Hey everyone, had some questions about parts for the S2 LTE (I have the Rogers version... I727R)
I have one here that originally had some issues with reading SIM cards and would always show up as "Unknown Device" when hooked up via USB. My brother found parts for it on eBay and replaced both the SIM card reader and the USB port. Now it sounds like he may have gotten Galaxy S2 parts as opposed to Galaxy S2 LTE parts. Is there a difference?
Also is it possible to replace the radios on these phones in a similar manner?

Hi guys,
I recently bought this sorta dock for the Galaxy S phone, mentioned also in this thread.
It's geniuine Samsung accessory, and works great - on i9000 (tested). The only trouble is that what I have is the i9001 Galaxy S Plus, and it does not charge my phone though the led is on. I reckon that it has to do with some component of the OS that is not recognizing the dock (of course it does work with the usual charger plugged straight up without the dock).
Thus my question is whether there is some component that could be substituted from the original i9000 Galaxy OS into my i9001 that would fix this problem(responsible for charging perhaps)? I would post it into i9001 android dev forum, but I can't do this yet since I don't have enough posts.
Many thanks in advance!
you should not have problems with it. try changing the rom to a stock one and see if you have the same problems.
Jup. Micro usb is allways the same. It should work with every Phone that is going to fit in the dock.
I've been looking at different models of these, from the offical Samsung one to the cheap china models. I was wondering if anyone has one and how their's works and where it came from???
I'd like to find one that plug into the wall so I can charge the tablet also.
This is a very good advice can go try ah
Hi, I believe usb connetor in mobile is not working at all. It is not taking charge, wall mount chargers (tried different ones and all are working in other mobile), tried Computer Usb cables same thing. Since this mobile is not launched in India parts availability is rare or none. can somebody point me if the motherboad or usb connector used in Infuse is having any similartiy to Galaxy s2, captivate, or any other mobile probably launched in india, or the usb connectors are genric ones.
As of now i'm in JB cm-10 scott build. so I assume i can use this even in future as long as i wont do any big mistake where i need to go back to stock. Any other way to go back to stock I mean using sd card, airdroid etc?
Thanks.
Dear all
I recently bought Samsung tablet T500 with a USB port which it interest me much but the device was come up also with an option capable of to receiving a sim card but slot only (no sim card tray). Does anybody know about it, weather I can buy and fix the tray? Because I just thought they put it on purpose.
I have Samsung Galaxy S7 model SM-G930FD dual sim for asia pacific region. I want to connect my phone to internet using ethernet to usb adapter connected to OTG cable. I read somewhere that this is possible to do in android since marshmallow, and there is many people doing the same with other phone and it works. But I can't make it to work with my S7, anyone knows what I should do to enable it?
Maybe give this a try (if you're rooted or willing to root)
I'm not sure if this will work on Marshmallow or even on the S7.
Contact the OP of the linked thread and see what they say.
