OK. I know I've read the solution somewhere but no love from Google on this one. I'm running Cobalt on CM10 but I don't like the inverted Gapps. To revert to normal, do I have to wipe Data and Dalvik? I tried just flashing Gapps again but inversion remained.
After Vincom answers this, I am going to totally disregard his solution like the rest of the noobs

Yeah. I guess that will be my approach. Going to have to reload MMS as well since that is inverted also. Thought I had seen an easier way somewhere.

Is it okay to flash the gapps zip from cm9 or aokp on the sky ics ucle2 rom? I found that it can restore apps which is very useful.

If you flash gapps nothing bad should happen all it does is install latest google apps like gmail and stuff

I recently flash CM10, and I lost all my stock GS3 applications that came with my s3. I would like to know where I could get them all and how to install them, Because I know they will not install just by putting them on the SD-Card and trying to install them that way.

I think he is looking for touchwiz applications that will work with CM10, if im readin correctly.
go to the "My Apps" on Plat store then to All Apps and it they might be there, most of them were for me.
If you want TW apps don't flash an AOSP ROM...

If you are running a custom ROM, some will allow Google to redownload them through Playstore, but some dont. I was using SynergyRom and I had to re install all of my apps manually, but Ive since switch over to CleanRom 2.0 and when my phone rebooted, it already started downloading and installing my apps right away that I had on my Stock out of the box Rom. Everything you download and install from PlayStore is backed up on Google servers(If you have the option to back up apps checked in settings) for easy reinstall on a new or different device or if you have to do a factory wipe.

You will have to reflash, but I don't think that you have to wipe caches, or re-do any of your previous mods you did the last time.

I actually just flashed it. You can run the script as many times as you want to make adjustments. Clear caches. At least that's what's posted in the thread. For me it went off w/o a hitch. I'm running seanzscreams skyjelly.

OK I'm having a problem with my Samsung infuse 4G. I just put ice cream sandwich on my phone and ever since some apps are now incompatible with my device that were compatible so is this something I can fix or is this something I just have to deal with. Depends on the app.. I know a lot that didn't update from GB. Flash is a big one of the top of my head. If you have a TB backup you could try to restore it that way.

Yeah I'm not sure I read alot of posts talking about editing the build.prop file to trick the market and I followed the instructions and it still didn't work. Also read a few posts about it being a problem with the LCD density tried changing the settings and still incompatible apps in the market.

I just encountered another problem I'm able to send and receive SMS messages but I can't send or receive MMS messages I'm starting to think that this whole rooting the phone and custom roms isn't worth it unless I can resolve these issues. Anyone else having these issues, or does anyone have the solutions. Thanks for your time.

What apps are causing issues. I know the first time I went to ICS I had to adjust my APN settings. With the amount of people running ICS and JB without issue I'm sure we can help you through it.

I know a lot of development has stopped for ICS. Try moving up to JB. Either Scots cm10.1 or akop. Both are great.

Practically everything, except a select few like hdmi and 720p video recording.
4.2.1 is still missing a few options that need to be merged, but its quickly making progress.
I just got the latest 4.2.1 and everything works like a charm so far... Love it!

Seems like I am always looking for inverted GAPPS. Currently running REM ICS 4.2.2 and 3/01/13 GAPPS.
Any suggestions to an inverted GAPPS maybe like Baked Bean? Mostly interested in calendar, MMS and contacts with black background.

Thanks. I also downloaded B-Boy's black JB theme. Works but then I lose the nice Rem ICS theme.
EDIT: went back to REMICS theme. I tried your link http://www.rujelus22.com/evo/m/index.php but really only need the calendar, contact and MMS inverted. I tried to compile a zip using apktool for just those but the android fell over and the red triangle appeared. I don't have the talent that you guys have nor do I have the time. This is my first day off in 2 months and had too many things to do and couldn't play with apktool.

Tried to decompile the contacts.apk and contactprovider.apk, both separately and the together. I had a color.XML from another inverted contacts and wanted to compare them. Made only a minor change and went to recompile but got an error. Tried several times but always with an error. You can give me the tools but if you can't build, you just can't build. Found DW contacts on Play with dark background... Works for me. Thanks for trying to help. Might try again later.
