.

Hey, as I recommended, as of now use the old Franco kernel.
Here: http://www.multiupload.com/2HD02KTOSX
It will lag a little when gaming but will have smooth UI.
I installed IcySnap V1.5 on my LG P500 which comes with kernel 2.6.35.10-perf + CM9 and overclocked to 729mhz. I really liked the rom, but I was wondering if there is another rom + kernel better that focus on performance and little bit of visual.I'm experiencing lag in some games like Zenonia 5
And if i keep this rom, there is a better kernel to improve the performance ?
*sorry for possible gramm mistakes, english is not my mother language*

Try Miui v 1.2 and pp kernel 1.7
i am about to update my rooted p920 with a new kernel and have decided to choose one of Samno's kernels.. my baseband is v21D so i know i can add his Titan Kernel However, can i apply the Promethius kernel (non +) to my baseband?
i would prefer to add the Promethius one as this seems to have more tweaks and improvements on the Titan version.
You should flash 21e kdz because off GC issues with 21d.
Sent from my LG-P920 using XDA
Can I j just restore it and get back v20c or do I have to reflash v20c kdz???
You may have kernel and or baseband issues
sent from my acidhazard thrill
K I won't then if I go back ill just flash a kdz again
why do u want v20c back? curious, that's all. i just put v21e on my p925g and it seems alright.
I cant get 3g or 4g to work
yeah? im running cm7.2 (lewa) and both the stock and titanfusion kernels are ok. 3g is working fine. i did have problems with promethius 1.3+, but lots of ppl do. going to try 1.4+ later today.
what is the newest stock ROM/baseband for p925g? is v20f, v20g or v20p?
not sure what the newest for 925 is so your saying its a kernal thnk and not a basband thing?
yeah. for me anyways. im no dev, but as far as i can tell with v21e, if you run a v21e kernel with the same baseband it'll work great. any kernel that was made for versions before v21e are kinda problematic.. so might work, others won't.
but, in saying that, when i did go to v21e my stock kernel didn't work at all. not even cell reception (no calls). but after i went to promethius 1.2+, everything worked great
I flashed v21e following "
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1540163
( i do not know how to post without showing the link ), and my kernel changed from version 2.6.35.7 to 2.6.35.7+
I think that because of that i have no network connection (sometimes i have it, sometimes no)
I tried different kernels, like promethius rom 1.5, promethius kernel v1.4.5.1+, xbsa_V21e_gb_ics, NovAndroid2.1
All of them show kernel 2.6.35.7+
I found titankernel_v0.4.2_v21d_09-04-2012 in a german site, tried to flash but it locked my phone
Now i am back to promethius, and i have network connection only at the street, never in buildings.
What should i do?
I had the same problem. I can't open your link at the moment but I flashed 21e fls and bin using smart flash tool and had no signal or wifi. I used blue kernel and it worked.
I flashed 21e kdz with xbsall's help and it worked. Now I'm running xbsa rom with Prometheus 1.5+ kernel and its excellent.

What ROM are you using?
Try using BlueKernel.
Flashed bluekernel, over V20c and now i had no GC for more than 2 days

Help!
Google translate:
I use the LG Optimus 3D P920.
I can not up the rom, wipe cache davil, wipe cache partition, wipe data / factory reset => install zip from sdcard ...... Go to the installation to be a piece of it complete. Restart the stand at the LG screen. I have tried many times but failed.
I tried the rom of xbsall, p-Vlad, xafalo.
Feeling of having to use google translate.
Thanks!

You tried but have you red the thread?
The roms are two:
- one is the stock SU760 ported by XBSA to flash with lgflashtool
- the second is the custom XBSA 2.1a to install through recovery which is similar to Darkroom (the darkroom has just some more features)
The main thing to know (that you should read on thread) is: at the moment you can't install ANY custom rom if before you don't install the stock SU760.
OK?

-download/install all Files that are attached
-download XBSA404_AP.bin from HERE
-flash it via LG FlashTool 1.2 (1.1 is also ok..)
