When I plug the USB Cable in my laptop for my Motorola Spice XT300, it keeps disconnecting, then reconnecting... like, it'll be charging one second, then it won't be charging at all. It keeps vibrating too which is annoying, and I can't root my phone with it either because it keeps disconnecting... I bought the USB Cable on eBay... so I don't know if it's the wrong one or what.

I don't say that i can't sync my htc. The USB port is totally dead on the phone! I can't use the htc charger my car charger and any other micro usb cable to charge or connect to a PC.
Today i sent my DS back and waiting for an answer this week.
Also waiting for an explain on the red notification light leaking on the top side of the phone.
This is really wire, and I haven't seen anything like this. Connected to PC with USB cable, DS should jump out some alert to select how to connect your mobile.
If the HW fails, Android has no means of knowing you're attemting to connect anything to the system...this is most likely a HW problem, so sending it back for repair/replacement was the right thing to do
I have a gt p3113 when I plug the charger into the wall an x comes over the battery. I can't update or flash anything because when I plug it into my computer it makes the sound that its connected but nothing else no driver installs or anything. I tried kies and it did not pick it up either. I booted it into download mode and plugged it into the computer and still nothing. I really need some advice
Does it still charge?
Sounds like a bad cable or possibly loose connector on the tablet, like all pins aren't connecting.
Hi
I have been having this issue for sometime now. I connect my Nexus to my laptop using the USB cable, and most of the time the screen starts acting up. Touch calibration is all wrong. When i click something, the actual button that is clicked is totally a different one. And sometimes it activates stuff on its own.
I have tried several stuff I found on google. Some said it had something to do with my home electricity not being grounded. I checked. It is grounded. Tried everything from flashing new roms to freshly starting from stock! Nothing seems to work!
Its like this thing have a mind of its own
Hi, if you use stock wall adapter, it's working correctly? Usually that is some kind bad electricity problem or that device where you plugged it causes problems.
Check usb cable. If it's not happening on LG cable and LG wall charger than it's your usb to pc cable problem
PS check other usb port and cable
I dont know if it's my cable or moto g usb port that is defective (maybe driver) but i can't get it to conect stable with computer...
every 5 seconds or so it disconects (I can open phone folders sometimes, but nof for a long time).
I've tested it with my cable and my friends motorola cable(one samsung cable was very loose on moto g), also 3 different laptops...windows dont stop making that disconected device sound
Cable worked ok for flashing a samsung phone with odin, also is ok for chaging moto g on motorola charger, but not from computer usb ports

Android Auto in car keeps cutting out, then looping "Phone is not responding"
Hi, I just upgraded from a Huawei Mate 20 Pro to a new Note 10+
I never had any issues using my Huawei for over a year. Suddenly when I get my new phone, Android Auto is having issues.
Essentially what happens is the phone will connect fine and play my music, and show me maps etc on my car screen.
After 5-30 minutes, it cuts out, and loops between "Connecting" and "Phone is not responding". It will not reconnect unless I unplug and plug back in.
Things I have tried:
Factory Reset
USB cable that came with my huawei
USB cable that came with my qi charger
A brand new belkin cable
A brand new Samsung cable (the one with an adapter from micro USB to USB c)
The cable that came with my phone, with a USB a male to USB c female adapter.
A lot of people say it's the cable, but I feel it surely would have worked with at least one of these cables. I can't use the cable that came with my phone without an adapter.
Any help would be appreciated, this is driving me crazy.
It is the cable issue, I was facing the same issue in my Ford, the problem was the cable, original cables do not break connection.
I used an original Samsung cable and original Nokia cable. Both work fine.
