I have purchased my SAMSUNG GALAXY S GT I9000 from poland last year. Now i live in india and i want to update its firmware.
The details of the phone are as follow,
MODEL NO: GT - I9000
FIRMWARE VERSION: 2.2
BASEBAND VERSION: I9000XXJPP
KERNAL VERSION: 2.6.32.9 [email protected]#1
BUILD NO: FROYO.XWJPF
I Took the phone to samsung service centre but they denied to update it saying the phone is from Poland and it cant be updated in INDIA.
So is there any way that i can update the firmware of my phone?? Kies is also not working.
PLease tell me the way out. Will be very thankful..

Hi all, This is a French phone/setup bought already rooted that I would like to bring back to stock or re-root. Can I use 'one click unroot'? Do I need to have a stock or rom version that matches the xxjpy baseband or can it be any version (ie Darky's rom)?

I need to install a custom rom on my samsung duos gt-s7562 but unfortunately the driver does not work.
it's now three days I'm trying KIES (updating it) and samsung drivers available on the forum [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961956] and everywhere else, none of them was useful.

I searched on sammobile and it shows version as 4.1.2, which is exactly what I have. I need to upgrade to a newer version.
