My sister has been with Verizon for YEARS and NEVER missed a payment NOT EVEN a penny. Her and her husband are really good when it comes to bills. She has an iPhone 4 and her husband a 4S. Both on the unlimited plan. Is there a way I can switch plans with them? We are all in the same account just different numbers (and me with limited data) I REALLY use data mainly for GPS or school (no WiFi in school) (its summer anyways) any help is greatly appreciated : D

The only way to switch plans would be to switch phone numbers with your sister. The data plans are associated by phone number. If you were willing to change your phone number with hers and vice versa, that's the only way I see it happening. Without upgrading to a different phone, mind you.

You're welcome!

Noooooo you can switch her plan to your # and you
can both keep your numbers. Me and my sister did the same thing

But I will have her unlimited plan
It's just a little confusing lol

Heh if I were you're sister I'd tell yay to pound sand. Maybe she's not using much because she's 3g but when she gets 4g she will. I hardly used 1gb on 3g.....this it's may first month with 4g I'm s already almost at 4gb.

4G close to Chicago, Illinois ?

Im going in a business trip for a week and I would like to know If 4G works in Chicago , if yes if is good? And I'm going to oak brook (close to Chicago) and also 3G speeds as well, any information will help and I hope someone from the area has a nexus s 4G
Chicago is blanketed with Clear's wimax service, so I'm sure you're good.

4g is great around Chicago. Oak Brook should be covered without an issue. 3g speeds are hit or miss depending on congestion. Signal is great but speeds can lag.

I have 4G coverage out in Naperville. Was in Oakbrook today with full 4G bars. Have never had a problem with 4G even when I got the EVO back in June of last year.

100$ good price?

I'm planning to get another nexus s 4g , the other one that I got back in may my wife wanted after I got the evo 3d so I have it to her, I still want the nexus s cause it will get ICS first and I would like to know If I get a nexus s 4g for 100$ is good price or I should try lower?
is that on a contract? how many years?
If it's $100 with a clean ESN, that's a great price.
Well is a used phone person said esn is clean and yeah I'm gonna connected to my other line before I paid him
What condition is the phone in?

For 100$ its great price I would do it in a heart beat!

I just got mine
I bought a nexus s 4g 2 weeks ago and paid $170 no contract clean esn
A month prior i bought one with a crack witch I didnt mind for $70 but esn
was bad had to return to seller cause he said it worked on Sprint.
Good condition has a zagg shield and esn is clean 100$ it is then lol
Truth be told $100 for a used one is a ideal price, (maybe $175 new) as its value will go UP once ICS is OFFICIALLY released for it. the 4g version is only like 6mo old. I had been shopping around for one right after the ICS keynote. As I KNEW the NS would get it 1st before any other already released phone. (or even new ones coming out now, lol) They're going to go up to back around 150-200 range used once ICS drops. Id grab one now if u can for 100 or less if u can haggle or dont care about the condition.
Luckily i found a goofy on Craigslist who traded me for my Evo4g up front. it was a new refurb, so it was in mint condition.
I got me a nexus s for t mobile 90$ the screen is cracked in the top (black top bezel) does anyone know hoe much is to replaced a digitizer

No 4g in Omaha NE...

Does anyone know when there will be 4g towers for Verizon in Omaha? Super tired of buying 4g devices and scooting along at what seems like a snails pace nowadays on 3g.

There is 4G LTE all over Omaha. I was using it just the other day. Look at the coverage map on Verizon's site.
Theoretically there's supposed to be 4g coverage wherever Verizon has 3g currently by the end of 2013. Dunno if that was just the rep spring his mouth off or if its true. I'm not holding my breath tho.

Well that's terribly annoying. Waiting another year+ before I get to actually use my devices to full potential... Awesome!
What??
I was in Omaha all summer and I had it almost everywhere.
Great speeds at my work too
Edit: almost everywhere I went at least...

S2lte Holiday Pricing

I'm getting someone a phone for Christmas and it's between the Skyrocket (really S2 lte here in Canada) or the S3. Here's my problem: I can get the S3 for zero dollars thru futueshop, but they are also having a deal where you can get an S2Lte for zero as well WITH a $150 gift card bonus.
Which is the better deal?
On one hand, the S3 is the newer device, but on the other, the S2 LTE is still relevant and that gift card is tempting
Which would you pick?

There is no "best" deal, but a popular one I know of and use is with T-Mobile, a non-contract $30 a month plan with unlimited data(first 5gb at 4g speed) unlimited texting and 100 talking minutes. I rooted my phone and can now tether without the fee and I use an app to make free phone calls. 5gb of data is a lot for phone usage, even if you tether it should last you a month. If you're looking for a home internet service though you should still order wifi because 4g speed isn't great on laptops.
i have sprint.. been with them almost 4 years.. i love them.. well service sucked for a while but now i get great 4g lte in my state so im happy.. i get unlimited talk.. text.. data.. and use wifi tether all the time with no issues.. i would hate to have a limit on data..
