Why do people keep posting this sh*t in the dev section? Mods have been notified. TO ALL NOOBS, IT'S AGAINST XDA RULES TO POST QUESTION IN THE DEV SECTION. its really getting beyond annoying. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Without noobs, it would be a much cleaner forum without spam in the wrong sections.
He wasn't the one who set the rules, so it's not a high horse. The rules are there for a reason. Being a noob doesn't give you an excuse to break the rules and attack a dev.

You can't really blame them as they've put up with people who thought they were too good for the rules for so damn long. We'll ignore the fact that when you first show up in the Infuse forums, there's a forum labeled Q&A. Common sense would dictate that maybe questions should go there.
So you already showed a lack of common sense by skipping over a forum plainly labeled Q&A for all the world to see. After running blindly past that forum you ended up here in the development section. I mean yeah you really shouldn't be tossing random questions here but I could see how it could confuse you, here you see TWO CM7 threads, wow you hit the jackpot!
But once again instead of taking a minute to check those posts out, instead of using the handy dandy search tool up there ^ and instead of at least posting in one of the other CM7 related threads, you decided to say **** IT to common sense and created a brand new thread for your question.
You aren't special, the question has been asked and answered elsewhere, go forth and find the answer you seek.

our devs who left left for a better phone with better software support that isn't held back by that carrier since it can have software ported from the international version but they each may build one last rom when att drops gb, mikey is still answering in his thread and he and gtg both indicated that they may give it one last shot when the official gb drops. also entropy is still here, though he also got a gs2.

Don't be so offensive, xda's suppose to be a friendly committee. Anna may be annoying, buts that's because he/she doesn't get answers. However Anna you should definitely search Google and xda before asking wuestions. Spamming threads with your question will just annoy people by filling up the thread with pointless posts and creating a new thread for every question before searching would also fill up the forum with spam. Please do some searching first before asking, its in the rules if you haven't read it.

I think that everyone helps him... but its gets a little irritating if he just refuses to do any research on his part... just take this thread as a matter of fact ... the software clearly states that it takes 48hrs to get the stats... he should atleast try to find the answer... we all help others if there is a genuine problem...

As the title states...whats the point...of having a q/a section when clearly only a select few actually get the concept?
This isnt a flame message or trash talk, but I cant for the life of me figure out why people cant figure that out no matter how senior a member is.
I think the dev rules need to be edited where it says question should go in general, but that was posted i think before the q/a section was added.
why have both if no one will enforce the rules(not hating on the mods as im sure they are busy and such.

It appears your problem is common sense. It's a pretty rare problem to have these days. I suggest you work on becoming self absorbed and ignoring rules and procedures.

The worst part of what dc211 said is that its actually true in a lot of everyday situations...
I am one of the testers for EdgeHoods new ROM: ENVY. Im writing this to give you all a heads up on how GREAT this rom is! I honestly believe it is the best rom i have tried..and i've tried a few already and just honestly its the best. Its snappy, fast and just all around great! Im getting unbelievable battery life...about 14-20 hours(depending on if i use my phone alot) on 1 charge while on wifi. Its really truly great and when the rom comes out for everyone i highly recommend that all try it and see for yourself. If any of the testers wanna post something go for it because i know you guys love it too! BE ENVIOUS!

Actually yes you got through a whole process while you sign up, hopefully you read that and the video of how not be a noob. We don't wanna say you are but like it causes problems on developers and the forums if we have constant clutter with all these types of threads that can be considered useless if there have already been solves threads of the same exact problem and such. I don't wanna sound mean but I don't really enforce this, this is just the way this site it. To be honest, I actually think we won't have much people on here if it weren't for one click roots and such meaning less noobs who end up having problem for their lack of rudimentary knowledge towards the android world.
